Suddenly, folks broke the rhyme
And stomped the normal flat
All scurried home to raid their pantry

Sherine carried bags of oriental sweets

ABBA brought the plums so sweet
Ringo cooked up bubble 'n squeak

Snow White baked a gooseberry pie
“No apples!” she trilled. “No one has to die.”

Stan Lee dragged all his heroes along
To stand guard and wait on the hungry throng

Bill served everyone pints of lemonade
“On the house,” he said “the pub's happy to aid.”

Myna smiled, serving her tasty pub grub,

Hemingway fried up some grouper
Together they served millions for lunch
Then invited them back for supper
