(Y/N) POV
I stormed towards Jack rage flaring in my (E/C) eyes. He froze as soon as he saw me, his eyes darting around to find a way out. I stopped directly in front of him and pushed the copy of the school paper that Tooth gave me into his chest.
"You've played some stupid, dick pranks in the past Frost but this crosses the line!" I yelled at him seething. He gave me a confused look before looking down at the paper that had fallen on the floor after I shoved it at him. He picked it up and promptly choked.

Jack POV(Didja see that one coming? I THINK NOT!👆)
The headline was ICE COLD JOCK CATCHES SPRING FEVER. Directly under it was an enlarged picture of (L/N) and I in the courtyard with her hands on my shoulders and me rubbing my arm in what seemed like a bashful manner.
"So that's what Tooth meant...." I murmured in appalled horror. (L/N) rolled her eyes dramatically.
"Yeah, no shit! Now can you please explain to her that this is some sick gag you came up with and it's all a joke?" She asked me rubbing her temples like she was getting a headache. I shook my head slowly my eyes wide with terror.
"I had nothing to do with this.... When I was planning today's prank this," I gestured to the repulsive stack of papers in my hand "wasn't even on my radar! If I'd had even the slightest clue about this I'd have faked being sick today to avoid it." Her eyes widened in horror as something seemed to occur to her.
"We need to fix this....NOW!" She yelled heading off in the direction of the school newspaper "headquarters" like an arrow out of a bow.
(Time skip)
We arrived and I put a hand in front of (Y/N).
"Let me do the talking ok? Sandy and the kangaroo are my friends so they'll probably hear me out." I said trying to sound sure of myself. She nodded curly and we walked in. I immediately walked to the main desk and slammed the paper down in front of bunny who was typing on his phone.
"Oi mate! What's got you so riled up?" He asked seeing me glare at him. I jabbed a finger at the photo of me and (Y/N).
"A. WHERE THE HELL did you get this picture?! And B. WHAT THE HELL possessed you to print this?! Do you have any idea what this article almost did to me?! TOOTH TACKLE HUGGED ME!  I thought I was going to die cotton tail!" I railed glaring at him vehemently. He looked at the paper in slight shock before looking over at Sandy.
"Did you know about this mate?" Sandy shook his head as he suppressed a laugh.
"Well if neither of you knew it was gonna be printed how did it happen?!" I asked throwing my hands up in disbelief. A soft cough from behind us stopped me two seconds before I punched bunny in the face. We all looked towards (Y/N) who was holding a different copy of the paper in her hand. It was opened to a different page that was entitled April's Fools.
"I think you may have mixed up the headlines." She said pointing to the first sentence on the page. It read: Another big win for the Guardians thanks to our favorite star player Jack Frost! Sandy facepalmed and turned to bunny, the two of them whispered conspiratorially and I managed to make out,
"......Mr. Dingle.......idiot......" I snickered and said,
"So... Can you fix this or not?" Sandy nodded and took his phone out and made a post on the school newspaper's Twitter account.
"There! Now everyone thinks it was all a joke." (Y/N) and I sighed in relief and turned to leave.
"By the way mate, what was the deal with that picture anyway? What were ya doin'" bunny asked arching an eyebrow.
"Oh nothing much, I was just giving him a pep talk!" She responded smiling brightly. I rubbed the spot she hit me and muttered,
"Pep talk my ass.... It left a freaking bruise...." She shot me a look over her shoulder and I stiffened like a board.
"What was that snowflake?" I shook my head rapidly and quickly responded,
"Nothing ma'am!" She grinned and turned around to head to class. I stood in the hallway for a moment and numbly thought, Has her smile always looked like that?
