Top 10 Dumbest FNAF Theories

There are some theories about the Five Nights at Freddy's games that really make you believe they could be true! And those are the theories that WON'T be in this list! No, I'm counting down my personal opinions of the FNAF theories that just make you go, "...daf*q?". Now, I'm not saying all of these theories are terrible; some actually seem logical. But there happen to be more logical explanations behind it that prove it false. So, without further ado...

10. Foxy is a good guy.
I'm starting with a theory that's been around since FNAF 1. Apparently, Foxy is a good animatronic that is looking out for you. When you don't check the cameras for too long, he runs out to see if you're okay. But when he comes in your room, his malfunctioning voice box causes the scream, thus giving Mike a heart attack and causing him to die. Personally, I don't think this to be true. Yes, it's logical, but c'mon, guys; I don't think that was Scott's intention when he made Foxy. I say Foxy is out to get you just as much as the rest of the crew.

9. Scott had the whole story thought out from the beginning.
This is pretty self-explanatory, and I have some belief in it. However, I don't think the ENTIRE FNAF story was created from the beginning. I think the simple story about the murders that we discovered in FNAF 1 was Scott's original story for the game, but after the success of it, he decided to add more to it (Which I personally think may not have been the best idea, from the viewpoint of a fanfic writer).

8. The paper plate doll is possessed by the soul of a child.
This one isn't as popular, but it's still weird. I mean, yes, it's confirmed that the paper plate doll from FNAF 2 had its own AI, but it being possessed by a child? Really? I don't buy it. I think it was just to add extra spooks, like JJ/Balloon Girl.

7. BB caused the Bite of '87.
...dare I explain why this is on the list?

6. The Toys were designed so bodies couldn't be stuffed into them.
When I first heard this, I actually found it logical; it's believed that the FFP before FNAF 2 was the one where the children were stuffed jnto the animatronics (as I've done with my FNAF series). But, a lot of people pointed out that it could simply be because they were trying to make them more kid-friendly and change their design, like Phone Guy claimed. It's still up for debate, but I personally don't believe this theory any more.

5. The FNAF 2 story comes after FNAF 1.
I don't think anybody believes this anymore, but when FNAF 2 first came out and everyone found the ending, we were all scratching our heads as to when this game took place. The reason this theory about it being a sequel makes this list is because of why people thought this was a sequel. For example: "but it says 2 in the title!" "But it's the NEW Freddy Fazbear's Pizza!" "But it has the old animatronics from FNAF 1!" "But the Phone Guy is a different guy, they just sound the same!" Yeah, such strong evidence, guys...

4. The Purple Man in the 'Save Them' mini game could be holding a banana.
I kid you not, I heard this theory before. I laughed like crazy when I heard it, and I refused to believe it.

3. Scott intentionally hid the 8's and 7's in the source code of his website to lead to a pizzeria in Google Maps that could possibly be the location in FNAF 4.
I'm not saying this was stupid for people to believe; Scott is good at hiding subtle details. But I don't think he'd go THAT far as to make a REAL pizzeria the location of this game. And when I heard that people actually started CALLING the pizzeria in question and asking them questions about FNAF, I kinda was embarrassed to call myself part of the fandom...thankfully, Scott intervened and told everyone it was a coincidence.

2. The Puppet is afraid of Springtrap and disappears when he is near.
In FNAF 3, when Springtrap is in Cam 8, the Puppet mask seems to disappear. This caused a few people to believe that maybe there was a feud between the two. But, there's a simpler explanation: He's in front of the Chica light!! Ever hear of SHADOWS, people??

1. "Mike killed all"
Apparently, when you play the beginning of the FNAF 2 trailer backwards, the part where there's an ominous choir of children singing "London Bridge" sounds like it's saying "Mike killed all", causing some to believe Mike Schmidt was actually the killer. Let me repeat: when you play LONDON BRIDGE backwards, it says "Mike killed all". And people think was intentionally placed by Scott? Seriously??
