You revel in the dark,
I find solace in light
Our souls crave a spark,
of hope to beat our plight

You marvel at my trust,
My optimistic glare
Laugh at me if you must
My optimism is fair

When life gives you lemons
You can make lemonade
Or you can weep and hide
Inside your cage, afraid

My friend, life is too short
To dwell on darkness, dear
Even in the gloomiest night
Fireflies can make it clear

I have seen wolves cry in memories of moon
I have danced while silence played bassoon
Wonder do you why there's no shadow of fire?
We hide agony behind smiles, hypocrites & liars

It frightens my soul when you talk hopes
They seem to me like scaffold and ropes
Little do we know that darkness isn't sorrow
To shine bright, it is what the light borrows

Because demise of darkness
Makes serene light breath
As we want the blooming moon with
Meadows of black beneath

(Dark is beautiful )

Dark is tolerable
For dawn we know follows
Life would be horrible
Had we lived in bleak hollows

Hope is a choice, it might
Invite some brighter views
It's neither black nor white
Life wears multiple hues

May your starless nights
Light up with a million stars
A meteor shower of love
To heal your deepest scars
