Chapter 22: Home
Oh how it was such a warm and shining day. A day for change, for growth. It was finally the time for Hideyoshi Shinsou, formerly known as Shun Renora, to check out of the hospital. Although his wounds were still considered great, so much so that he can't even wear all of his prosthetics as of this point in time; It took a great amount of time and therapy to train his new set of lungs for the day they could work without aid. Many would think, thanks to his situation, Hide can't go home but he has to go somewhere right? It came as a surprise to everyone, especially Hide himself, once Mr. Aizawa and Principal Nezu offered the boy a place at UA. Not just a place to call home, but as a school to attend. Hide's mentor is now his teacher AND he's sharing a classroom with his friend, sister and 'brother' Hitoshi. Yeah, Shun's still heavily adjusting from going by Shun to Hide but it's a work in progress. It's like his dream was coming true one step at a time even though... Even though the only way he got here was by hurting everyone he loved along the way.
"We're here!" All Might exclaimed as he escorted the purple haired boy from the hospital, a long car ride, and a leisurely walk all the way up to class 1. A.'s Dormitory. Although Hide's been here a thousand times before, this time wasn't like all the others. He didn't trudge all the way across the city to share a few hugs and laughs with his sister, spend quality time with a friend or train until he's sweating bullets. This time, the roughed up teenager came here without any intention of leaving. His name engraved on a door, a bed made just for him, Hide could safely say that he was here to stay.
All Might, a man who's seen more than a million expressions from the lives he's saved over the course of his career, could feel placidity radiate from Hide's crimson orbs for he couldn't peel them from the building. The elder, of whom wasn't familiar with Hide on any personal level, understood exactly how he must feel on so many levels. He daringly tapped Hide on the shoulder with a slender hand. Flinching, the violet haired male hissed in response. Despite how many layers of bandages encapsulated his wounds, just the slightest amount of pressure was like a knife being penetrated through himself again. Yet somehow, they both knew it wasn't something to fret for too long. "How does it feel, young man?" All Might had begun to scratch at the back of his neck awkwardly thanks to his mistake. "All those dreams of yours coming true!" his voice boasted out with delight.
The biggest surprise of all came when All Might heard a little chuckle flee from Hide's lips. "Just like you said..." Their gazes met. "It really is a dream come true. Not as much as meeting an idol you though." And I thought meeting Mr. Aizawa for the first time was a big deal! I'd be shitting bricks right now if I could!
"Ha ha! I never really hear that anymore! Much appreciated young Hide!" Well... That's what retirement does All Might.
"It feels sort of wrong though..." Hide's gaze returned to the ground. Like a heavy fog, it sat low within his stomach without any signs of moving on.
"What does?" All Might hummed. "Most kids your age would kill to be where you're at."
That's the exact problem here. "There's a target on my family and... I'm given the royal treatment?" The question struck the elder somewhere else, somewhere deep. If words could cut, these could. "As much as I've worked and dreamt of going here... I can't help but feel I don't belong," and he can't even bring up how he's the reason everything's being doused in flames. Or... Would All Might actually be the perfect person to talk to about this sort of thing? He's fought villains of all kinds, maybe even the ones he's actually regret putting behind bars. Hide's talked about this with Midoriya a million times but it's not helping all that much.
All Might somewhat understood where Hide was coming from, "I've seen you work alongside your peers. I also know just how highly Aizawa, Nezu, (Y/n) and Young Midoriya speak of you, you belong here more than you think."
How many times do I need to say it? I don't belong here!!! I WAS a villain, I've KILLED people, I HELPED the very organization who's trying to kill me and my family. I realized all of my wrongdoings too late yet I'm being treated like a human? Why didn't I just die then? Why did I have to be saved? "I felt fine up until now why... Why am I upset now? Out of nowhere?"
"I can ask you the same thing," All Might frets with caution. "You look like you're about to pass out. Should I sit you down or-"
"N-No I'm just thinking about how I'm gonna have to explain everything to my peers. I'm sure they're worried sick about me," and here I go lying again. I can lie to just about anyone and they'd take it for truth. I mean... I'm sure everyone in the dorm is worried about me but... I couldn't give a rat's ass how they feel. I don't wanna be here but it's not like I have a choice... "Let's just head in. Gotta face the crowd sooner or later. Thank you for carrying my arm all the way here. I'm sure it weighs a ton," because Hide can't wear one of his prosthetic arms for the time being because one of his shoulders got stabbed, All Might decided to carry the limb. But it seems weightless to the man, tucked beneath his arm, even in his scrawny toothpick form, so it must not weigh as much as he originally thought.
"Oh this thing," All Might went into his powered form for a brief second, all to flex his round bounty of muscles and hold the mechanical limb over his head. The flow of crimson flooding his chest cavity, something All Might's a little too familiarized with come the recent years, forced his body to succumb! From steam to sputtering red! The former Number One had fled from existence to be replaced with guttural coughs. "This thing isn't that heavy kiddo," All Might resumed to hack out his lungs as if it were a normality. "That's what I get for showing off..."
Hide couldn't believe his eyes. "Y-You're coughing blood!"
"It's actually pretty normal coming from me," the man reassured.
"I've faced death more times than I can count. You're dying. It's not funny." It's one thing to say you got one foot in the grave but to say 'This is normal' is the least 'normal' thing anyone could say!!!
Hide was glaring at the blonde. Yet, All Might spun everything around for he stood tall and proud belting out his iconic laugh. "Why yes, I am dying. But why fret over it? I really can't keep myself from it, nobody can, but I've lived this long and I'm not gonna keep myself from enjoying life until my time comes," just when All Might had thought he deescalated the situation, Hide's features proclaimed the exact opposite. "Hey kid..." All Might sighed. "I know things might be tough right now. You're probably thinking 'I can't do this. I can't go on for much longer.' Much like me, You've made it through every other year in your life up till now. Surely you can make it through this one too. All you gotta do is stay determined," and at last, from Hide's sense of understanding, All Might knew he finally made it through to the young pupil. "Young Hide, Instead of thinking you shouldn't be here, think of what you have. The ability to eat, breathe, talk, having a loving sister and friends. Appreciate what you have Shun, cause you never know when you may lose it."
"I guess... You're right," Hide stepped forward with a sigh that lifted the weights from off his shoulders. It was as if All Might had read his new student's mind. This talk was everything he needed to pull forward, if only just enough, to be more welcoming of this new position. There's always someone who has it worst, and those who aren't grateful for what they have. "All Might..."
"Yes?"
"I want to see the class."
"No need to wait for me!" All Might waved erratically. "Go right on ahead!"
"Okay?" Hide trudged up the final stretch, mere inches from the dormitory entrance. Just beyond these doors are his new classmates, his peers, the people he'd be calling family now. Beyond the doors, he could hear the thrilled howls of excitement of many. At first, Hide assumed the excitement was over his return, but then he remembered how his move in date was completely out of the blue, how would the class even be aware that he's even here? That was all left to his imagination as he finally opened up the heavy door of the dormitory with the one hand he had only to realize the entire class was either fighting one another or rooting them on with gusto. "I'm not complaining, I love a good fight, but is this even allowed?" Hide asked openly hoping someone could answer him. He's still unsure of who's fighting and why, he just knows there's someone with red hair in the mix.
"Um..." All Might occupied the space at Hide's side with the most horror stricken face the teenager's ever seen. "I thought Shouta was in charge while I went and got you..." Oh how life is full of disappointments.
"I am," Mr. Aizawa approached the boys with little Eri in his arms. Many would think the girl is a bit old or big for this sort of thing, but the boys didn't dare to mention the subject. "Some of the students asked if they could have a fight for fun. No quirks, all physical. If anything gets too rough, the rest of the class agreed to step in and break-" Mr. Aizawa was interrupted with Eri desperately tugging at his collar. "What is it Eri?" Mild annoyance laced his voice.
Eri's crimson eyes locked on Hide, they were shrunken almost shaking. Shit... Hide thought. I never realized that the little girl Aizawa adopted was the one Overhaul was experimenting on. I saw this little girl then when Shigaraki traded me for a little bit. We never talked or anything but... I'm scared she recognizes me. I've never seen a little kid be so terrified of me. I don't like it...
Eri's gaze wouldn't let up, until she pointed at him suddenly. Not towards him but, something that wasn't there at all. "Are you okay?" Eri spoke in an airy whisper. Or, at least it came out as one over the ear splitting uproar of students. "You're missing your arm. Are you hurt?" Eri was searching for an answer, a confirmation that he was okay. Even her voice was soft with care.
For once, Hide felt relieved at the mention of such. "I-I'm perfectly fine," Hide fought off his stutter. Stuttering? He only does that after using his quirk too much. "You see Eri... Because I was a hero and saved people, my arms sort of had to say goodbye," he lifted his hand enough to rest within Eri's. She traced the mechanical joints and manually moved his fingers. "If it means I'd have to die to save someone, I'd do it in a heartbeat."
"You sound like a great person... Like Deku and Mirio," Eri flashed a heartwarming smile.
Hide himself was stunned by her words as to be ranked with Midoriya of all people. "Looks like I'm getting love and support by everyone today."
"You're crying," Eri gasped.
"Eri," Aizawa bellowed. "It's never okay to point that out."
"No no it's fine Sensei!" Hide wiped up one of stray tears in the back of his mechanical hand. "I felt horrible coming here but now I feel the best I have in a long time even though I still feel like crap physically." I got stabbed three times, the wounds still haven't healed over, breathing still isn't a walk in the park either. Again how am I out of the hospital?
"Little kids present," All Might suggested that his word choice wasn't the best.
"Sorry..."
The moment wasn't long lived as the teenagers of the room all simultaneously gasped at the same time, darted in one of two directions, before someone crash landed into one of the dormitory tables destroying it as a whole with pieces flying! The room was silent as everyone surrounded the student in question. Hide too found himself mimicking the crowd as to get a good look. He has no idea who lost the match let alone who was part of it until he finally got a glimpse at the unfortunate loser: Shoto Todoroki. His face all scrunched up to the pain he endured as he lied upon his back. Well, Shoto losing isn't that much of a surprise considering Hide too has won in an all brawn fight before. But who won?
"You know you weren't kidding," Hide recognized that voice from anywhere as he found his very own sister strolling up to her battered boyfriend. Her cheek was splotched with black and blue, shirt tattered and torn at the seams, fists too were sporting welts, puffy and bruised beyond compare. "You really do rely on your quirk too much Shoto! That fight wasn't that challenging but I give you an A for effort," enough with the gloating, the girl squats down and flashes her boyfriend a reassuring smile. "How hurt are you?"
Shoto lets out an overbearing sigh, yet, he hasn't moved a muscle. "I'll be fine," he sat up without resistance although his face said otherwise. From bruises to cuts to a gnarly black eye that swelled to the point you'd fear his eye could pop right out! Shoto was the living definition of a human punching bag and that was only his face. Shoto's head bobbed suddenly, like a fishing bobber to water, did he just pass out for a second? "No... Screw this!" Shoto snapped. "I'm going to the nurse."
"Could be like the last time I beat you up," (Y/n) shrugged in an attempt to avoid the truth.
"It IS just like last time." And the king of snarkiness is back!
"At least you're actually standing on your own this time."
Shoto's eyes, or eye, narrowed in on her, "I'm not even standing."
"We've established that you rely too much on your quirk while I'm the exact opposite! Let this be a lesson for everyone," because (Y/n) wanted to get off the topic as soon as possible. Shoto was right, about everything. Although, to be fair, the last time Shoto explicitly said that he wasn't gonna fight back because he was determined to be his beloved's punching bag when she needed to let off some steam. "Wait..." (Y/n) hummed. "Why did we fight again?"
Many of their peers facepalmed. "It started when you wanted to fight Bakugou... Remember?"
"Oh yeah," (Y/n) hummed. "I totally forgot that he wanted a fight months ago!"
"And it's not gonna happen," Mr. Aizawa stepped in as he handed Eri over to All Might. "If you hadn't broken the table, I would've been alright with it but someone has to pay for the table." And now Bakugou was fuming like crazy. (Y/n) only fought Shoto to warm up and to prove a point, now no one can fight.
"Just let them have their fight," Shoto got up from the ground, still swaying. "I'll pay for any damages if it's that much of a problem," Because my family is loaded anyways and she's been looking forward to it for a long time.
"Much appreciated," Aizawa bowed his head. "Still not happening."
"Why does all the bad shit always happen to me!?!" Bakugou was folded in on himself screaming into the floor in a blind rage.
"I'd rather us have a class exercise where you fight one another. At least that way I WON'T get in trouble." Why didn't Mr. Aizawa say that from the get go?
"Fine," Bakugou stood up. "But you better put me and her together!"
Aizawa put a hand in Bakugou's frenzy of hair and manually moved him to the side through his hair alone, "When the time comes."
"FUCK!!!"
"I'd like to fight you with quirks eventually though," (Y/n) snaked an arm around Shoto's waist. Although it wasn't the first time she's done this, she can't shake how bony his hips were today and that his body kept shuddering. "Oh geez just how badly did I hurt you? Are you really hurt or not used to pain?" No answer. "Should I call an ambulance instead or-"
"I'll agree to anything, just take me to the nurse..." Shoto mimicked (Y/n) as he clung to her desperately for support. His fingers were digging into her hips and each little motion had his groan and hiss.
"I swear you're such a baby right now."
Yeah, you can tell she used to date my dad. "Says the one who's barely hurt," he retorts.
"Fair enough."
"Before you leave," Mr. Aizawa spoke, sharing a mutual glance with the class lovebirds before stepping away and taking a deep breath in. "Even though most of you already know him, starting today, you'll be sharing a class with someone new," the ravenette motioned at Hide and most of the class was in awe. "Most of you know him as Shun, (Y/n)'s brother. News to you, the League of Villains have targeted him and almost managed to assassinate him. He'll be living with us and engaging in your classes from today on under a different name... Welcome Hideyoshi Shinsou to the class. Do your best as to help him out during this hard time."
"HA!" Kaminari slung an arm around Hitoshi's neck. "So what, you're really owning the fact you guys are practically twins now?"
"That's precisely what's going on..." Hitoshi regrets to admit.
Ashido suddenly flees from the group, taking the attention of many. "Crap..." Was all Hide had to say.
"Talk with her later," (Y/n) spoke up. Hide couldn't peel his eyes from the hallway of which the pink girl disappeared within. "Shun- I MEAN Hide," (Y/n) clearly hasn't gotten used to calling her brother by a different name. "Ashido hasn't been the same. We haven't been able to get to her."
"As far as I know," Hide allowed his head to hang low. "She practically watched me die right in front of her. Also," he turned to Shoto and (Y/n). "If it makes you two more comfortable, keep calling me Shun. Just remember to call me Hide in public."
"Do you not like the name?" (Y/n) asked.
"I'm not very keen on the idea of a name change," he shrugged. After All, I refused to pick out a name in the first place. "The new name came from someone important to me. So I'll learn to respect it."
"Was it Touya?" (Y/n) hummed. Has Shun even talked to Touya once since the accident? Actually, I highly doubt it. Way to leave your best friend high and dry bro!!!
Hide physically shuddered at the mention of his friend's name coming out from her mouth. Midoriya really wasn't joking when he said (Y/n) was dealing with a 'rat' from the League. "N-No..."
"Then it has to be Midoriya," Shoto figured with ease.
Was it that obvious? "Yeah..."
"You know what," (Y/n) caressed Hide's cheek gently with one hand. "I'm really happy Midoriya treated you great while I couldn't bring myself to visit you..."
"(Y-Y/n)!" Hide gasped towards the sight of tears fleeing the corners of her eyes. "Don't cry over me. I... I put myself into this mess and I'm sorry you're all caught up in it."
"I care about you dude..." (Y/n) pulled Shoto close. She can't imagine losing Shoto or her brother. "I wasn't there for you when you needed me most."
"That's what you're upset about?" His shoulders slumped. "I couldn't care less if you visited me. I'm just happy you're alive in general."
"It's what siblings do..." Shoto glared at the boy. "Something you clearly should understand-"
"Shoto not now-"
"No!" Hide tuts. "No, No, what was he gonna say? Your boyfriend has quite a smart mouth on him doesn't he?"
"Touya Todoroki," Shoto spoke, his voice full of poison. A never wavering gaze that could kill.
Hide finally saw the full picture. Screw everything from nearly dying to endangering his own family, this was a matter he really had no business keeping hidden. "You knew MY Touya was also... Yours?" He feared for the future to come.
"The fact you knew and never told me," just as Hide suspected, everything was biting him in the ass now.
"I'm sorry," he meant it. Every word. (Y/n) and Shoto somehow knew it was genuine and it rattled their bones. "I wanted to tell you okay? I was only respecting Touya's wishes. He just wants to make sure his family continues to assume he's dead. Hate me if you want but I-"
"I'm talking to him again and that's all that matters," Shoto's head bobbed again. "(Y/n) please get me to the nurse..."
"Don't pass out on me!!!" The girl dragged him away.
"That's the guy who saved me?" Hide found just about everything hard to believe. One second, Shoto can be sweet. The next, he's the biggest jerk in the room. Hide can see how his sister came to love him, but again, he's the jerk who saved him nearly a month ago...
Just about everyone went their own way thanks to all the conflict. But Midoriya was one of few who stuck around, "Todoroki's been on edge lately. Give him time." Midoriya managed to grin before his friend. A smile like that was everything the boy needed at a time like this. "He's only trying to help you and (Y/n). It's so sweet how much he loves her. If anything, I think you've brought them closer together. Don't you think?"
Bring them closer together? Oh yeah... Because they've been working together to bring down the League of Villains, of course they'd be closer than before. "They are working together to bring down the organization that tried to kill me..." And once again Hide's being as pessimistic as ever.
"Again just give them time," Midoriya hummed. As much as he wanted to think about Todoroki's envious relationship, he had other things on the mind. "Mind my questions but..." Midoriya began to point, then retract his hand as he thought his question was inappropriate, then figured the damage was already done and pointed once more all the while whipping out his latest notebook. "Hey Hide, how weird is it running around with just one arm? Do you walk lopsided? Is anything difficult for you or do you adapt? Do you have a dominant arm? Is THAT your dominant arm? Are you ambidextrous?" And Midoriya kept blabbering on.
Hide looked down on himself, he totally forgot about having one arm on. "Not weird at all..." He admits. Although the most weird part of this conversation was Midoriya himself. This was his first encounter with Midoriya's fanboy endless question mode. "I try not to walk lopsided, but it happens. I adapt, I'm ambidextrous but prefer my left arm."
"Really?" Midoriya tilts his head in an arguably cute manner. "You're so cool!"
Hide etched the picture into his head. "I've been with arms on and off for the last year or two... I have to adapt to things somehow."
"Sorry I sort of forgot."
Midoriya doesn't have a good memory does he? "Says the guy who literally spoon fed me for weeks..."
All healed up, Shoto and (Y/n) were talking over their plans for the near future. From Dabi visits, to the League of Villains, from what to do tonight. The happy couple agreed to do a little bit of everything. That's why they reached out to a third party where they all agreed to meet up together at one place: The Todoroki estate. Luckily for them, Enji was working in another city with Hawks on the Renora investigation, Natsuo and Fuyumi aren't home as they have lives of their own although they are known to drop in frequently. Not only was meeting up at the Todoroki household the safest decision they've come up with yet, but it's also the smartest.
It was well after dusk, the sky was black without a star to be seen. Arriving as late as ever, Dabi stood just outside the cemented fencing of the Todoroki estate. He felt stuck, as his turquoise eyes carefully etched every little feature the grand home had to offer. "Talk about a trip down memory lane..." Dabi spoke as he allowed a long exhale of air to pass his nostrils. Haven't been here since I was a child... Shoto was only four or five when I left. Has it really been ten years? "Touya's dead. I'm only here for business," Dabi put himself back on the right track as he passed up the estate's fencing and entered the household as he was extra cautious as to not look at anything for too long for it'd bring back the memories he's long buried.
The household was dead, most of the lights were dimmed or off altogether. Dabi strolled around relentlessly, until he began to follow the faint trail of a male and female voices to the estate's kitchen. "Can you make me some tea?" Dabi could hear his kid brother ask of whom he assumed to be his girlfriend.
"Again?" The girl snickered. "Do you ask for tea whenever you can?" There's times when she wishes she never introduced him to her mother's recipes from long ago. But it is oddly cute all at the same time.
"Isn't it a good thing that I like your tea?"
"Well it's not a bad thing," (Y/n) set aside a kettle of water on the nearby stove and lit the burner. Once the metal was piping red hot, she sat the kettle atop and closed the spout to prevent steam from escaping. "Tell me Shoto, what do you like to do besides eat soba, visit your mom, sleep and drink tea? We're normally doing things I like to do or you're taking me someplace new. Until Dabi gets here, or until he leaves, we should do something you like."
Shoto, sitting upon his knees at the table, took a second to think. "I like dancing."
"Dancing?" (Y/n) hummed. "I really don't take you as the dancing type. Actually, I don't take you as a physical guy in general but your body says differently." A sixteen year old with a six pack and more than enough muscles to go around, yeah, he's the Number One's son that 's for sure. Not that (Y/n)'s complaining either. She'd happily sit back and watch him awake or asleep anyday.
"You know that performance the class put on just before you came out of the ice?"
"Um..." She tapped her chin. "Isn't it the one you showed me on the internet?" Well duh!!! Damn that was such a stupid question. What other performance would he be talking about?
"Yeah," Shoto confirmed her suspicions. "It was actually my idea."
"Well," (Y/n) tuts. "Show me some of your moves then!"
"Not unless you're joining me."
(Y/n)'s eyes went large like a deer in headlights. Shoto feared she was seeing a ghost, until the flesh of her face flooded in dusty shades of pinks and red. "N-No..." She shifted her attention back onto the tea that was brewing on the burner.
Did I... Say something? Shoto straightened himself up from the floor and joined her side. Because (Y/n) was ignoring his presence, he began to hover. I don't understand what's going on... The young man hesitantly rested a lone hand upon the girl's hip, "What's wrong? Please tell me"
She sighs, "I don't dance... I find it scary."
"Dance with me then."
"No!" She protests.
"Not like anyone's gonna see besides me," And with that point in mind, (Y/n) finally found the strength to peel her eyes from the kettle upon the stove and stare into Shoto's soulful orbs that held such understanding and lost herself within. "We don't have to do anything big, just follow me," with a careful hand, Shoto peeled (Y/n)'s hands from the counter's edge. His hands lied upon her plush hips, one hot, one cold, as he captured them. "Now lie your hands on my shoulder-" (Y/n) lashed out and instead trapped his body in a viper's hold. Nevertheless, Shoto went with the flow with a mildly amused snicker. He rocked their bodies together from left to right. "I thought you weren't afraid of anything."
"Enji used to be sweet and all..." She sighed heavily. "I used to beg for him to dance with me but he'd always shame me for it."
"Am I a fiery piece of shit?"
"No but..."
"But what?" Shoto pulled (Y/n) closer to his body by her hips.
"I gave up on dancing as a whole. Plus it didn't help that my mom shamed me for it too," claiming that dancing is an indirect way of opening your legs for boys. An invitation of sorts. With each passing day, she couldn't be more thankful that she hasn't bothered to reunite with her mom. Turns out, (Y/n) and Shoto both had that one horrible parent in their lives.
"Well it's just us," Shoto consoled the girl. "You can finally do what you've always wanted to do."
"I don't wanna dance Shoto," She murmured into his chest.
"But... You're doing it right now," realizing everything was being done before her eyes. (Y/n) finally peeled her eyes open, she wasn't even aware that they were stepping from side to side in a lover's embrace.
"I guess we are," dancing isn't as scary as I thought.
"Oh..." Shoto pushed the girl away with reluctance. He couldn't part ways with the shady figure in the doorway of whom his eyes illuminated a striking electric blue. "I guess Touya's here."
"Oh..." (Y/n) followed Shoto's line of sight. It was the first time she's ever seen Dabi smile.
"Guess I ruined the moment," the man on any other regular day, couldn't care less for if someone was having a moment. But this one in particular felt sacred and parting it was a curse. "Look... We've already established who Shun's attacker is. We really don't need to keep meeting up like this."
"We didn't bring you here for business," (Y/n) tended the kettle upon the stove for it began to whistle.
"Then what?"
"As a thank you," Shoto stepped forward. Everyone remained silent. "You could've killed or turned us into the League of Villains a million times, instead, you've helped and saved us on numerous occasions. You even... Carried (Y/n) back to the dorms when she was hurt and risked your own safety to do so... Thank you," Shoto took this time to bow down before his elder brother and Dabi remained at a loss for words.
"I know this place has a lot of baggage for you... But make yourself at home for the night," (Y/n) smiled. "Take a shower, eat a meal, sleep in a king sized bed. Do it all, you deserve it. Without you, I'd be dead or probably tortured by the League."
"Well I..." Dabi again couldn't form words. He's being treated like a real human being for once. "I'll take you up on the offer."
"Also," (Y/n) took a deep breath in. "Shun's out of the hospital and walking around again. Going to UA too-"
"Sounds like he's really living the dream," Dabi spun on his heel and waved. "I'll be in the shower. Don't bother me."
"O-Okay," waved in response. "I expected him to say more than that. Maybe be more emotional."
"I'll talk to him later-"
"I know how badly you want this but Is getting close with Touya such a good idea?" She warned.
Shoto pulled the girl in close and kissed her atop the head, "every little bit counts."
