3rd Person's POV

"Yah~ Eodiya?~" Daehwi whines when suddenly the restaurant bell rings, "Omo, daetnida(thank goodness...)" He breathes a sigh of relief looking at the person in front of him, "Noona, thank goodness you're here, Hyung won't stop and I didn't know what else to do. Mian... " Daehwi says looking down on his lap, "Gwaenchanha Daehwi-ah~ You must be tired. Maybe Somi can accompany you to the van." Suddenly, they hear something grumbling. They look at Somi holding at her stomach and smiles with embarrassment written on her face, "Aish, i yeoja~ Kaja Cuckoo Head~ I'll accompany you while you eat." Y/N smiles at them while they both walk to another table to order Somi's dinner. She looks down at the drunk latter in front of her whose head is rested on top of his arm as a pillow. He's still awake as the bottle he's holding still seems to move a little She puts her bag down and kneels beside him. Y/N tries to grab the bottle away from him, "Geumanhae~" Her voice comes out soft and sweet as he responds with his head still resting on the table, "Wah~ Hyung your girl voice came back. Wae? Does it always come out only when I'm drunk?*giggles*" Her eyes furrow confusingly until a memory hit her.

~Flashback~

Y/N's POV

~Red Flavour~

"Oppa! Your phone's ringing!" Jisung didn't reply so I look at the caller ID, "Baby Kang? Huh? Isanghae..." I answer the phone call for him considering it's a save number."Yeoboseyo?" "Yah, Hyung, you're getting better at *hiccups* imitating people's voice,*giggles**hiccups* I really *hiccups* thought you *hiccups* were a girl.*giggles**hiccups*" The boy on the other side said slurrily, Omo, he sounds very drunk, "Omo, neo gwaenchanha? Do you need help? Oh, jamkamman, Oppa..." I ask worriedly before I called my brother.

"Wae? Who's calling? Why do you look so worried?" "The contact says Baby Kang, geunde, he sounds super drunk and I don't think he's in a position to be alone right now..." I said feeling somehow uneasy about his friend, "Ah~ Arrasseo... you should go to sleep, I'll take care of this," nod and enter the room but overheard what Jisung said next, "Yah, Niel-ah, gwaenchanha? Neo jigeum eodiya(Where are you now)?"

~1 Hour later~

Although it was late, I couldn't sleep. Luckily for me, the next day was Saturday, so, I could wake up late. I was reading a book when someone knock on my room door.

*Knock Knock*

"Dongsaeg-ah, sorry to bother you but, for tomorrow morning, can you make some hangover soup? My friend doesn't want his parents to worry, so, he's staying over for tonight." "Oh arrasseo, Oppa~ But I don't think I'll be joining you guys for breakfast, I might wake up during lunchtime*giggles*" I said with a smile that he returned back while laughing slightly at my statement and mouthed a silent thank you, "Geunde, Oppa, what happened to him? Is he okay now?" He smiles, "Maybe that's a story for another day. Let's not bring this up while the scar is still freshly cut, hm? Jaljayeo dongsaeng-ah~" He closes the door leaving me slightly dumbfounded.

~End Of Flashback~

Niel-ah? He still can't control his bad habits, huh? Y/N shakes her head in disapproval. She raises her hand as she contemplates on whether she should do it or not, her hands suddenly acts on it's own. It softly caresses his hair as Daniel turns his head suddenly facing her. She pulls away immediately, regretting her actions as Daniel grabs a hold of her wrists, she stays there as he puts her hand on his cheeks. They're warm from the alcohol he had. His nose and lips are red too. He won't let go of her hand when suddenly she hears him snore lightly, "Dongsaeng? What are you doing here?" "Oh, Oppa... I thought the others left already... " "We did but I don't think Daehwi can carry Daniel on his own. How did you know we were here?" "Daehwi texted Somi asking for some help..." She pauses and looks at Daniel's passed out figure. Jisung suddenly pulls her into a hug as she pats his back, "I know he's my friend, but he's a jerk and I'm sorry he hurt you and I wasn't there to prevent that from happening." His words muffle as his face got buried slightly on her hair, "Na gwaenchanha, geunde... " She pulls away and looks at Daniel again, "I don't think I can handle seeing him for now... " Jisung nods, "I'm gonna stay with Somi for the time being. Can you please... don't tell Eomma and Appa about this?" Jisung nods understandingly, "Even Eomma-nim?" "Yah, the guy hurt you and you don't want me to tell his mother about this?? I understand if it's ours but he needs to be taught a les---" "Oppa jebal..." Her voice starts trembling slightly. He sighs and nods, "Is everyone ready to go back? Because I'm done eating and plus I bought a take away for you, Unnie." She smiles at Somi's sweet gesture and pulls her hand away from Daniel slowly, "Let's take him back to the dorm."

~An Hour Later~

Somi is sleeping soundly in the car. As they didn't want to bother her, Jisung, Y/N and Daehwi enter the dorm while carrying Daniel together. They walk upstairs and put Daniel down on his bed and soon massages their shoulders, "Man, he's heavy!" Daehwi says while Jisung glances at the clock in the room. "Can you please just for tonight... check on him from time to time? I know I shouldn't care but I'm worried if something bad happens... I heard Daehwi said that he can't handle up to 3 bottles of alcohol..." Jisung sighs at his Y/N's request, She still loves this jerk despite the way he treats her, "I'll be sleeping-over at Somi's for the time being. If you need anything, just call me. Annyeong~" She says and waves at the two boys. She gazes over to Daniel's sleeping figure before she walks out of the room and exits the dorm. Jisung looks at Daehwi who's yawning and stretching his body out of tiredness as he let's out a small smile, "Yah~ Neo, pigonhaji ani(Aren't you tired)? Go to your room and sleep. I'll handle it from here." Daehwi nods sleepily, giving an 'okay' signal to Jisung and soon walks out of the room to enter his. Jisung starts taking off Daniel's shoes and change his clothes before he got ready for his own slumber. When he has finally gotten ready to go to sleep, he walks towards the light switch, but accidentally kicks on Daniel's bag near the table lamp. He picks it up, however, something falls out of the bag as it's unzipped. Jisung sighs and picks up the fallen item and is quite puzzle to know that it's a smartphone box. Seeming that it's still wrapped in a plastic with a bow, it's still new. He flips the box and sees a message written on it.

I'm sorry you broke your phone...I know it's hard, and I probably don't deserve your forgiveness, but... can we start over?

Jisung sighs and scoffs while looking at Daniel's sleeping figure, "Neo paboyah, geugeo ara(You're a dumb kid, you know that)?" He raises his fist as if he is going to punch Daniel, "You love her too, don't you?" He asks the sleeping boy quietly, knowing that he won't respond, however, the questions in his minds automatically escapes his lips without him realizing. Jisung walks into each and everyone's room, checking on each and every member before he goes back to his shared one. He looks at Seongwoo and Daniel, who has already fallen into deep sleep. He soon switches off the lights, tucks himself in bed and turns his body to face towards Daniel's direction. Although feeling tired after the long day, he is still intently thinking about how messed up Daniel and Y/N's relationship is. They both love each other, but it seems that every time things are just about to go well, it ends up breaking again. Both are too scared to put their trust on each other because of their past and it's the reason why they push away those true feelings they have for each other. How are they going to survive this? Will they survive this? He messages his temples and goes to sleep to give himself some piece of mind.

~Next Morning~

Daniel's POV

"Aaahhh!"I wake up feeling like my head just got hit by a truck, "Told you to stop when you had your third bottle, but nooo~ you wanted to go up to the sixth bottle~" I glare at the younger one, leaning against the door frame, who seems to be nagging at me with an annoyed facial expression and sassy tone. His arms cross over his chest, rolling his eyes for my habit of drinking last night. Seongwoo, who's standing beside him, gives me a displeased look, mimicking Daehwi while holding a tray of food in his hands. He approaches and puts the tray in front of me, "Hwi's right, you know? Should have probably controlled yourself on alcohol... and women." He says the last word quietly while looking away, thinking I didn't hear it. As he turns his head facing me, I give him a deadpan look. Seongwoo gulps at my expression and pats my lap before exiting the room, looking a bit scared, while awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck, acting innocent. I slowly eat the soup served when Jisung enters the room, "Hyung..." I stop whatever I was doing, remembering how upset he was the night before, "Morning~" He says with his smiling eyes and warming tone as he sits in front of me, "Neo gwaenchanha?" I feel surprise by his sudden kindness but still nod as a respond. I thought he would be mad, because the last time he spoke to me, he seemed like he would want me to disappear from his sight, "Neo... gwaenchanha?" I ask feeling confuse, making him furrow his eyes at me and laughs slightly at my question, "Of course I am! I didn't drink last night like you did!*laughs*"

I look at him and hang my head low feeling tears about to flow out, "Mianhe..." I sniffle at him, "Yah~ Ooljima~ Gwaenchanha~ Everyone makes mistakes, hm?" I look up and see him giving me a warm smile while his hands are on mine trying to comfort me, "I don't want to lose her, but I hurt her so much... I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise to you..." I suddenly feel a few pair of hands hugging me. I look up and see the boys hugging from all sides, trying to comfort me.

"Hyung, if you regret what you did, it's already enough to show how much you care and how you do have a heart." (Jinyoung)

"She loves you as much as you love her, we can see it." (Daehwi)

A comfortable silence engulfs the room when suddenly...

"Plus, if she doesn't love you, she wouldn't have helped carried your drunk state to the dorm last night." I look up wandering my eyes, searching for who said it, but I only see everyone standing on their spot, frozen. Seongwoo has his eyes wide open and not moving even an inch from his spot as Daehwi hits his shoulder frustratingly, "Mwo?" I ask, eyes widening at what he said while I scan the room, everyone else either facepalming or looking frustratingly at Seongwoo. Daehwi sighs, "You wouldn't stop drinking last night and we were all getting worried when you got to your fifth bottle so,..."

~Flashback~

Daehwi's POV

"I had no choice but to ask Somi myself about Y/N Noona's whereabouts. Thinking that maybe if she's with Somi, she might help you stop drinking if you hear or see her in front of you.

Me: Somi-ah, is Y/N Noona with you?

Cuckoo Head: Nuguseyo(Who is this)?

Aish, I yeoja! I have no time for jokes right now!

Me: Yah! I'm not in the mood for jokes, Cuckoo Head! Nae hyung-i nal michige hae(My Hyung is driving me nuts)!

Cuckoo Head: Ne, Mr Sassy Pants, she's with me, wae?

Me: Hogshi... can you help me with something?

She didn't respond for a while, so, I sent the message in a rush.

Me: Daniel Hyung got into a fight with Jisung Hyung. Daniel Hyung is almost dead drunk in front of me now because he started ordering alcohol... he's drinking over his limit and all members even the crew has tried everything to stop him but it hasn't worked. I know what happened... but can you please ask Y/N Noona to come and help, juseyo?

~End Of Flashback~

"She didn't answer me so, I thought she wouldn't come..." "Did she?" Daniel asks with pleading eyes at me. I nod in response, "Geunde, you should let her breathe for a while..." We look at Minhyun, who suddenly speaks up, "I don't really know what happened, but, she seemed really broken even before she saw you kissing another girl... I saw how her mood is always down ever since you guys got married, how her eyes were always puffy, how sad she looks..." I look at him confusingly, How did he know? Is he stalking her? It seems that I'm not the only one wondering everyone looks at him with their eyebrows raised, "Now, don't get me wrong... I don't like her that way, okay? I knew you got married to her... I caught a glimpse of her face when you guys were thanking the guests." I nod and breathe out a sigh of relief as he continues, "Before you guys got married, she would always smile when I greet her, Y/N-sshi would even ask if we're doing well with our practice and such. But it changed after that... she only fakes a smile, and never ask anymore... and lately, seems like she doesn't even smile anymore. She slowly became... cold I guess?"

3rd Person's POV

"What have I done?" Daniel buries his head in his hands, feeling guilty, knowing his the reason behind her change of character. A girl who used to be so caring and bright towards everyone has become a cold and quiet person because nobody knows what happens in her personal life nor ask. He himself didn't know how badly those words he said affected her, how hurt she is by his actions and words, how it could lead to her not wanting to listen to anyone around her, thinking that everything he said is the only truth about her life. A life where nobody loves her, a life where she doesn't deserve love and how she'll never be accepted by the person that she loves.

Daniel starts remembering everything he said to her...

"I'm not interested in having a conversation with you so don't even bother trying."

"Just because we're married, doesn't mean I'll love you, and just because your brother happens to be one of my best friends doesn't mean I have to treat you any special. Do I make myself clear?"

"What? You're angry that I caught you being a slut---"

"Can't answer that, can you now? Little slut."

"Giving up so easily?"

"Geurae, and you can have fun with your little boy toys while I'm at it. Am I right?"

"My wish? *scoff* Isn't it to grant your wish? I bet you and-, wait who are you with again? Is it Hojung? Mingyu? Or is it Jinyoung? I mean who knows? You've talked to every guy in the company right? Might as well sleep your way through it."

"Fun? *scoffs* With who I wonder? Hmmm..."

"Jinjja? Did you bring a guy in the house while I was at the shoot?"

Everything he has said to her, has lead to her coughing out the words he had expected her to say, but was hoping the time would never come...

"... I hate you Kang Daniel."

Daniel starts crying again with his face buried inside his hands, only this time, he cries harder making Minhyun quite baffle as he doesn't know what he said that made the situation worst. The members' start panicking, not knowing how to handle the situation, "Y-yah~ Everything's gonna be fine, Niel Hyung~ Geogjeong mala~ Ne, Hyung?" Daehwi nudges Seongwoo's elbow asking for help, "N-ne maja~ Yah Niel-ah~ All we need to do is just make you a little bit more of a player a bit in this romance stuff. She'll take you back in no time~" "Yah! Being a player is the reason she hates him neo paboyah!" Minhyun retorts with a little bit of anger in his tone. Seongwoo lips makes an O shape as he had just realized what he had just suggested and mouthed a 'sorry' to them. Daniel sees Daehwi holding his phone, suddenly, he springs from his bed and snatches Daehwi's phone away. He runs to the living room while Daehwi chases him as his searches for a number at the contact list, but, just when he is about to ring it, Daehwi snatches it away from him on time and gives him a deadly glare making him gulp out of fear. Daehwi enters the room again, making sure he holds his phone firmly inside his pant's pocket.

"*sigh* Eottohkaji(What can we do now)?" Everyone starts sighing in defeat and looks down on the floor, all of the boys look like their lost and don't know what needs to be done as Daniel couldn't stop blaming himself for what he has done to Y/N, "I have a plan" Everyone looks at the voice and stare at him with their eyes blinking with blank faces.

The boy smirks and shows his index finger with a proud face when he finally got their attention, "Shall I continue?" Everyone looks at each other unsure, but soon nods and agrees. The latter clasp his hands and gives out a grin to the others, "Kaja!" Everyone starts sitting in circles as he explains.

I find that it suits this story the best, especially the intro as it represents a person's regret on the way they had let go or treated their loved ones. The whole song also explains how a person realizes how much their wrong choices and actions have lead them to live a life filled with tears, loneliness, regret and as time passes by, nobody else can seem to replace that empty void except for one special person. It's sad and I can't seem to listen to that song without having the need to cry my heart out. 😭😭😭
