(Y/N) POV
I was sitting in my sixth period study when my phone went off. I looked down at it and saw two texts.
Hey! Can you meet me at the North pole? I wanted to introduce you to the guardians~ Tooth I nodded and started to respond when I saw the second text.
Um... Hey (L/N)... so... Tooth kinda gave me your number earlier and she mentioned you coming to the North pole? Just wanted to be clear that it's probably a bad idea.... Just saying... Oh btw this is Jack....~ unknown number I shook my head at the long rambling text and added his number to my contacts as ❄.
"You know he hates it when you call him that right?" A random voice said from behind me. I shrieked and nearly dropped my phone as I whipped around to see who said it.
"Oh geez! Jamie it's just you..." I sighed pressing a hand over my heart in an effort to calm down. He laughed and sat down next to me and gestured to my phone.
"So are you gonna go? Jacks kinda right when he says it might not be the best idea, the teacher advisor can tend to be a bit.... Much." Jamie said trying not to sound scared for some reason. I raised an eyebrow at him and said,
"Well now I have to go, there's no way I can pass up a chance to meet someone who can scare both you and snowflake." He laughed and nodded at me confirming my assumption. I held my phone up and texted Tooth.
I'm in, just don't let me see any weird/awkwardness with you and the snowflake, k? It'd make a fun thing suck. She just sent a laughing emoji in reply that I assumed that meant ok. I noticed Jamie studying me out of the corner of my eye and turned to look at him.
"You need something Bennett?" I asked raising an eyebrow. He shook his head and muttered,
"I just don't see it..." I frowned.
"See what? You're kinda creeping me out here." I stated leaning away to emphasize my point. He sighed and, in the bluntest tone I've ever heard anyone use, told me,
"Jack has a thing for you and won't admit it, he's basically had one since second grade, but what I'm having trouble with is figuring out why he's so adamant about denying it-I mean you're perfect for each other! You like the same sports, make the same jokes, and live right next door to each other! It's like the universe is trying to get you guys to admit it and you're just not listening." My jaw was on the floor before I even processed what he was saying. This kid is out of his freaking mind... I thought staring at him. Then, like any sane person I began to laugh hysterically. After a good ten minutes of me trying not to die from laughter I wiped my eyes and looked at him. Jamie was deadpanning and asked,
"You done yet?" I nodded as I caught my breath.
"Look I'm sorry, but there's a snowball's chance in hell that Jack Frost has ever had any 'special feelings' for me. Well I guess that's not entirely true, he hates me." I stated still grinning. He just sighed and shook his head at me.
"You'll see, he'll figure it out." Jamie stated simply before getting up and walking away.
