Chapter 15: Cats & Blind Dates
5110 Words
Just as a heads up, I’m changing my writing style a bit. I’m still writing in 3rd person, I’m just not referring to the Reader in the story by You anymore like: You did that, you said this. Instead, I’ll be referring to the Reader by name, her, and she.
Monday mornings are the worst aren’t they? To go from a peaceful weekend where you can sleep in, be lazy and have fun to being plunged back into school where you wake up at some ungodly hour and have to actually get shit done. (Y/n) never really complains about school, but she does know how much her boyfriend struggles to get out of bed each morning. If Shoto was given the chance, he’d sleep through an entire day. Or two… Or maybe three. Okay, Shoto loves to sleep as much a Mr. Aizawa and everyday he wishes to have Aizawa’s life in order to sleep that extra minute longer whenever the chance could arise. Sometimes, (Y/n) has to wake him up, and that time is her favorite time of the day. Shoto is so handsome when he sleeps.
But first, (Y/n) has some business to take care of.
(Y/n) woke up bright and early all to perch herself outside of her teacher’s bedroom door. It was late last night when Shoto Todoroki and herself came home from a wonderful date with a new jointly owned cat they found in the streets. A cat so beautiful, so pleasant, doesn’t deserve to call the streets her home. (Y/n) figured it would’ve been rude to interrupt Mr. Aizawa late at night all to ask for a simple request. Well, sort of, she was bringing the question to him in the shape of a fluffy ball with long unhinged claws. “Mr. Aizawa?” (Y/n) knocked on the door with her free hand, the cat from yesterday lying within her other arm as pleased as one can be.
She could hear an aggravated groan from the opposite side of the door. “Can’t it wait for the classroom?”
“I-I wanted permission for something,” (Y/n) claimed.
“Come in…” Mr. Aizawa reluctantly invited one of his students within his domain. The girl pushed the door open, stepping within. That once tired and annoyed expression on Mr. Aizawa’s face melted into one of precious awe at the sight of the fluffy being within his student’s arms. “Who’s this beauty?” The male held out his hand. (Y/n) approached the male as the cat earned a gentle scratch over the head.
“Africa,” (Y/n) informed the male as Africa purred happily.
“Africa? That’s an odd name for a cat,” Mr. Aizawa retracted his hand back in confusion. He’s heard of the most common and ridiculous names like Puss or Pussy, Patches, Whiskers and many more for a cat but Africa was a first.
“You see,” (Y/n) sat down beside her teacher upon the bed. Africa crawled into Mr. Aizawa’s lap and plopped herself down. “I named her after the song Africa which was sung by the band Toto. She has two different colored eyes too, just like TODOroki.” Although the song is still considered a classic nowadays, the song was especially popular during (Y/n)’s time before she fell beneath the ice for three decades. It was interesting how (Y/n)’s interests of the 80s and early 90s still remained.
The male leaned forward examining the cool grey and minty turquoise of Africa’s eyes. “Indeed she does.” Not only does she have two different eyes but they’re the exact same color as Todoroki’s.
”Eh!” She shrugged. “I thought it was a cute name.”
“It’s only cute because you didn’t literally name her after your boyfriend.” Something ridiculous like naming Africa Todo or Todoroki Jr. would’ve been odd indeed.
“You right,” (Y/n) laughed at herself. “Is it fine if I kept her at the dorms with me? I don’t know anything about the rules about the kinds of pets we can keep here. I just know that caged animals are allowed as far as I know,” Because Koda has just about every pet you can think of like a rabbit and a bird and fish too.
“You can keep her,” the man never even thought about declining (Y/n) in the first place. He’s always had a soft spot for felines of any kind especially ever since his friend passed on what feels like forever ago. “Now can you please leave and get ready for the day? Class will start later than usual since we’re going to the Gauntlet so make sure to get into your hero suit.”
“How fun… Well, guess I’ll leave!” (Y/n) long knew about the weekly visits to the Gauntlet, she just didn’t want to go back all so soon. It hasn’t even been an entire week since coming back from the hospital but here they were about to tackle the beast once again. (Y/n) still has staples in her head! Apparently nobody can catch a break around here.
Mr. Aizawa snapped his fingers, it drew (Y/n)’s attention so that she didn’t leave all so soon. “Can you ask your brother if he can come along with the class?”
“Is he part of the class now!?” (Y/n) nearly choked. Talk about quick!!!
“No…” Aizawa shook his head. “Since he’s my apprentice now, I need to see how experienced he is. Going to the Gauntlet with the class would be great practice for him and it’d be a chance for Hitoshi and himself to work together.”
“Because they’re practically sidekicks!” (Y/n) exclaimed.
“Precisely,” the man stood up. “Can I trust you to do that?”
“Um, yeah! I’ll give you his number too,” She squirmed around to try and fetch the phone from out of her pocket. Then realization hit her over the head like a rock, “Actually… Shun spent the night here. Midoriya and him zonked out on the couch yesterday. I’m sure they’re still sleeping.”
“Then we can get to the Gauntlet earlier than planned,” the man hummed. “Well… Get going!”
“Yes sir!” (Y/n) quickly texted Mr. Aizawa Shun’s number and scampered out from her teacher’s room in a flurry. Her peers were getting ready for the day ahead, some were leaving their dorms as she was passing by. The only thing she had on the mind was waking up Shoto and her brother. (Y/n) knocked on Shoto’s door rapidly to give him his daily wake up call. To the Lounge she went! To her luck, Midoriya and Shun were still deep asleep on the couch and oh my god they were more adorable than ever! Midoriya was sprawled out upon Shun’s semi-bionic lap, content with a smile upon his freckled face. A total asshole sleeping next to a complete angel. Opposites attract, that much was clear as day.
“Okay Africa… Let’s give my jackass brother a wake up call,” (Y/n) quietly and carefully lied the feline upon the chest of her brother. It was odd how mellow Africa was. She was fine with just about anything that happened to it. Which is a good thing I guess? It’s nice to know that the cat won’t dare to scratch or bite anyone. Except, after a good couple of seconds, Africa began growling and flaring her teeth. Shun was stirring awake thanks to things such as his crimson eyes fluttered open to a tense feline arching its back and hissing into his face.
Despite all this, Shun remained calm. “I’m gonna say this right now…” Shun discreetly smacked Midoriya awake as a silent call to help. “Who’s fucking cat is this? Somebody better come forward before I throw it-” Africa struck Shun across the cheek! He threw the cat off him! His bionic hand cupped the injury, a hiss of pain fled his lips. Midoriya jolted awake in a tumble to the floor beneath... Atop Africa.
Now there was a brawl between two boys and one singular cat. Oddly enough, Africa was no doubtedly going to come out of it as the victor. “Way to make a first impression!” (Y/n) whined and took Africa off their hands. Immediately, Africa mellowed out going limp within her hold. Weird… She was acting just fine with Mr. Aizawa and Shoto. What made them any different?
“I’m fucking allergic so don’t give me shit about it!” Allergic? Oh crap…
Guilt washed over (Y/n)’s body as Shun was nearly doubled over in pain. His cheek throbbed, jaw tensing up, tears to his eyes. “I had no clue… Sorry.” How else is (Y/n) supposed to apologize? He could be dying right now for all she knew.
Shun helped Midoriya to sit up, “It’s not like I’m deathly allergic to them so… I guess it’s no big deal.” He says that yet he won’t take his hand away from his scratch.
“So you’re allergic but not allergic?” Midoriya yawned, rubbing his eyes with the back of his hands. He then tried to remove Shun’s hand from his face to examine his injuries but Shun kept shoving him away. Each shove harder than the last.
“If a cat scratches, bites or licks me, I swell up,” this experience dug up some grim memories from his childhood. His mom, (Y/n)’s step mom, attempted to introduce a pet cat to the family when Shun was little since he begged and begged for a pet of any kind. He particularly wanted a dog or maybe a dragon. Obviously dragons weren’t real, dogs weren’t allowed in their penthouse, so that didn’t leave many options. Well, the kitten didn’t like Shun very much to put it simply. The kitten loved to scale his legs and bite his hands just because and that’s what started their unhealthy relationship. Shun tried to put up with his hands and legs swelling for a good month before it scratched up his face and ended in a hospital trip later. Whatever happened to that cat? Shun didn’t give a damn. If anything, he wishes the little devil returned to hell where it came from. (Y/n) always wondered what was up with the tiny scars that littered his jaw and cheeks and that moment was where they originated. Now, he can add another scar to his resume…
(Y/n) sat Africa upon the floor. “Guess I’ll keep Africa far away from you…”
“Much appreciated.”
“Are you going to be alright though?” (Y/n) stepped forward.
Shun glared at her with dark orbs of crimson. “I think…” Shun guessed yet his pain refused to lessen. “I think If I ice it down I should be fine-”
“Isn’t your quirk ice though?” Midoriya leaned forward with intrigue.
“Yeah can’t you like cover your scratch with ice?”
Upon asking, Shun removed his hand from his face. The area was swelling to form a large deformed lump upon his jaw. His entire body exploded into a mess of icicle spikes as if he was a human porcupine. “Yeah… It doesn’t work that way…” He hissed, the icicles retracting back into his body.
(Y/n)’s brother needed ice and wanted to be as far away from Africa as soon as possible. “Wait!” (Y/n) called out, stopping her brother in his tracks. “Mr. Aizawa wants you to come with the class to a training facility! Wear your hero suit!”
“Fucking… AWESOME!” Shun ran out of the room the fastest his legs could carry him. He’s been dreaming of a time to shine and today might just be that time.
“I swear one second he’s a jerk and the next he’s as sweet as can be,” (Y/n) sighed and sat down. Anytime he isn’t talking about how the world is out to get him or his constant desire to thrash someone nearly to death, he’s peculiarly sweet. Wow, with each passing day (Y/n) can’t help but compare him to Bakugou. They both hate everyone and everything and love beating people or things up. How are they not friends yet?
“Sadly I can agree,” Midoriya chuckled.
“What exactly were you two doing last night-”
Ashido came bounding out from the hallway into the lounge. The pink monster kept running towards (Y/n) of all people, excited beyond hell, with no signs of stopping. Midoriya threw himself over the couch to avoid her. “(Y/N)!” Ashido exclaimed and lunged out from her spot. She landed atop (Y/n), pinning the girl to the couch.
(Y/n)’s eyes were large, “What the hell!?”
Ashido’s eyes were glittering in pure unobtained happiness. “(Y/n) (Y/n) (Y/n)!!! Pretty pretty please set me up on a date with your brother!!!”
“Have you met him!?” (Y/n) threw the pink girl off her body. “He has like no likable qualities! Even Midoriya’s having problems with him.”
Both of the girls turned to the green haired wonder. “I-I wouldn’t say that,” Midoriya rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. He hates being put on the spot. “He’s not the most fun guy to be around… Shun’s pretty… Boring to put it nicely. He doesn’t build upon his personal interests all that much.” Again, fights fights and more fights.
“I don’t care!” Ashido was smiling ear to ear. “He looks handsome and has that bad boy vibe. I’m into that sort of stuff.” Apparently Ashido has a type. Yet, (Y/n) was wondering why she hasn’t hit it off with Kirishima or Kaminari yet. Everybody can feel the chemistry Ashido has between those boys yet neither of them has gotten to first base yet.
(Y/n) didn’t know how to put things nicely. “You’re better off asking Shinsou out than him-”
“Ew! No! I don’t like him…” She puffed out her cheeks.
“Besides the lack of limbs… Shinsou and Shun look exactly alike except Shinsou has a likable personality.” Because apparently Ashido is basing everything on looks alone.
“Once again I gotta agree,” Midoriya felt awkward admitting to such a fact.
“Can you please just set us up on a date,” and there she goes giving everyone the alien puppy dog eyes. The longer (Y/n) stares into her eyes, the less uncomfortable she felt about them. Wow… Shun is one lucky guy to have such a pretty girl chase him down.
“Fine,” Can’t say I didn’t warn her, (Y/n) thought with a groan. “Will you do a favor for me if I do this for you?”
“In a heartbeat!!!” Ashido pats her chest vigorously.
“Okay then,” (Y/n) made kissy noises that attracted Africa the cat to her. Ashido awed at the sight and went ahead to pick her up. Unlike with Midoriya and Shun, Africa remained mellow within Ashido’s arms. “I got Africa yesterday and as you can tell she needs to be groomed.” Africa looks like a huge fluff ball with random patches of mangled hair, not only does she need a haircut but a brushing as well.
“I’ll make sure she looks pretty!” Ashido immediately understood the terms of the agreement. Africa meowed with approval. “Thanks Bestie!!!”
Ashido began to leave the room, “Glad to… Help. I swear this class gets weirder and weirder.”
“At least Aoyama isn’t stalking you,” Midoriya admits. “He tends to stand outside my window and watch me sleep. It’s creepy… And I need to confront him about it sometime soon.”
“Well… At least I don’t have a stalker.” (Y/n) felt sorry for Midoriya. Imagine a french boy with his face squished into your window watching your every move… And while you’re sleeping of all times.
“Did you just set your brother up on a date?” Ah, Sleeping Beauty finally woke up.
“Nevermind,” (Y/n) spun around facing her drowsy boyfriend named Shoto. “I think my stalker is Mr. Half n’ Half himself.”
“You’ve been hanging around Bakugou again haven’t you?” Shoto pieced together such facts by himself.
“Yes… Why?” She hummed.
“Only he calls me that.”
“Is that a bad thing?”
“I don’t mind.”
“Then why mention it?” Okay, it seems like everything is gradually becoming irritable on (Y/n)’s end. “Mr. Aizawa said that we’re going to the Gauntlet again. Let’s go get into uniform.”
“How fun…” Shoto wretched. He’s still a little shaken up from the last time. He fought his father, had to murder a clone of his girlfriend and watched as a clone of himself nearly murdered his real girlfriend. That day was mentally scarring.
“Took the words right out of my mouth…”
After a quick change and a long bus ride later, everyone arrived at the Gauntlet. Rules were refreshed and each Pro Hero collected their designated group of students. “Shun & (Y/n) Renora, Shoto Todoroki, Izuku Midoriya & Momo Yaoyorozu over here!!!” Hawks waved down all of his students. All five of them were surprised to be grouped with one another as was Hawks who read his sheet of paper he obtained from Mr. Aizawa incredulously. “I’m guessing your teacher doesn’t like you very much?” The blonde frowned before (Y/n) and company.
“What makes you say that?” Midoriya too was frowning.
“I really can’t say…” Hawks admits. “I guess I can tell you though since it has nothing to do with you. Oh and HI!!!” Hawks approached Shoto. His crimson wings flapping with approval. “I work with your dad! He’s proud of you ya know?”
“Yeah…” Shoto glared at the birdman. “I’ll believe it when I see it.”
“He also said that you’re a bit of an asshole.”
“I believe that.” And oddly enough Shoto looks proud of himself.
“Okay let’s stop!!!” (Y/n) broke up the horrible conversation before it could devolve into anything darker. Let’s look at the bright side of things! “I think it’s cool that we’re paired up in a group again! It also scares me that we are as well.”
Shoto really paid no mind to the group’s configuration. He was just happy that he was paired up with his girlfriend. “As long as I’m with you.”
“Your costume is awesome Shun!” Midoriya awed.
Shun peered down on himself. He wore a padded black and grey vest, it resembled a bullet proof one almost to the tiniest details. The padding really was to ensure he’d stay warm though thanks to his quirk. Protection played no role in such a clothing choice. His mechanical arms were on display for everyone to see. His navy pants clung tightly to his body and his combat boots reached mid leg. Oddly enough, Shun had kneepads on his one remaining leg while the false one had nothing at all. “Thanks Broccoli Boy!” Shun ruffled Midoriya’s hair. Despite how he can’t feel Midoriya’s hair, he’s always wanted to scramble it up.
“What’s up with your mask?” Midoriya fought to put his hair back in order.
“Oh,” The piece that brought everything together was a black leather face mask that was dangling from around his neck. Shun pulled it over his face to show it off. The mask could only cover half his face. Where the corners of his mouth would be were two circular filters of sorts and had silver studs strewn about it. The mask was a bit… Unnerving. “I rarely use my quirk too much but if I do the cold makes my lungs seize up. This helps regulate my breathing.”
“I thought it was just for show,” Shoto admits.
“I had no idea it had a purpose!” Midoriya exclaimed.
“Wanna see the paper?” Hawks broke up the conversations by separating Midoriya out from the group.
“Yes, thank you sir!” Midoriya hopped in.
Team 3:
Izuku Midoriya
Shun Renora
(Y/n) Renora
Shoto Todoroki
Momo Yaoyorozu
Personal Notes:
-As of lately, (Y/n) and Yaoyorozu haven’t gotten along and the root of the problem is Todoroki. This exercise will hopefully bring the girls together instead of working against one other.
-(Y/n), Todoroki & Shun all have ice based quirks making this team off balanced. With less variety among the group means they can’t act as independently as they could in the past.
-Shun will get violent with anyone who antagonizes him. He gets along with nearly everyone on his team to some degree.
-Midoriya is there to keep the group from falling apart.
“Mr. Aizawa set up this group to fail,” that’s the big picture Midoriya got from the assigned group. (Y/n) and Momo are fighting over Todoroki, Todoroki in the group too and in the middle of it, Shun doesn’t play well with others, Midoriya himself is there to keep the group glued together. While that fact was flattering, Midoriya knew that a fight or two was gonna break out. No doubt about it…
The first group that went into the Gauntlet was what everyone considered to be the Bakusquad: Bakugou, Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero & Ashido. The theme this time around in the Gauntlet was clearly puzzles and teamwork. The first trial was a floor puzzle where the tiles were jumbled around and they had to slide the tiles around to create a picture. They, sadly, didn’t get past the puzzle even after working on it for an hour and failed the Gauntlet. Bakugou was yelling at everyone, nobody could get along, and now Kaminari’s brain is fried.
The second group was Uraraka, Tsu, Iida, Mineta and Tokoyami. They were an oddball of a group that was put together since everyone was paired together with someone in the group at least once before. Apparently Tsu and Tokoyami were exam partners, Tsu and Mineta once fought villains together and lastly she was pretty close with Uraraka and Iida. Uraraka paired with Tokoyami in the sports festival and is almost always with Iida on any given day. Despite being oddballs, they clearly had more than a fair share of teamwork and managed to solve the floor tile puzzle fairly quickly. Their second trial was to work together to turn off an alarm that nobody could reach. They passed with flying colors then moved onto trial number three. Here, much like the first visit to the Gauntlet where everyone faced doppelgangers of their friends and teammates, had to separate from their group to face clones once again. Except this time, those clones were of the people they loved the most. Each student had to choose which of their two loved ones they’d rather save if and when such a time would ever happen in real life. With being a Pro Hero comes many dangers. Villains will target a hero's family, more often than not, both loved ones cannot be saved and saving one person is better than none at all. It’s quite a fucked up idea for a simulator, but in all honesty it’s not such a bad one either.
Everyone failed that trial…
Everyone was withdrawn from the Gauntlet and (Y/n)’s group entered one after the other.
As the simulator’s door closed, trapping the group within. The surroundings altered into what was an almost egyptian themed room with yellowed tiles and odd marks strewn about the room. The floor, much like the previous group's trials, held a slide puzzle with random shapes that were far from completing a grand picture. The Bakusquad’s puzzle was futuristic themed while Uraraka’s group was rainforest themed.
“Trial One!” The watch on everyone’s wrists chirped to life. “Solve the puzzle to open the door!”
Shun gaped and gawked at the inner workings of the Gauntlet incredulously, he’s never seen something so high tech that everything around you could change without difficulty and this wasn’t even virtual reality. “I’ve never been in a simulator before,” the purple haired male knelt down to pet the tiled floor. “Okay… Why the fuck did I just do that?” He blinked rapidly. “Dude I don’t have any fucking hands to feel yet I literally just felt the floor!”
“I think you’re just too excited for your own good,” (Y/n) snickered.
“Yet you called me a dumbass the other day,” Shoto tuts. Oh god… Here we go again.
“Go ahead,” Shun stood up. “Go ahead call me a dumbass! I deserve it.”
“Dumbass,” Shoto spoke. Midoriya could’ve sworn that his ears were bleeding.
“Now we’re even,” Shun turned to Momo suddenly. His crimson eyes were drawn immediately to Momo’s breasts and exposed stomach. “I swear hero suits are becoming skimpier by the day…”
Momo took offense and covered her cleavage with an arm. “As a matter of fact, I have no choice but to wear this because of my quirk.” The girl remained calm to keep her pompous composure.
“That much I understand,” Shun stepped forward and bent over just enough to meet the ravenette’s level. “Doesn’t get past the fact that you have no dignity. Wear a pair of compression shorts for crying out loud. Any sleazy perv can see your vag from a mile away!”
“Oh my god…” (Y/n) dropped her head upon Shoto’s shoulder as it blazed shades of red and pink.
Shoto rested a hand upon her head. “Should I… Say something?”
“Could you?” (Y/n) couldn’t bring herself to end the argument.
“Okay,” Shoto approached the arguing teenagers.
“You have no right to insult my suit when you look like a villain!” Momo butted heads with Shun.
The room went silent. Shoto knew to keep his distance.
“Y’know,” Shun shoved the girl away, his eyes dark. Mist began wafting from his body. “It wasn’t my choice to lose my arms and I look like a villain because of it. It’s exactly what you just said that kept me from being a student… Everywhere. So shut the fuck up…” Shun was heavily restraining himself right now. If he had no consequences, he’d be sending Momo to the hospital within an inch of her life.
Momo turned the other cheek and approached a wall that held the key to the trail’s puzzle. Shun was shuddering just by holding back his rage.
(Y/n) ran up to Shoto, “cool him down please!” She asked of her boyfriend. “I’ll talk to Momo… Maybe get some of the puzzle done.”
“No,” Shoto shook his head. “You two don’t get along either.”
“Not like I have a choice…”
“But I know you,” Shoto stood his ground. “The second she says something off, it’ll be her and your brother all over again.”
“Maybe that’s what needs to happen,” (Y/n) pursed her lips. “Clearly she still has some beef with me. Let’s get it out of the way now.”
“I told you no!” Shoto snapped and it shook (Y/n)’s being. After going so long, (Y/n) had nearly forgotten about how scary and controlling Endeavor could be but Shoto just freshly reminded her of those horrible experiences. He was Enji’s son after all. Sadly enough, Shoto understood that his outburst had shook (Y/n) and now he feels horrible. Shoto thought that his angry and disconnected days were over. “No more fighting…” He spoke with a sigh.
“I’m not listening to you,” (Y/n) admits without any difficulty. “I’ll get right to the point with her. No fighting necessary. Just like when I fought Shinsou on day one. I did ALL the talking,” and that’s a heartfelt promise. If Momo tries to keep anything going, (Y/n) will just turn her back on the girl and leave the argument where it stands.
Shoto thought deeply for a moment, “I guess…” He lets out another sigh. Not like he was going to say no after his outburst. “If I tell you to drop it, then drop it.”
“Promise,” (Y/n) quickly pecked Shoto on the lips. Although the kiss was short, it gave Shoto all the reassurance that everything is going to be alright. (Y/n) skipped on over to where Momo stood. What she didn’t know, Momo saw everything out of the corner of her eye and couldn’t hide the frown that occupied her face. “Momo! I have something to tell ya!”
Momo whipped around, “Who gave you the right to call me by my first name!?” The girl shouts with glossy eyes. “Even Todoroki doesn’t call me that!”
“My apologies… Yaoyorozu,” (Y/n) genuinely apologize. Call it force of habit, but once she learns of someone’s first name (Y/n) prefers to call them by said name.
Momo could tell that (Y/n) was being genuine… Unlike her brother. “Just get to the point,” Momo crossed her arms.
“What’s your problem with me? What wrong have I done to you?” (Y/n) spoke slowly and tried to remain genuine. There’s no point in getting angry. “I get it… I’ve heard from a lot of people that you’re head over heels for Shoto and still are. I wasn’t always in your class, I literally woke up from a thirty year nap not that long ago. How was I supposed to know you had eyes on him? He came to me, I didn’t go to him. I get that love and jealousy can make a monster out of anyone but that shouldn’t direct where our relationship ends up,” When (Y/n) had her facts, she could be the most influential person around. Sometimes, anger isn’t necessary when you need to reach someone’s heart. “Again… What wrong did I do to you? I tried being your friend when we were in the hospital and in class too. Nobody wants to be your friend Yaoyorozu! Are you really gonna let your obsession over Shoto turn you into this hideous person you’ve become? You can still crawl out of the hole you’ve fallen into,” (Y/n) stepped off to the side to view the puzzle key and to allow her words to sink into the girl in question.
Momo allowed the tears to fall upon her face. She used her quirk to pull a tissue from her chest cavity to dry her salty droplets. “I hate how you’re right…” Momo sobbed. “I understand why everyone likes you so much…” She began to sniffle. (Y/n)’s down to earth, honest, easy to talk to. “I can finally see why Todoroki fell for you over me.” Unlike Momo, (Y/n) doesn’t need the fancy rich girl attitude or the money to win everyone’s favor.
Shoto, Midoriya and Shun all stood aligned. They were astonished by how well everything was turning out. (Y/n) really did reach her enemy’s heart so flawlessly. The conversation in itself brought them to tears as it too touched their hearts.
“I want my friends back…” Momo couldn’t hold back her tears. (Y/n) stepped forwards, opening her arms. Momo practically fell into them, sobbing her heart out.
