Lukas' Pov:

"JESSE IS NO LONGER CHEERFUL AND GOOFY, HE'S BECOME AGGRESSIVE AND ABUSIVE!!!"

I was sitting on my bed with shock. I looked at Jess and she was sobbing hard. I bit my bottom lips and pulled her to me. She buried her head on my chest,I stroke her hair to calm her down. As she sobbed I began to think about what she said about Jesse.

"Jesse in no longer cheerful and goofy, he's become aggressive and abusive. Why did this happened? Jesse was a great friend and a good brother to Jess. Why would he change his cheerful ways?"

While these words ran around my mind Jess began to calm down and she fell asleep on my arms. I snapped out after a while. I looked at the clock. It said one O'clock in the morning.

"Was I lost in my mind for that long?"

I gently laid Jess on the bed and put her under covers. I smiled as I laid down next to her and kissed her forehead.

I woke up when I heard my phone buzz. I groaned and answered the phone.

"Ngh...Hello?"

"Lukas! It's Petra!"

"Ngh...You don't have to yell Petra. What's up?"

"Is Jess alright?! Is she awake!?"

"Relax Petra. She's fine, she's asleep right now."

"Phew, good. Can we come by your house to check on her?"

I looked at Jess, she was a sleeping angel. I knew she still needed time to recover.

"Not today. Jess still needs time to calm down."

"What happened?"

"Oh uh... I can't tell you now. I'll call you when I think she's calmed down. I want Jess to tell you...But she needs time to recover from you-know."

"Oh...I see. I guess we'll see you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow."

I hanged up and looked at Jess, she began to stir up. I watched as Jesse opened her eyes. Soon her emerald eyes stared at my ocean blue eyes.

"Morning" I said.

"Morning Lukas." She smiled.

"You feeling ok?"

"Yeah. Sorry for snapping on you last night."

I gave her a warm smile and kissed her forehead.

"Don't worry, It's fine."

She smiles and sits up. She tried to get up to walk, but her legs were still sore and weak, so she fell.

I quickly get up and help Jess get back on the bed.

"Jess, you're still weak, you need to rest."

She looks at me and sighs sadly. I kissed her cheek and gave her a warm smile. 

"I know it sucks, but after what happened you need to rest."

"Fine. I rest up still, although I do want to take a shower."

"You can't stand up, but you can take a bath."

"Better than nothing I guess." She joked and I chuckled.

"Need help?" I asked as she shook her head.

"I'll be fine, but now that you mention it, you can help me get to the bathroom."

I chuckled and helped Jesse. She had her arm around my neck and I helped her walk to the bathroom. When we got there, I opened the door and walked inside. Jess let go of me and putted her hands on the wall to help her get her balance.

"Thanks, now leave so I can take a bath."

"Fair enough. I will make breakfast for us in the mean time." I left the bathroom and closed the door behind me.

I began to make some pancakes for the both of us. With this she can regain her strength and energy. After a while I was done and I saw Jess struggle to come here. She wore the clothes I gave her. I walked to her and helped her walk to the table.

"Thanks Lukas."

I smiled at her. "Anything for my girl."

Jess giggled as I smirked. We sat down and had our pancakes. After we were done I cooped Jess up and took her to the living room. I sat her on the couch and kissed her cheek.

"I will clean up, you can watch television if you want."

Jess looked at me with a smile and she grabbed the collar of my shirt and she pulled me in for a kiss. I was surprised at first, but I eventually relaxed and kissed back. We pulled away and I went clean up.

Night time comes in quickly and I was really tired, I took off my shirt and black leather jacket to sleep more comfortable. I guess it's because I helped Jess a lot today. I was still awake though, no matter how tired I am, I can't sleep. Jess on the other hand she was fast asleep. I looked at her and smiled, she really looked like a beautiful angel when she's asleep.
