When you're on Wattpad for a while, especially when you're an author in my position, you're bound to find some things that bother you...here are 10 things that bug me SOO much about Wattpad. (Briefly inspired by DubstepFoxMedic)

10. Story update glitches
This is a minor one, but sometimes the app glitches and there's no notification that the story updated. It really sucks when you have people who don't check their news feed and have no idea the story updated.

9. Self-advertising
I always see comments of people advertising themselves and their work and it really bugs me. I never self-advertised; look at where I am!

8. "FNAF Animatronic x Reader" stories
I apologize if you have a story like this, but surely you can create a fanfic that isn't so...unlike a story?

7. People linking stories that have nothing to do with each other
The biggest example is my Plants vs. Zombies story, where I have a character named Freddy. Yeah, I'm sure you get where I'm going with this. It really pisses me off that most of my comments on a PLANTS VS. ZOMBIES STORY are relating to Five Nights at Freddy's. It also makes me sad that most people aren't giving actual reviews of something I put a over a year's worth of effort into...

6. People asking questions I've already obviously answered.
The fact I still get asked if I'm making a FNAF 4 story even though I already said I may not makes me feel like nobody's reading what I'm saying, which hurts me so much, actually...

5. "That's not how it goes!"
I see comments in so many fanfics saying that the author is wrong in how something went. Guys. It's called FAN fiction! The author can do what they want!!

4. Plagiarism
This is mostly relating to story writing in general, but I really hate when somebody steals another author's work and claims it as their own. I've had my problems with plagiarism that I'm still working out, but it's just an awful feeling.

3. "You suck!"
I don't see it as often, but when I see hate comments on somebody's story, I do whatever I can to help the author in question. Would you like it if somebody hated on something you put so much effort into?

2. Reading stories out of order
There are people who read my story "FNAF: Grand Reopening" before the story that was published before it, "Five Nights at Freddy's". I'm sorry, but even though it's a prequel, you should still read them in order! It makes revealing connections to other stories that much better!

1. "UPDATE NOW!"
Nothing makes me angrier than people rushing me to update a story. Yes, some of them have been unfinished for a while, but would you rather have a story that was pieced together in 30 seconds with no thought put into it, or a longer story with thought an emotion put into it? That's why all comments asking (or worse: TELLING me) to update are deleted ASAP.
