ㅤㅤI was literally gaping at Jungkook when someone attacked me from the back, I immediately grabbed his arm and smash him on the ground out of reflex. "Why did you have to startle me like that? Can't you calm down a little there's a whole drama in front of us!"

When I get to see his face, it felt like I remembered every single detail on how I died.

"W-what..."

"Look who we have here," He rolled his tongue on his lip piercing.

"You... I've been searching for you I didn't know you were dead..." I pointed to him. He snickered before he stood up.

"Is this a reunion? Nice to meet you again, Jayeon-ssi."

The truck driver who was related to my death is standing in front of me. Unlike his innocent aura before, I see a different person in front of me.

He has changed.

"Min Yoongi." I couldn't look at his eyes.

He was imprisoned because of me. I honestly feel guilty whenever I get reminded of him, he didn't do anything wrong. It was all my fault. I remember writing on the papers and the walls that he's innocent but the police still placed him to jail. I couldn't do anything about it.

"What if I tell you something." He spoke, making me frown.

"What is it?" I asked.

"If only you watched your back carefully, you will know the truth."

If you watched your back.

Watch your back.

My head spun for a while. His voice sounded very familiar.

"To end your confusion, yes it was me." He answered. "I was the one who was following you back then. I finally get to see you again in a pleasant state after a long time, so I might as well make a thrilling greeting. Don't get me wrong though, that time I still didn't know that Namjoon was after you."

"Yoongi, I'm sorry," I told him.

He snickered. "I forgive you."

"What?" I frowned.

"Hey, this is not the right time to talk about that! For your information, there's a bigger picture here!" Seokjin interrupted. "Let's focus on this motherfuckers before you have a chitchat!"

I looked at Yoongi and he boyishly nodded. "Do it."

"You sure?"

"Do it. I pretty much don't know what will I do in myself after this. Do whatever you want."

"Okay, dude..." I uncertainly placed a handcuff on him.

Then I went to the scene and gripped Namjoon's collar. "Where are they?"

Jungkook asked as well, "Where is JiHope?"

TF IS JIHOPE?

"Six feet under the ground folk, located in a very sunny spot. I picked a perfect place for his body," He smirked.

"Motherfucker I'm not joking around with you!" I screamed.

At the very moment, Jungkook grabbed something and directly hit his head with the paddle causing him to lose his consciousness.

"DAMN COCO!" I gasped. "Why'd you do that!"

His squad gasped as well, asking him what has gotten to his mind.

"In the end, you just destroy the things you didn't like, right?" He whispered.

But why do I feel like he wasn't destroying just because he wanted to?

Do I see guilt in his eyes?

I was furious. I begged the other souls and Yoongi to tell me where they are but they won't. "Friends... I promise you I will rescue you from the grips of that devil here..." I was close to snap Namjoon's head when Moonbin came up to me and said that they are really underground.

In the cellar.

I promptly departed underground and hollered when I saw him.

"Honey..."

Jimin was hopelessly laying on the floor, his eyes were blindfolded while his wrist and ankles were tied painfully. I covered half my face as I looked at him. "J-jimin-ah..."

I took all of it off while I try not to whimper. I miss him.

I miss him so much I don't know how to explain it.

"J...Jimin, I miss you..."

His eyes were half-open. "Y-Yeon... hmmm... y-you're here..."

"Yes I'm here, I'm sorry I couldn't save you sooner."

In the past few days without his presence, I realized something.

I understood what people really mean to each other.

"I'm h-happy you're s-safe..." He managed to let a small smile before he fluttered his eyes closed. I was so frustrated that I couldn't hold him, all I could do was cry.

Then I caught a glimpse of a person on his side who was sleeping, he undoubtedly passed out. "Hoseok!" I took the things off him as well, "I'm sorry, I was late..."

I composed my hand and carry the two. I was holding Jimin in front of me, while my other friend was on the back. I softly positioned them down on the floor when I heard an outcry from the distance. I looked up and saw a person frantically running in our direction.

"Jimin, Hoseok hyung!" Jungkook cried. "Please don't die! I don't know how to live without you two!"

"Seriously, that should be my line though," I hissed.

"I'm sorry if I was an ass. I know I committed a lot of sins but I'll change for you!" He pledged.

I looked at Seokjin who was filming us.

"Cut the camera deadass."

I was ugly crying, except that there were no tears because I'm a soul, when we finally arrived in the hospital. The two were both in the emergency room. Hoseok woke up with a few bruises, while Jimin was unconscious and his body was covered with blood, scrapes, and dirt. He was awfully abused.

"Please save him! Save him please I'm begging you!" I cried.

The professionals encircled around him and checked something before they take him to a private room.

"Noona, calm down." Moonbin tried to soothe me down.

"He's going to be okay, I'm sure of that," Heejin added. They both hugged me as I weep on their shoulders.

Please be okay.

As we were waiting patiently, the two spoke. "Jayeon noona, we're finally done stopping the leader of the bad souls. You're safe, and Jimin hyung will be okay. I think we should go back to where we came from and wait for the Grim Reaper."

I sadly sighed. "You're leaving already..."

"Yes."

"It was nice meeting you, Noona!"

"Thank you for your help, Heejin, and Moonbin. If it weren't for you I will not have any idea about them. You guys are not bad souls at all, you traveled really far just to alert and help me. That's not bad people do, you are good people." I smiled sadly. "Thank you for saving us."

"Honestly, we're actually trying to live an honest life now. If it's not too late yet..."

"Bitch we know it's too late," Heejin added.

The three of us snickered.

"Goodbye and take care of your journey. I will be forever thanking you both." I smiled.

"Bye, noona!"

"Let's all meet again someday."

I am now in a private room, preoccupied with looking at Jimin, when I heard a soft thump on the door. I glanced over and saw two people taking a peek first before finally heading in. I was inspecting them when the two went near and talked, "Hello. Were you the one who has been taking care of him?"

Who are they?

I blinked.

Perhaps, are they talking to me?

"Yes, I am talking to you."

I bowed first. "Sorry, but who are you?"

"I'm his Grandmother," She smiled.

She can see me too?

I looked at the man on the side and he bowed at me, which I did also.

"I'm his brother. My name's Park Hyungsik."

Goddamn. His whole family can see ghosts!

"Uh, nice to meet you brother in law—I mean brother of my future friend Park Jimin. Damn this real-life autocorrect." I grimaced.

"We're glad to meet you too, Jayeon." He smiled. My eyes widened. "I actually heard a lot of things about you."

Pause. Are you telling me Jimin out here gossiping me with y'all?

Hyungsik laughed. "Why do you look constipated? He just said you're a good soul."

"Thank God, I thought he said something weird. I swear I don't thirst over him." I cleared the allegation.

"And he also said that he—"

The grandma quickly covered his mouth. "He didn't say anything more." The two exchanged weird looks before they showed a nervous smile.

I scratched my nape as I smiled at them, "Uh. I'll be outside."

"Thank you for your help, darling." He smiled.

His grandmother also gave me a warm smile. "Thank you, granddaughter."

I grinned and went outside.

Them genes.

I want to be a part of it.

I clutched my chest as I try not to smile so wide. I just met his family. A huge step for being friends. "Oh yeah, bitch we're getting there." I was about to sob when I noticed someone eye's staring at me. "Ah, he surprised me. My baby almost dropped out of my womb."

I saw Seokjin staring at me from the information desk. He was basically judging my actions earlier. I rolled my eyes and walked near to him. "I thought you left already."

"I had to greet his family first."

"Who?"

"Jimin's family." He explained. "His family and I are close, we meet every time Jimin gets trouble with a ghost. They've been treating me as a family too, I didn't know you know him! I thought the boy we were saving just happens to have the same name as him!"

"Well," I shrugged with a proud smirk.

"So that's why your name was so familiar to me." He spoke. "Have you met his family before?"

I shook my head. "Oh—no. It's my first time seeing them."

"Actually, they were the family that I've told you before. Back when I was still faking being a grim reaper, except that they can't touch souls."

"Speaking of, why did you even pretend?" I frowned.

"To be honest, I just like messing around with souls, and I have no work at that time so I might as well converse with you without knowing my actual identity." He smirked. "Ah, I just remembered what Jimin said about you before."

"What's up with him and telling me to everyone. What did he say?" I asked, really eager about the topic.

"He said..." Seokjin trailed. "You're one of the ugly ghosts he had ever seen."

I whined.

"Which I don't agree though." He added.

"I know—"

"You're not just ugly, you are the ugliest."

"Well fuck you, too."

"I can feel the love in the air." He clutched his chest. "But seriously, although Jimin looks snob he actually cares for you. He's bad at expressing his emotions, I've been watching that kid grow up since he was just a child so I know how he thinks."

"What are you? His father?" I snorted.

"No. I'm his father's whore."

I laughed. "Fuck off."

He also let out a laugh. "I hope the best for the both of you."

"Huh? What?"

"I'm feeling something that might happen sooner," He tightly smiled. "If it goes on, I hope you are happy."

"Bitch, what do you mean?"

"If I'm not the Grim Reaper who is assigned to you, I'll make sure to speak with them and extend your stay for a while." He said.

I remained silent as I furrow my brows. "I have no idea of what you're talking about."

He shrugged. "Just wait, you'll know it soon."

"My ass can't wait no more. Bruh, just spill it or I will keep thinking about it every second. Do you want me to suffer? Yah."

"Bro, why is your mouth so loud!" He grimaced.

"Bitch, I'll keep bothering you if you really don't say it!" I laughed but it died down when he turned serious.

He lowered his head a bit to match my height before he talked again, "Jayeon-ah... I know I shouldn't be saying this now but I think there is something wrong with me... I want to be a good friend to you but I'm thinking of something not nice."

"Yah... What is it?"

"When you're looking like this, there's something pushing me to do it... But I won't, and I will try hard not to do it." He said staring at me. "...I will try my best just to continue being a friend for you even if it..."

"What are you saying? I'm kinda dumb with understanding people..."

"Nevermind. I just want to say you look more like you when you're happy..." He smiled. "So beautiful... And I mean it this time."

And then he was gone.

I was left on the corridor of the hospital, still stunned. That was completely shocking.

"I can't believe he really said that." I shook my head.

What a lame dude.

I look beautiful?

I stood for a complete 5 minutes thinking about it.

People really find me beautiful?

Really?

Wow this is the first someone believes it aside for my ex, family, and me.

I sat on the waiting blocks, gradually looking at Jimin's room, waiting for his family to come out.

As I was staring in the hallway, my eyes caught a glimpse of souls walking by. Most of them are crying, looking lost, and depressed. This is why I don't like hospitals.

It has saved some people but lost a lot. I don't hate the medical professionals, I know the lives aren't based on their hands, it's just this building radiates despair. I can remember how hard my family wept in the hospital because of me.

I couldn't help but cry.

"Hey... Are you okay? I couldn't leave when I saw you crying," Seokjin appeared in front of me again. He looked worried.

"I'm fine," I choked.

"No, you're not. What's wrong?"

"Its just... my memories in hospitals aren't really pleasant."

He stayed silent before he spoke again, "I hate it here, most of the souls I've guided to the afterlife are from the hospitals."

"Why do you hate it?" I questioned.

"I hate the smell."

I made a face. "What?"

"That's it." He shrugged, "I hate the smell of hospitals. It smells like rubbing alcohol, chemicals, and people's breath."

"Bitch, I thought there was a deep reason."

"Excuse you, but that was deep for me." He narrowed his eyes and then finally took a seat next to me.

"Why are you sitting down?" I asked.

"It's not like I'm sitting on your lap. This is my chair." He sassed.

I chuckled silently. "You know I appreciate your presence right now."

"I know. If I were you I'd say the same too. You just get a conversation with the world wide handsome." He smirked.

"And you're having a talk with the next Asia's top model." I flipped my hair.

"You're so narcissistic." He made a face.

"I just love myself."

"Oh same here," He laughed. "You know, most of the time the two of us talk and think the same. It scares me a bit."

"To be honest whenever I see you, I feel like I see me. And when I see myself, I feel like I'm seeing you." I jested. "We are like one."

"Maybe we're soulmates."

I stopped. "Maybe not."

Is it possible to have lots of soulmates?

Because I think one is enough.

And I already found someone.

"They're heading out," Seokjin cleared his throat. Looking at the Park family who was done settling fruits for Jimin. "You can go now while I rot in here."

"Why are you being dramatic."

"I'm not! Just go."

I rolled my eyes before I leaned at him. "You know Seokjin, you're a great and lovely friend. I'm thankful I saw you in the park because I get to meet a being like you. Thank you for all of your help. You're the best."

He blinked at me. "What?"

"I'm not repeating it." I laughed.

"Yah!"

"See you around, Kim Seokjin!"

"Can you stop shouting my whole name?" He yelled. "I'm not used to it!"

"Got it, Seokjin!"

I headed towards Jimin's room and bidded goodbye to his family. They said their appreciation and told me that they're going back to Busan because they have to do something important.

I couldn't help but think that they trust me enough to watch over him.

I looked down and saw Jimin resting peacefully. He had lots of bruises on his face and body that makes me feel miserable. "Please get better, honey."

I reached for the handkerchief on his table, placed it on his hand, and put my hand above it. I'm holding his hand indirectly, yet I couldn't feel it.

I can only feel the texture of the objects I hold on to.

"I'm sorry I wasn't able to protect you."

I lay my head to the free space of his bed and closed my eyes. I stayed like that for hours just hearing his soft breathing.

"Jimin," I whispered, holding his hand a bit tighter. "There are a lot of things I want us to do together, so please get better sooner."
