04. Disturbing Behavior

"There has to be more to this dress" Rebekah complained from inside the dressing room, while Aria picked out more clothes for her.

"There's not" Klaus replied.

"So women in the 21st century dress like prostitutes, then?" Rebekah asked, coming out of the dressing room.

"Should I be offended?" Aria asked.

"No, you shouldn't" Rebekah replied, smiling at the Connor witch, "You look gorgeous, me on the other hand, don't, you know, I got dirty looks for wearing trousers".

"You wore trousers so women today could wear nothing" Klaus mocked.

"Again, should I be offended?" Aria asked, stealing Klaus's drink.

"Hey!" Klaus complained.

"Suck it up, Nik" Aria said, giving Klaus a cheeky smile and downing his drink, while Rebekah looked on fondly, she still couldn't believe Aria was standing infront of her.

"And what is this music, it sounds like a cable car accident" Rebekah complained.

"This is what us 21st century people call dance music, Beks" Aria said.

"People dance to this?" Rebekah asked, almost offended.

"Yes, they do" Aria replied.

"Are we done?" Klaus asked annoyed.

"And why are you so grumpy?" Rebekah asked.

"I needed one thing from you for my witch to find out why my hybrids were dying" Klaus snapped, making Stefan and Aria glance at each other, both of them knew the reason all to well, "One thing, your necklace, and you lost it".

"I didn't lose it, it's just been missing for 90 years" Rebekah defended, she then turned to Stefan, "So, what do you think?".

"I like it" Stefan replied, but both Aria and Rebekah could immediately tell he was lying.

"You seriously need to improve on your lying skills Stefan" Aria said.

"What? I said I like it" Stefan defended.

"I can always tell when you're lying Stefan" Rebekah snapped.

"Okay, you know what, change into these, then me and you are ditching these people and doing some catching up of our own" Aria said, handing Rebekah some clothes.

"Great idea" Rebekah said, really wanting to spend some time with Aria.

"Nice one, good work" Klaus told Stefan, after Rebekah walked away.

"Your the one who pulled the dagger out of her" Stefan said.

"I heard that" Rebekah said, from inside the dressing room.

"You two are mean people" Aria laughed.

"That we are" Klaus said, handing Aria another drink.

"God, this is amazing" Rebekah said, eating her Rocky Road ice cream, while her and Aria walked down the streets of Chicago.

"I told you" Aria said, eating her own ice cream.

"Okay, so let's recap" Rebekah said, "You were friends with the doppelganger, but she ended up betraying you by daggering Elijah, not a surprise there, but I am surprised hearing all the things Stefan did to you, now I have a sudden urge to rip his heart out, also you have a best friend who recently turned into your sister, Caroline Forbes, not going to lie kind of jealous, also you've been having daily conversations with my brother Kol, oh and your in love with Stefan's older brother Damon, anything I miss?".

"Nope, you pretty much caught up with my life now" Aria replied.

"So, tell me more about this Damon" Rebekah said, "I want to know who my brother is competing with for your love".

Aria laughed, "When he first entered my life, everyone around me told me to stay away from him, they all told me he was bad news, which I guess he kind of was, but I couldn't help myself, I don't know if it was our connection or if it was something else, all I know is Damon Salvatore changed my life, for good of course, he came into my life when I needed someone, my adopted parents had just died, the guy I loved didn't even realise I exist anymore, basically I was in a very dark place, and then Damon helped me become the old me, he made me happy, he made me realise what love really is".

"You really love him, don't you?" Rebekah asked, a small smile on her face.

"I do" Aria replied.

"What do you feel about Kol then?" Rebekah asked curiously.

"What?" Aria asked confused.

"I'm just curious, you told me that you and Kol talk every night, and that the more you talk, the more your memories of your time spent together comes back, right?" Rebekah asked.

"Right" Aria said.

"So I was wondering, what do you feel about Kol?" Rebekah asked, "Because technically, Ariana and Kol never broke up, and the love you both had for each other, it was too magical to just disappear".

"Kol has always been there, the only reason I've been able to stay away from Damon for so long is because of Kol" Aria said, a small smile on her face remembering the Original, "I don't have to say anything for him to realise that I'm upset, and whenever I am upset he always has a solution to my problem, and the most important thing, today if I'm standing here with you, it's all because of Kol".

Rebekah smiled at Aria, "Well my dear Ariana, it looks like when my brother returns, we are going to have a love triangle on our hand".

"What?" Aria asked confused.

"It's quiet simple really, Aria is in love with Damon, but Ariana has always loved Kol, the more memories you get of Kol and you, the more Ariana you become, the feelings that Ariana felt for Kol are slowly coming back, and there will be a point you will have to choose between the two, you will have to decide who you love more, the guy who made you feel alive or the guy who made sure you were alive" Rebekah explained.

"Kol knows I love Damon" Aria said, refusing to believe Rebekah's words.

"But my brother also knows that a part of you, a part that you haven't discovered yet, still loves him" Rebekah explained.

"If I fall for both of them, what would that make me?" Aria asked worried.

"It will make you human, my dear sister" Rebekah replied, "But just know, it doesn't matter if your happy ending is with Damon or Kol, you will always be part of our family, you will always be a Mikaelson".

Aria smiled at Rebekah, "Thank you".

"Always here" Rebekah smiled, winking at Aria, "Now tell me who else do I have to torture for hurting you?".

Aria and Rebekah entered Gloria's bar, with a bunch of shopping bags in their hands.

"Well, don't you two look happy" Klaus said sarcastically.

"His grumpy again" Aria whispered into Rebekah's ear, making her laugh and Klaus glare at her.

"Two hours" Klaus complained, "We've been waiting for you two for the past two hours".

"We lost track of time" Aria said, giving Klaus a sheepish look.

"We've been apart of a thousand years Nik, give us a break" Rebekah snapped.

"What is she doing?" Aria asked, pointing to Gloria, who looked like she was in some sort of trance.

"She's failing" Klaus replied, glaring at the witch.

"It's hard to find something when you don't have anything to go on" Gloria snapped

 "So use me, I only wore it for a thousand years" Rebekah offered, walking over to Gloria.

"See? Now this one offers a solution" Gloria taunted, "All right, give me your hand, sweetheart".

Rebekah placed her hand into Gloria's, while a worried Stefan looked on.

"She's, uh--She's looking for the necklace, huh?" Stefan asked, while Aria frowned seeing his worried face.

"I can sense something" Gloria said, chanting a spell, after a while, Gloria turned to Klaus, "I found it".

"So where is it?" Rebekah asked.

"It's doesn't work like that, doll" Gloria replied, "I get images, there's a girl with her friends".

"A dead girl with dead friends, if I don't get my necklace back" Rebekah snapped.

"I have to dive back in and get the details" Gloria said.

"So dive" Klaus said.

"I need more time" Gloria said, as Klaus leaned towards her, "And space, you're harshing my juju".

"We can wait" Klaus urged.

"I'm sure you can" Gloria said, "But that's not what I asked".

"Hey, hey, you know, why don't we just come back later" Stefan said, walking over to Klaus, "I'm hungry anyway, I'll let you pick who we eat".

"Great idea, but leave this one with me" Gloria said, pointing to Aria, causing everyone to frown.

"Not happening" Rebekah snapped, she didn't want Aria to leave her eye sight, she was scared she was going to disappear.

"I need extra help" Gloria said.

"It's fine" Aria assured, "You guys do your thing, and I'll help Gloria locate your necklace Beks".

Klaus and Rebekah exchanged a uneasy look.

"Guys, go" Aria urged, "I'll be fine".

After a little bit of hesitation, all three vampires left the bar, leaving Gloria and Aria to themselves.

"So what do you need my help with?" Aria asked curiously.

"Tell me something Aria, what do you know about your heritage?" Gloria asked.

"My heritage?" Aria asked confused.

"Yeah, what do you know about the first Connor witch?" Gloria asked.

"I thought I was the first Connor witch" Aria replied confused.

"Well, you see, two thousand years ago there was a girl, her name was Adriana Amulet, she was a powerful psychic in her time, some people say that she was blessed by Hecate, the goddess of magic, she was so powerful that her own parents wanted to kill her, so to escape her horrible parents, she ran away, changed her name, became a whole different person" Gloria explained.

"What did she change her name to?" Aria asked curiously.

"Adriana Connor" Gloria revealed, shocking Aria, "She settled in the town you know as Mystic Falls, where she met the love of her life Damien and his brother Silas, little did she know that the more deeply she fell for Damien, the more bad Silas's obsession for her got, he wanted her by hook or by crook, but his every attempt failed, no one could separate Damien and Adriana, so in his anger, Silas ended up killing Adriana".

"Why are you telling me all this?" Aria asked confused.

"Do you know why Adriana was so powerful?" Gloria asked, ignoring Aria's question.

"No, but I feel like your about to tell me" Aria replied.

"She was the first ever hybrid to exist" Gloria revealed, shocking Aria, "She wasn't just a witch, she sensed death, some say she even sensed her own, when death was near her, she would scream so loudly, that everyone, far or near, would hear her, she was the wailing women, or as modern language calls her, a banshee".

"Again, why are you telling me all this?" Aria snapped.

"After Adriana's death, a prophecy was born, that every thousand year, her doppelganger would be born, that doppelganger would have her powers, she would be the most strongest and deadliest creature on this planet, did you know, when you were young, your mother did a spell on you" Gloria revealed.

"What?" Aria asked shocked, "Why would my mother do a spell on me?".

"Because she knew, she knew you were a reincarnation, but she also knew that you were a doppelganger" Gloria informed.

"Doppelganger?" Aria asked shocked, "I'm a doppelganger?".

Gloria nodded, "Ariana was Adriana's doppelganger, technically you shouldn't exist, but your lover boy brought you back, what he didn't realise was that when he brought you back, he was making you a target to all witches who want to be powerful, your not only a reincarnation, but you also have Petrova blood in your veins, and top all of that, your the doppelganger of Adriana, meaning your also a hybrid, do you even realise the amount of power you hold?".

"No" Aria said, shaking her head in denial, "I am not a banshee, your lying".

"I'm not" Gloria assured, "Your banshee part is locked away right now, but it's slowly coming out".

"Who locked my banshee part?" Aria asked, though she had an idea.

"Your mother, with the help of Sheila Bennet" Gloria revealed, "Both of them loved you immensely, and they didn't want you to have target on your back".

"How do you know all this?" Aria asked.

"Who do you think gave your mother the spell?" Gloria said smiling.

"You gave my mother the spell?" Aria asked shocked.

"Yes, I did" Gloria replied, "And in return, your mother promised me something, something you will have to give me since she's no longer here".

"Which is what exactly?" Aria asked suspiciously, for some reason, Gloria was starting to give her very bad vibes.

Gloria smiled at Aria, a smile that made chills run down her spine, "Your powers".

Before Aria could react, Gloria had grabbed a vase, and knocked her out.

Aria groaned and slowly opened her eyes, only to see herself tied down to a table with metal chains.

"What the hell are you doing to me?!" Aria yelled at Gloria.

"See, in order for me to get your powers, I need to kill you" Gloria informed, "But before that, I need to unlock your powers".

"Klaus and Rebekah will kill you!" Aria yelled, trying to get out of the chains.

"Oh honey, by the time they realise somethings wrong, I will be long gone" Gloria replied, placing her hands on Aria's head.

"Get your filthy hands off of me!" Aria yelled.

"Shh" Gloria whispered, "It's all going to end soon".

With her hands placed on Aria's head, Gloria started chanting, causing a searing pain to shoot through Aria's head.

"Ahhh!" Aria yelled, "Stop! Please stop! It hurts!".

"Shh, it's almost done, I'm almost there" Gloria said, ignoring Aria's cries.

Suddenly Aria gasped and pain shot through her whole body and she had this urge to scream, so she screamed, the force of her scream pushing Gloria into a glass cabinet.

Gloria took a piece of glass out of her leg and stood up with a smile on her face, "Would you look at that? Looks like you're officially a witch banshee hybrid".

"Please don't" Aria whispered, feeling extremely exhausted, "Please don't kill me".

"But honey, I have to, a girl so young doesn't deserve such power" Gloria said, grabbing a knife.

"No" Aria cried, trying to get herself out of the chains, "Please, no".

"You know, I have been studying the Connor bloodline for centuries now, you could call me an expert in that department" Gloria said, "So I'm going to tell you what your future held, I feel like it's the least I could do".

"Rot in hell" Aria spat.

"I'm sure by now you know that there is a whole lot of prophecies when it comes to Connor witches" Gloria said, ignoring Aria's words, "And on the night of March the 15th, 1992, a very interesting prophecy was born, tell me Aria, do you know what's so special about that date?".

"It's the day I was born" Aria said, glaring at Gloria, if she was going to die, she wasn't going to die pleading.

"Correct" Gloria said, "The day you were born, a prophecy was born, regarding you, it was written that you were the only witch, who could have a child with a vampire, your child, would be the first tribrid, it would be a witch, a vampire and a banshee, but most of all that child would be the destruction of all witches".

"What?" Aria whispered, tears welling in her eyes.

"Don't worry, you don't have to worry about all that anymore" Gloria said, placing her knife above Aria's stomach, "I really wish this didn't have to happen, but it does Aria, you're too dangerous for this world, your powers should go to someone who knows how to use them".

Aria closed her eyes, she knew she couldn't do anything, so she just accepted it.

Gloria lifted her knife in the air, but before she could stab Aria, her heart was ripped out of her chest.

"I told you, me and my family will kill everyone who tries to harm Ariana".

"Nik" Aria sobbed.

"What did she do to you?" Klaus asked, breaking the chains around Aria.

"How are you here?" Aria asked.

"We heard your scream" Klaus said, helping Aria stand.

Stefan, Klaus and Rebekah were in the warehouse, draining girls out of their blood, when all of a sudden they heard a powerful scream, scream so powerful that it made all three of them fall to the floor, the second they heard it, they knew who it was. Klaus forced Rebekah and Stefan to stay in the warehouse while he went to Aria, and as much as they didn't want to, they knew Klaus would save her.

"Thank you" Aria said, hugging Klaus and sobbing into the hug, "Thank you".

"Shh, it's okay Ari" Klaus soothed, running his hand through Aria's hair, hoping to calm her down.

"She's alive Nik" Aria whispered, confusing Klaus.

"What?" Klaus asked confused.

"The reason as to why your hybrids are failing is because Elena's alive" Aria revealed, shocking Klaus, Aria figured since Klaus saved her life, she owed him, he deserved to know the truth, "I wanted to tell you, but Stefan told me not to, so I gave him three days time before I told you, please don't hate me Nik, I really wanted to tell you, but I didn't want you to hate me, please don't hate me".

"Ariana, calm down, you need to breath" Klaus said, seeing that Aria was close to having a panic attack.

"I can't--I can't breath" Aria said, having trouble breathing.

"Ari, come on, listen to my voice, stay with me, I don't hate you Ari, I could never hate you, I know when you hide something from me it's always for good cause" Klaus soothed.

Aria tried to focus on Klaus's voice, but it was proving very difficult, suddenly black dots started forming infront of Aria's eyes, and before she could realise, she fainted in Klaus's arms.

"No, no, no" Klaus whispered, "Please be okay, I can't lose my best friend, not this time".

"What happened to her?" A worried Rebekah asked, seeing Klaus carrying a unconscious Aria in his arms.

"Gloria did something to her" Klaus replied, glaring at Stefan.

"What?" Stefan asked curiously.

"You sure you want to know?" Klaus snapped, "You sure you care?!".

"What?" Rebekah asked confused, while Klaus very carefully laid Aria down on to the couch.

"See, before fainting Ari told me a very interesting fact" Klaus replied.

"Which was?" Stefan asked, suddenly very worried.

Klaus glared at Stefan, he speeded towards Stefan, he wrapped his hand around his neck and threw him into a wall.

"About the doppelganger being alive!" Klaus yelled, shocking Stefan.

"What? No--".

"Don't lie to me Stefan!" Klaus yelled, "I know you asked Ari to not tell me, you wanted her to put our relationship in jeopardy for you? But guess what, it's not that easy to separate Ariana from the Mikaelsons!".

"Klaus I--".

Before Stefan could finish his sentence, Rebekah speeded over to him and snapped his neck, "God, I wanted to do that since Ariana told me everything he did to her".

"Pack your bags Rebekah" Klaus said, "We are going back to Mystic Falls".

Alsooo, turns out Aria can have vampire babies, quick thing, Damon and Aria aren't going to have kids anytime soon, but I do want them to have kids, so I decided to explain how in this chapter, also their children would be tribrids!! Legacies spin off anyone? Okay I need to stop I'm getting ahead of myself sorry 😂🙈

Andd, in this chapter, Damon never attacked Bill Forbes, he just left town, also Damon never killed Alaric, but Alaric did join the council, and Stefan never asked Rebekah about Mikael, and they never kissed, Rebekah hates Stefan after finding out everything he did to Aria.
