ㅤㅤ"Thank you, doc." I bowed to the doctor who just checked in even though he can't hear me.
I saw how he hugged himself for a second as he looked around. "Why is it so cold in this room?" He mumbled.
Oh, right. He surely felt chills because of my presence.
"Sorry, it's a ghost thing! I can't do anything about it." I scratched my nape as he walked away. Jimin is now awake from his semi-comatose state. It took days for him to open his eyes and talk.
"Oh, thank God!" I screamed in happiness. "You're finally okay!"
Jimin sheepishly looked at my eyes before he smiled, he was still laying on the bed, while I'm sitting on the stool. He mouthed something that made me cry.
"I missed you, like a lot."
I bawled my eyes out. "I also missed you a lot, you fool. You made me worried as hell! I thought you're gonna end up like me!"
"That doesn't sound so bad," He joked.
His eyes toured around the room. When he was resting, I made a lot of banners and designs for him. I pasted the letters on the wall, along with flowers and balloons. "Yah... What's with this overly passionate welcome?" He smiled, shyly.
"I did it to summon you, honey," I winked.
Jimin chuckled. "You still use both eyes when you wink."
"How do you feel now?"
"My body still hurts but I feel a lot better..." He softly said. "...It was because of you, Yeon-ah."
Yeon-ah.
Did he make a nickname for me?
"I wasn't the one who cured you though." I joked.
"Y-your soft whispers in the past few this helped me a lot to get better... Your prayers and sweet messages for me, uh, I heard it all..." He avoided my gaze. "Thank you."
"Say it one more time," I grinned.
"Thank you." He smiled.
"No, the nickname you made for me."
"Yeon-ah..."
"Let's get married, dude," I suggested. "Like right now."
"Let me sign the papers."
"Yah, you should atleast play hard to get!"
He laughed, his eyes disappearing. "Can I go home now? I can't take the atmosphere of hospitals."
"Not so fast," I stopped. "You just woke up today, you have to at take a rest atleast for two days before we leave."
He stared at me, making me clear my throat and look away.
"You should eat something first," I gulped. "Eat this hospital food while it still look okay," I said, referring to the set of food the nurses just placed here. "Or you can take what Jungkook brought for you."
He frowned. "He brought food for me?"
"Yeah, I don't know what happened to that dude. He just goes inside here every day, drops food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, stare at you for exactly 2.5 seconds, and leaves. Do you want to eat it?"
"My guts telling me that tastes like punishment."
"Yah, you have the audacity to be stubborn right now? You haven't eaten solid food the past few days you need it." I told him.
Jimin sulked before giving up. I went to the door to lock it and cover the glass with a cloth to avoid people witnessing some horror shit. I grabbed the tupperware that JK owns and uncovered it. What greeted me was an unpleasant looking dish.
Is this even edible? We will never know.
"You know it's not like I don't like it, but I think I really should buy you something outside." I pursed my lips. "I'll have a quick browse on your phone."
"I think I lost it."
"Nah, kook found your stuff and placed it all here," I shrugged. I grabbed his phone from the side table and ordered food online, I ordered soft food and healthy drinks.
"Hmm. I don't have money with me though," Jimin blinked when he noticed that I ordered a lot.
"I have," I showed him the money in my pocket.
"Seolma, isn't that the same money you stole before?"
I let out a nervous laugh. "What do you mean?"
"When I transferred to our university, I peeked to the glass door to check on what you guys are doing. But I was shocked when everyone's throwing money and I saw you grabbing something from the floor and it's 50,000 won too."
"Ah, yeah," I scratched my nape. "But I didn't just take it! I said thanks though!"
"Whatever you say," He cackled.
The delivery guy arrived and Jimin started to open the foods already. I was chilling on the couch when he signaled me to come closer.
"Let's eat." He answered.
"Ghosts can't eat," I replied.
"Sometimes I hate stereotypes."
"Dude, I seriously can't eat, it will just pass through me and make a mess on the floor. I can't control it."
"I know," he laughed. "I just..."
"What is it?"
His cheeks and ears turned red. "I-just-wanted-you-to-sit-closer-to-me-but-if-you-don't-want-to-it's-okay."
"Honey, what are we?" I asked that seem to catch him off guard.
"W-we're human beings."
I pouted. "You know exactly what I am talking about."
"Ugh, I just wanted to eat though." He protested.
I rolled my eyes before I grabbed the small couch and sat on his side. I watch him put a spoonful of rice before bringing it to his mouth, then slurped the soup. Why does his lip look so soft?
"Heol!" He shouted.
"Yah, don't shout during lunch! You almost gave me a heart attack, if mine's still beating!" I retorted back.
"This food just tastes so nice—" He smiled. "Wait, why are you looking at me like that?"
"I'm suddenly craving," I answered without thinking.
"I thought you can't eat food?" He furrowed his brows.
"Nah, I wasn't hungry because of food, it's because of something else..." I accidentally exposed myself. My eyes went wide before I slapped my cheeks to get back on my senses.
Dude just got better and I'm being like this. I have sinned. I must be drowned in holy water.
"Are you okay?" He cocked his head to the side.
I panicked. "Don't mind me, I'm just having an existential crisis. Just eat."
Jimin laughed and proceeded on eating. He ate all the food I've bought for him, and he looked satisfied. After an hour, both of us went silent. He was currently drinking the juice, while I was looking out of the window.
"Were you scared?" I opened up.
"Hmm... no," He answered. "I wasn't afraid when a group of men abducted us. I was only startled not scared."
I glanced at him.
He bit his lip. "I only got scared when... they said your name. I honestly didn't know why, but there's something in me that felt scared for you... I don't like the thought of you getting in trouble because of me."
I frowned. "What happened exactly?"
"It happened a few minutes after you left and followed the two ghosts you were interested in. Hoseok and I were eating peacefully when a group of men, just around our age, headed closer to us. Namjoon directly went to me and grabbed my neck. No other students saw it because the break was already done. They put tape on my mouth." He recalled. "Hoseok wasn't supposed to be kidnapped but because he was very loud they had to keep his mouth shut and decided to take him as well."
I rested my chin on my palm as he continue to say what he has gone through.
"When we were being dragged outside I saw someone watching us . . .
Jungkook was standing not so far away, he had a drink on his hand while he gaped at our direction. I assumed that he'll proceed with what he was doing, pretend nothing happened, but what happened was the total opposite.
"Jimin! Hoseok Hyung!" He yelled. "Where are you taking them fucktards!"
The kidnappers looked at him.
"Who do you think you are? I'm supposed to be the bad guy here. No one dares to snatch my position!" Jungkook threw his banana milk on someone's face before he fired on them. He managed to knock down two of his people with his kicks.
He was about to grab us when Namjoon stepped outside the van and shoved him away.
Jungkook suddenly flew away until his back hit the wall. My eyes went wide when I saw a tiny crack on it. That must've hurt a lot. "What the fuck, mate! I don't really like it when people do something on my back!" He shouted.
"Shut the fuck up!" Namjoon answered.
"I'm going to find you and fuck you up..."
That's the last thing I heard Jungkook said before the two of us were dragged in the van. Namjoon placed his hand on my face and I had no idea why he was doing it, after that, it felt like I was looking in the mirror.
He looked exactly like me.
We looked the same.
"What did you do!" I tried screaming but my voice was muffled by the tape.
"I'll take your place from now on," He smirked.
My eyes widened even more when he sounded like me.
Who are this people? What kind of people are they? Why would they kidnap us? Why is he pretending to be me? How did he do that? What are they planning to do!
Before I could even protest, his people snatched something from the side and hit my head with it that made me unconscious. The next thing I knew I don't have my uniform on, I was left with my shirt and short and we're locked underground." Jimin spoke.
"...When I tried to escape, one of his people saw me and beat me up. I think I've lost lots of blood because of him..."
"Honey... You really went through a lot," I bit my lip, controlling my voice not to crack.
"I'm relieved that they didn't get to harm you though." Jimin smiled. "Because if they did, I might really lose my mind."

I told Jimin everything that has happened when he was away, every details of what I did with Namjoon. "I swear, it was really hard for me to do that when he looks exactly like you. He even cried in front of me."
"What did you do to him?"
"I kinda, uhm, stabbed his neck and heart...?" I trailed.
"Oh good heavens, please don't do that in real life—I meant living people because that sounded so scary," He stated slowly. "But did he really managed to pretend to be me?"
"I knew it wasn't you from the start, the two of you act and talk different," I said. "Plus, his pronunciation with words sounded so intelligent like he's in a meeting or something. Like motherfucker? Are you the President's son or something? I swear everytime he opens his gotdamn mouth I always feel like I should be formal. If he's going to imitate someone, he should've done better! This is why I don't really like them fake ass bitches, and that was not a diss for you by the way."
"How could you know me so well," He snickered. "Ah, I should thank the people who helped us."
"Moonbin and Heejin are already away," I answered. "But I'm sure they know how thankful you are for them."
"What should I do? I wanted to thank them personally," Jimin pouted.
I looked at him and grinned. I wish I could keep him to myself—
"And Yeon-ah, before this situation. We both know how I've been an awful person to you." He spoke, "I don't deserve your kindness. I treated you so bad before, saying hurtful words but you're still here with me..."
"It's my choice," I told him. "You don't have to feel bad about it."
"I will protect you," He said with sincerity, making me frown a bit. "I don't even know why I'm feeling this, I just want you to know that I will protect you. Don't think this is paying back time, I promise you that this is how I actually feel."
"Are we finally friends?" I questioned.
Jimin bit his lip.
"Yah."
"You already know." He blushed.
"Say it, I'm slow."
"We've basically gone through a lot together..."
"So what are we?"
He rolled his eyes with a smile.
"Bitch, is it really that hard to admit that we're friends already? Come on say it, Ji, why are you being embarrassed, it's literally just the two of us and that fucking cockatoo on the window."
Jimin and I looked at the window. "How the hell did that even end up on the window!" He exclaimed.
"I don't know a ghost maybe!" I yelled.
"An animal has a soul too?"
"I don't know. I'm just new to this ghost thing don't ask me." I shrugged.
The two of us had eye contact before he looked away. "So yeah, hmm, w-we are what you want us to be. We're f-friends."
"Now that we've reached this level, let's aim for the next one," I announced.
"What is it?"
I smiled. "Friends with benefits."
He literally started to throw random things he finds at me. Even though I know it won't hit me, I pretend to avoid it and laughed. "Yah! I'm just messing around!"
I then controlled my power to be able to hold things. I was about to throw it back at him when a Bible hit my forehead.
"You need Jesus," Jimin spoke before he slumped back to his bed and covered his body.

We're finally friends! Can you believe it? After so many chapters he finally accepted my rotting friend request! I am officially friends with the cutest pink-haired boy in town!
"Dude, how are you?" He asked the moment we entered the class room.
Yeah, he can finally get back to the student life, although he still needs to rest a little more.
"I still can't forget what happened," Hoseok answered. "Someone kidnapped us! And I can't believe I was unconscious most of the time. Why do I always pass out when something happens?"
I sighed sadly and tapped his bad even though my hands don't touch him. "I hope you get better Hobi," I uttered. "You're surely traumatized by what happened, I hope you get better sooner. Stay strong, man."
Jimin stared at me as I said that. "You should take a break."
Ho-shook his head. "If I'll stay in the hospital, I'll just keep thinking about it. I need a distraction."
"We'll get through this together man." He tapped his back.
"J-Hopefully."
Here we go again with him calling his own name.
The two went silent for a moment when someone stepped in front of us. I looked up and saw how Jungkook threw a snobbish look before asking, "You guys okay?"
Jimin nodded. Hoseok tightly smiled. "Trying."
"Ok." He talked before getting back to his seat.
I pursed my lips as I study him, I noticed a little change in his physical appearance—his face looks like he's in peace. He would always have a crease on his forehead like he carries the weight of the world before, but now, he looks fine.
"Okay, I honestly think there is something wrong with him." Jimin trailed, "He sent me food every day when I was in the hospital."
"Oh? He did the same for me too," Hoseok smiled. "I was actually suspicious about it at first but when I tasted the food it actually tastes good. I thanked him multiple times through chat though."
"What's with his sudden change?"
"I heard from our classmates that he's trying to change now for the better." He shrugged.
"Really? Now here are three claps for you my dude." I exclaimed, clapping five times because he deserves it.
"They said something shocked him so much that he decided to go to the right path now," Hobi explained.
"Was it the kidnapping?" I asked.
"Maybe it was because of kidnapping," Jimin answered. "I saw how horrified he was."
"I'm liking the change though." Hoseok pointed out. "I really want to befriend him from the start. He's actually okay when you're alone, but with his friends, its as if he becomes another person."
"We stan a changed man." I praised.
Jimin looked at me before fixing himself for the class.
"Why do you keep looking at me?"
"Just boosting my motivation." He smiled.
Dude.
Let me get the marriage certificate real quick.
Not even halfway on the class and I can hear him whining. "I hate it here. Why do we even have to study Calculus? I quit."
"Motivation my ass." I cackled.
He turned to his back to face Hoseok, "Let's leave and eat quick. You up for it?"
"No thanks. The last time we ate, we got kidnapped."
I furrowed my brow. "Are you trying to ditch classes right in front of my salad?"
"Why, why? I'll live until 100." He pouted. "Let me have fun for 2-3 years."
"Dumbass, you'll live a tough life because you wasted 2-3 years."
His eyes widened in realization. "I feel like I have heard of that quote before."
"I don't know," I shrugged. "My mom once told me that. She probably saw it on a Facebook post I don't know man."
He glanced at me with a determined look, "Alright. I'll study really hard from now on, I will try to be a good student like you Yeon-ah!"
"Yes! You can make me your inspiration if you want."
He bit his lip. "You already are."
The two are still recovering. Jungkook is a changed man. The professors I once liked, Moon Taeil and Sohn Hyunwoo are gone (sadly). Damnjoon and his folks are somewhere not really nice—Reaper said that they were being interrogated by Deities underworld.
There's no more drama and thriller stuff.
I can finally lay back in peace.
For a moment.
