When you always have to help them out

Maybe they don't need that budding sprout

Maybe all they need is a listening ear

A simple hug, a coffee mug made to cheer

All my presence is profound,

And I hope that it works out

I don't know if I can make it happen,

and that is what makes me doubt

But I won't give up on a dream so dear

When the path I see is crystal clear

All the signs out there are telling a truth

What we need is love and hope to soothe

There are a lot of bad things,

Happening in this world

We can only try to make it work

For in the end, trying is the perk
