Swoosh! zip into field
Heroic nerd, untouchable powerlevel
Unknown shadow has drawn near

“Ready to die?” the shadow roars
Giant made of steel and anger
Faces a doubtful victor

Unveiled a tremendous form,
Returned a giant-sized grin,
His ki-pressure matched the giant

“Ready to smash!” iron fists clash
The crowd thunders, lusting for blood
Giants attack, crash, thud…

Gathering global binary energy
Fade, spin, evade, pose
“So much rancid stench” backs-up

Time to bring out the arsenal
Clang! Unearthly piece of weaponry appears
“Now you give up!”

I think hard, concentrate
Numbers alive combine form
An 8-bit blade chaos infused

The surface of the earth shakes
Fire balls plunge into the arena
Wicked witches laugh like hyenas

Cocky grin to terror, Oh my Kami
Trips trapped feet, trembling topsoil, turning tenebrous
Goodbye to my ever-growing backlog

“Why are you still awake?
It's a school day tomorrow!”
Mother yells.

We've been working on this poem since last year, can you believe it? 😁
It's been a  pleasure to work with SupaJayV6 to create this unusual poem. Unusual for me at least.  It's been a challenging but rewarding journey. I hope you feel the same way about it. ;)
