"So —" Rey planted her palms onto the desk, "did you find the whereabouts of Hux?"

"Yeah — kind of," Kylo shrugged.

"What do you mean?"

"I overheard some conversations. Apparently he's not working for Snoke anymore, I don't know why though, he was extremely loyal."

"Well what did you hear?"

"He apparently left the company, and changed his name."

"Do you know where we could find him?"

Kylo looked at her before handing her a piece of paper, "I stole it from Snoke."

"Where did you fins this?" Rey took it into her hands.

"Hux's file," Ren shrugged, "it wasn't hard to find. Hopefully he won't miss it."

Rey gave him a tight smile before glancing over the paper.

"Apparently he changed his name to Samuel and he lives in the next town over —"

"Alright, let's go then."

"Right now?"

"Yeah no time to waste. We have about less than a week."

"Okay, okay." Rey smirked before she headed to her beat up ear.

"Finally saved enough money for it," she patted the car affectionately before sitting down in the drivers seat.

"Now —" she glanced at herself in the mirror, "let's go get some answers!"

"Are we almost there?" Kylo asked her, his voice low.

"Yeah almost, god why did Hux have to move so far away!"

"If your roommates get worried because you're gone, you could just text them."

"Yeah if they were —" Rey looked away, "they still touchy about the whole incident. Things are kind of awkward between us! I just wish it could go back to normal." Rey's voice dropped and she sighed.

"I wish that too —" he turned to face her, "but it can't. It's too late now."

"Yeah that's what sucks about it," Rey mumbled.

After that the car went silent.

"We are here."

"Okay good, finally."

Rey glanced at him before parking across the street from Hux's supposed house. Hopefully they got the right place. She approached the door and knocked lightly.

"Hello?" She called through the small crack. Hopefully he would open the door or this whole trip would be for nothing.

"What do you want?" A voice hissed from the other side of the door.

"For you to open up."

"Who are you?"

"I'll tell you once you open the door Hux," she shot back icily using the name he went by when he worked for Snoke.

"So I'm guessing one of Snoke's slaves right? Must of taken you a lot of trouble to get me," she couldn't see him but she could tell he was smirking.

Rey sighed, "I'm not working for Snoke. My name is Rey and I have less than a week left to find evidence against Snoke, will you help me?"

The door slowly opened, "come on in," Hux smiled at her wearily.

Rey slowly walked into his house and settled on the couch. She put on her recording device once Hux wasn't looking.

She extended her hand to him as he sat across from her, "I'm Rey Kenobi I'm looking for evidence against Snoke to prove he ordered the death of the Solo-Organa family. I heard you've worked with Kylo, as in Kylo Ren?"

Hux paled, "Yes I have worked with him, we were friends until this whole girl thing came up," he sighed. "Back then I was extremely foolish yet loyal to Snoke. I should've listened to Kylo maybe if I did he wouldn't be dead."

"Wait you played a part in his death? I thought it was just Snoke and —"

"And you right? You were the girl who turned against Kylo and ended up killing him in the end. I'm glad you finally broke away from Snoke."

Rey managed a weak smile, but her eyes were still sad.

His continued, "he told me about you, he said you convinced him to be a better person. So the next day he left. Me and Snoke were furious at him, after all we gave him, he gave it all up, for some girl. Some girl who killed him in the end —"

Rey felt a pang in her chest and a surge of guilt each time he mentioned it.

"After Kylo's mother got involved I got even more angry. Soon after me and Snoke had a meeting. Like I said before I was foolish. I thought Snoke would treat me better and promote me, I was wrong. We talked about an assassination. He agreed happily to me idea of killing the family. But we didn't know who to send to kill him. Then I remembered you,the girl. So I told him who you were, and what you meant to kylo. From then on Snoke made you his and prepared you to kill Kylo and his family. That's what you did, we wanted your face to be the last Kylo saw before he died. We wanted him to feel the betrayal we felt when he left us. After that Snoke basically pushed me aside like I was garbage, I didn't get the promotion or respect I deserved. So I left and I've regretted this decision since, if only I hadn't been so jealous and hot headed. Maybe then will kylo be alive."

"It's not your fault —"

"If it isn't,who's fault is it then?" Hux looked at her expectedly.

"Snoke's and — mine."
