Wednesday morning
9:00 a.m.

Yanan didn't sit with you like he usually does.

He sat a row below you.

You let out a deep sigh and focused on the lecture until you felt a tap on your shoulder.

"Hey, what happened to you and Lover Boy down there?" The girl asks as she points to Yanan.

"Eh, he's mad at me," you sigh.

She nods her head and holds her hand out for you to shake.

"I'm Alexis, by the way."

"I'm Y/N, nice to meet you, Alexis."

You both shake hands and then continue listening to Mr. Woo go on and on about the origin of Literature.

After class, you gathered up all your stuff and were about to leave until you heard someone call after you.

"Y/N, wait up!"

You turned in the direction of the voice and smiled at the familiar face.

"Hey, Alexis!"

You looked up at Yanan, who was zipping up his bag.

He made eye contact with you for about a split second until he shook his head and trudged out of class.

You look down at the floor and let out a deep sigh.

"Okay, I'm ready. I just wanted you to wait for me," she says while hopping down the steps and slapping your shoulder in a playful way.

You smile at her as the two of you wave goodbye to Mr. Woo and walk into the crowded hallway.

"So, I guess I'll see you at lunch?" She asks.

You nod your head and smile.

"No doubt about it. See you later, Alexis." You wave goodbye and head towards the elevator.

As you walk towards the elevator, you stop as you see Yanan standing in front of it.

You turn in the other direction and try to figure out what to do.

You definitely didn't feel like taking the stairs again.

And if you waited until he got to the first floor and then for the elevator to come back up, you'd be late.

So, taking the elevator with Yanan was your only option.

You turned back around and took a deep breath as you walked towards the elevator.

You tried your hardest to avoid eye contact with him.

You looked down at the floor as you both waited for the elevator to arrive, in silence.

Once it arrived, you walked inside, still looking down at the ground.

Yanan reached over and clicked the button for elevator to arrive on the first floor.

You waited until after he returned to his original spot to click the button for your stop.

Afterwards, you lean against the wall of the elevator and look up at the ceiling.

The elevator reaches your floor and you walk out of the elevator and into the dance studio.

You set your bag down, grab your dance clothes, and run into the locker room to change.

"Okay, guys, let's finish this dance up," you say while placing your clothes in your bag.

Kimmi, Hobi, and Yoongi all run into their spots.

Still no Kino?

You shrug your shoulders and run into your spot, which was in the front.

You started up the music that goes to your dance.

"Five, six, seven, eight!"

You walked into the café and were greeted by Alexis.

"Hey, Y/N, what's up?"

You tapped your chin and smirked.

"Hm, I don't know. The sky, maybe?"

She pushed your shoulder playfully and smiled.

"Well, me and my friends are going to get lunch and eat outside. Wanna join in?"

Hmm?

"Sure!" You nodded your head yes and together, the two of you walked to the payment area to pay for your lunch.

You weren't really hungry so you decided to buy a burger, a bag of potato chips, and a soda.

After you got all your food, you were on your way to meet Alexis' friends but bumped into someone.

You looked up and saw Kimmi.

"Oh, hey, Kimmi. Meet my new friend Alexis," you say while pointing to her.

"Hi, nice to meet you. I'm her best friend Kimmi."

They shake hands and Alexis smiles at her but Kimmi doesn't smile back.

You smile faintly at Kimmi. "Tell Hobi that I'll be outside with Alexis and her friends. Just for today, though."

Alexis tugs on your arm and the both of you run outside.

"Meet my new friend Alexis."

Ugh.

I'm not jealous. I just don't Y/N to end up forgetting who her true friends are.

I mean, there's really nothing to be jealous of, when it comes to Alexis.

So what she's pretty? And has better brown hair than me?

And her outfits are nice.

I am NOT jealous.

Why would she even want to go outside anyways? It's getting very cold.

I roll my eyes and head over to to buy something to eat.

A turkey sub and a soda'll be nice.

After I finish paying for my lunch, I look around the café until I spot Hobi waving for me to come over.

"Where's Y/N?" He asks while I sit down and take my sandwich out of its wrapping.

"She made a new friend. And her name is Alexis. Today, she'll be joining her for lunch," I say as I take a bite out of my sandwich.

Hobi begins to laugh. "Kimmi, you sound hella jealous."

I drop my sandwich back down onto its wrapper and glare at him.

"Listen, Hobi. And you listen good. I am not jealous of Alexis. If that's who Y/N chooses to eat lunch with, then fine!" I yell as I storm off.

"Hey, can I have the rest your sandwich?" Hobi yells when I'm halfway through the door.

"Okay, dorks, we have a guest joining us for lunch today," Alexis announces as you both sit down with the rest of her friends.

"Hi, I'm Y/N. Nice to meet you all," you reveal as you wave and set your food down in your lap.

"Hello, Y/N, I'm Mae Sung," one of the friends say as she shakes your hand, excitedly.

You smile at her and drop hands.

"Sup, I'm Henry Sung. I'm that crazy ass's big brother," he says as he points back at Mae and laughs.

She pushes him, causing him to fall down onto the grass.

"I'm not that crazy! But, yes, that idiot is my brother," she sighs while dusting her hands off.

You chuckle and shake your head at them.

"I'm Yutani Hinata. Originally from Japan but moved here as a kid. It's nice to meet ya," she says while taking a sip of her coffee.

You smile at her. "And I'm Adam Cheng. Nice to meet you, Y/N." He grabs your hand and kisses it like the people do in movies.

Mae scoffs disgustedly at him and slaps his back.

"Adam, stop being so flirty! Y/N literally just met you," she yells.

You let out a small chuckle as you look up at the grey sky, inhaling the crisp air.

You let out a peaceful sigh as you look back down and unwrap your burger and take a bite.

"So, Y/N, tell us a bit about yourself," Alexis says while taking a bite out of her sandwich.

You dust your hands off and look back up at the sky.

"Hmm. Well, I'm a very great dancer, I live with my best friend Kim-Mi Young, and I call my mom Chu-Chu."

They all begin to nod to your description.

"I want to meet 'Chu-Chu'. Is she short and chubby?? That's what my grandma is like," Yutani shares as she claps her hands in excitement.

"Yutani, if she isn't busy after all of our classes are over for the day, you can meet her." You say while opening and taking a sip out of your soda.

"Oh, here, put your numbers in my phone so that we can text each other," you suddenly say while setting your food down to the side and taking your phone out of your pocket to give to them.

You hand it to Yutani and after she finishes, she passes it around until everyone finishes and it gets passed back to you.

Then which, you put it back in your pocket and place your food back onto your lap.

2:05 p.m.

After your last was over, you were filled with the utmost joy.

Not just because classes were over for the day, but because you and Yutani would get to see Chu-Chu.

You smiled to yourself as you took your phone out of your pocket and texted her.

yutani, meet me by the front desk and from there, we can walk to Chu-Chu's apartment.

You put your phone back in your pocket and skipped happily to the elevator.

"Hey, Y/N, long time no see." A familiar voice says while tapping you on the shoulder to get your attention.

You turn around in surprise and smile faintly at the person.

"Oh, hey, Hui."

You turn back around to face the elevator and click the button for it to arrive on this floor.

The two of you stood there, awkwardly, while waiting for the elevator.

"So, um, how've you been?" Hui asks while the two of you walk into the elevator, which just arrived.

You click the button inside the elevator and lean against the wall of the elevator.

"I've been fine, Hui. How've you been?"

You look up at him and let out a very small sigh.

"Look, I can't take this anymore! You and Yanan need to make up! I can't stand just being friends with him and not talking to you," he complains while running a hand through his hair in a stressed out way.

You look down at the floor. "Hui, I know. I wish it could go back to the way it was, too. But he's mad and there's nothing we or I can do to change that. All I can do is let him cool off."

"Yeah..." He mumbles while looking up at the ceiling.

As the elevator door opens, you see Yutani sitting down on a chair by the office, listening to music with her earbuds in her ears.

"Hey, Yutani! You ready to go?" You ask while walking over to her.

She smiles at you and looks over at Hui.

"Who's your friend?" She asks while taking the earbuds out of her ears and smiling at him.

"Oh, Yutani, this is my friend Hui. Hui, this is my new friend Yutani," you introduce.

They smile shyly at each other as they shake each others hands.

Aw, so cute~

"Um, so Y/N, I'll text you later," he says, still gazing at Yutani.

You snap your fingers in front of his face and laugh.

"Hui, I'm right here. And yeah, text me later," you chuckle.

"S–see you later, Yutani," he says shyly while waving goodbye.

She smiles and waves as he walks away.

"So, what do you think?" You ask while the two of you walk out of the building.

She looks down at the ground. "What do you mean?"

You look at her with a face that says; you know exactly what I mean, and place a hand on your hip.

She giggles. "Oh, about Hui? I mean, he is kind of cute."

You clap your hands together in excitement.

"Aw, you guys'd be so cute as a couple!"

She shakes her head at you and lets out a small chuckle as the two of you walk to Chu-Chu's apartment.

You look at Yutani very excitedly.

"Ready to meet Chu-Chu?"

She nods and claps her hands together, excitedly.

You smile at her and then knock on the door.

You swing your arms back and fourth, waiting, hoping Chu-Chu would open the door and greet the two of you.

The both of you got excited when you heard footsteps approaching the door.

"Y/N! It's great to see you again! And you've brought a friend with you," Chu-Chu cheers while opening the door and pulling you into a hug.

You looked back at Yutani, who looked amazed.

"Chu-Chu, this is my friend Yutani Hinata. I told her about you during lunch and she couldn't wait to finally meet you," you explained.

Chu-Chu let you go and smiled at Yutani.

"It's very nice to meet you, Yutani. Would you girls like something to eat or drink? I just baked cookies and made tea," she says while walking inside the apartment.

You and Yutani walk inside and close the door behind you.

It smelled wonderful inside the apartment.

It reminded you of when you were little and Chu-Chu would always help you make cookies for your friends in elementary school.

The process of making them would always be messy but the end result would be amazing.

You let out a small chuckle as you joined Yutani and Chu-Chu at the dining room table.

You gazed at freshly made plate of cookies sitting on the middle of the table before grabbing one and taking a huge bite out of it.

"Chu-Chu, t–these cookies are so good!" You exclaim as you take another bite.

She smiles at you and looks outside of window.

"Oh, my–look, girls, it's snowing!" You drop the cookie you were reaching for down and turned your head in the direction of the window.

You and Yutani gasped in unison as you both ran over to the window, faces practically glued to it.

"I can't believe it's snowing!" Yutani squealed as she pulled you into an excited hug.

You let out a deep sigh, wishing Yanan would've been the one to hug you.

To experience the snow with you.

To be with you.

You got up from the window and grabbed another cookie.

"Thank you, Chu-Chu. I, um, I should get going now. I'm feeling a bit tired," you say as you zip your jacket up.

She frowns a bit. "Is everything okay, Y/N?"

You nod your head yes and smile.

No.

Everything's not okay.

"I'm good, Chu-Chu. Yutani, are you going to stay or are you leaving, too?" You ask while walking towards the door, your hand on the doorknob.

She turns away from the window and looks at you.

"Um, I think I'm gonna stay for a bit. I just got here and I don't even know Chu-Chu that well. Text me when you get home, though."

You nod and smile faintly at the both of them before opening the door and walking out into cold.

You looked up at the grey sky, tiny snowflakes hitting your nose, causing you to giggle.

You wiped off your nose and walked back to your apartment.

"Have fun with Alexis?" Kimmi asks from on thr couch, legs crossed, as you open the door.

You tilt your head in confusion as you close and lock the door.

"I was out with Yutani. Not Alexis," you state as you slip off your shoes and unzip your jacket.

She nods her head slowly. "Oh, is Yutani another one of your new friends?"

You roll your eyes at her and walk to your room, slamming the door behind you.

Well, she jealous. But of what, though?

Just because I made a couple of new friends??

She and the guys are my BEST FRIENDS.

Alexis and the others are my FRIENDS.

So why is she being a bitch about it?

You roll your eyes once more as you lay down on your bed and take a nap.

Why is she being jealous? It's not like I'm going to replace her!

Whatever.
