Thursday morning
8:25 a.m.

Y/N's Outfit Of The Day:

You walk into the kitchen to make something to eat before you go.

You decide on just eating some toaster waffles.

You plug in your toaster and look in the fridge for the box of waffles you bought from the groccery store.

Once you find the waffles, you take four out of the box for you and Kimmi and put the first two in the toaster.

You set the other two down on the counter and walk towards Kimmi's room to see if she's hungry.

"Kimmi-ah, I'm making waffles. Are you hungry?" You ask while knocking on her door.

"Um, yeah sure. Thank you!" She responds.

You walk back into your room to grab your phone and backpack.

You set your backpack and phone down on the couch as you walk back into the kitchen to check on the waffles.

As soon as you walk into the kitchen, they just popped up from inside the toaster.

You grab a plate and quickly set the hot waffles on it.

Once the first two waffles are out of the way, you place the next two in the toaster.

You reach in your cabinet and grab the syrup.

"Kimmi, the waffles are ready," you yell as you set the syrup and her plate of waffles down on the table.

She skips happily out of her room and sniffs.

"Mmm. Y/N these smell good!" She says as she sits down at the table.

"Well, Kimmi, you can thank the company who made them. All I did was put them in a toaster," you say as you laugh.

She smiles and rolls her eyes as she turns back around and pours syrup on her waffles.

As you wait for your waffles to cook, you decide to text Yanan.

______

Yanan (/^.^)/

You:
goood morningg! 🌞
8:37 a.m.

____

You set your phone back down on the counter and take your waffles out of the toaster.

You set them on a plate and set them on the dining room table.

You pour yourself a cup of orange juice and sit back down.

You take a bite of your waffles and look at Kimmi, who's already eaten half of her waffles.

You take a sip of orange juice but almost choke when you hear a loud knock on the door.

Kimmi laughs at you as she gets up to hand you a napkin.

You wipe your face off and glare at her as you walk over to the front door to see who was at the door.

You look through the peephole and then open the door.

"Hey, Yanan! What are you–?"

Before you could even finish your sentence, Yanan pulls your waist towards him and kisses you passionately.

You can hear Kimmi gasp and cheer in the background but you just zone her out.

You pull away from the kiss and look him in the eyes.

You were lost for words.

He looked at you and smiled.

Kimmi walked over to you two and scrunched her nose.

"Yah, get a room, you two!"

The three of you laugh as Yanan closes the door and you guys walk into the dining room.

You grab Yanan's hand and walk into the hallway. (inside your apartment)

"Y–Yanan, what was that for?"

He scratches the back of his neck and smiles at the ground.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know what I was thinking..." He says as he bows in an apologetic manner.

You shake your head. "No, Yanan, I'm not mad at you. No need to be sorry," you say as you smile at him.

"It's just... yesterday, before Hongseok texted me, I was gonna tell you."

You tilt your head in confusion.

"Tell me what?"

"...That I–I...I like you, Y/N."

You cover your mouth in shock.

He looks up at you and then looks away.

"Ah, I knew I shouldn't have said anything. This is such a bad timing..."

You pull him into a hug.

"No, Yanan, this was perfect timing."

"It was?"

You look up at him and smile.

"Yes, it was. Because...I kinda like you too, idiot."

He grins at you before you plant a kiss on his lips.

Kimmi peeks her head around the corner and lets out a groan.

"For god's sake! GET. A. ROOM!"

You both pull away from the kiss and laugh at her.

She rolls her eyes and smiles at you.

"I'm glad to see you happy again, Y/N."

You smile at her as she returns back to the table.

Yanan runs a hand through your hair and smiles.

"Are you ready for tomorrow?"

I almost forgot! Tomorrow's our date!

You nod your head yes and smiled.

You let go of him and leaned against the wall.

"Where are the rest of the guys?" You ask.

"Oh, um, I told them I was gonna pick you guys up today. I just wanted to see you again," he responds.

You blush a bit so you look down at the floor.

He lets out a small laugh. "You're so cute, Y/N."

You look up at him and scrunch up your nose.

"Hey, don't call me cute!"

He walks over to you and pats your head.

"We should get going," he says as he walks into the living room and leans on the couch.

You walk into the living room as well.

"Oh, Yanan, are you hungry?"

He shakes he head no and smiles.

"Nah, I'm okay. I had breakfast at home."

You nod your head and drink the rest of your orange juice.

"Kimmi, do you want the rest of my waffl–?"

Before you could even finish your sentence, she grabbed your plate and scraped your leftover waffles onto her plate.

You smiled at her and shake your head as you put your plate in the sink.

After Kimmi finishes, she puts her plate in the sink and puts her backpack on.

You put yours on too and look over at Kimmi.

"Kimmi, do you have everything?"

She nods her head and smiles.

"Okay. I'm gonna trust you," you say as you put your phone in your pocket.

Yanan grabs his keys and you guys walk to his car.

You make sure to close and lock your door before walking outside.

You walk outside to his car and hop into the front seat.

Yanan smiles at you as you buckle your seatbelt.

"So, you guys ready to go?" He asks as he looks at Kimmi through the rear view mirror.

She nods as he begins to drive off to school.

When you guys hit a stop light, you turn towards Yanan.

"Hey, Yanan?"

He turns to you then looks back at the road. "Hm?"

"W–which amusement park are we going to for our 'date?'"

He smiles. "Um, it's Lotte World."

A sudden wave of horror washes over you as you turn back around and lay your face on the cool window.

Lotte World is the same place Yoongi took me on our first official date...

You let out a long sigh as you cut on your phone and reminisce on the old pictures of you and him.

Why couldn't our relationship stay good?

Why'd it have to fall apart so quickly?

Just looking at the first picture of you and him is making your eyes water.

Kimmi looks at you from over in her seat and puts a hand on your shoulder.

You turn around to look at her and she smiles faintly at you.

You smile faintly back at her and lay your head back on the cold window.

Things'll get better?

Right...?

_______

Once you guys arrive at the school's parking lot, the car comes to a stop.

Yanan puts the car in park as you guys all leave the car.

He locks the car and looks at you.

You were lost in your thoughts and still kind of gloomy about what happened yesterday.

You came back to reality as Yanan pulled you into an embrace.

You sighed as you laid your head in the crook of his neck.

He rubbed your back and whispered into your ear.

"Y/N, it'll be okay."

But, will it really?

You pull away from his embrace and smile faintly at him.

Kimmi walks up to you and ruffles your hair playfully.

"Yah, cheer up, you fool," she says as she smiles at you.

You fix your hair as you push her playfully.

______

After Mr. Woo's class is over, you gather up all your stuff and were on your way out until Mr. Woo stopped you.

"Hey, Ms. L/N, can I have a word with you?" You look at Yanan as he looks over at you with concern.

"Mr. Woo, is everything okay?"

Mr. Woo walks over to Yanan and puts a hand on his shoulder as they slowly walk towards the door.

"Mr. Yanan, I assure that everything is fine. I just wanted to speak to Y/N for a second. Head to class. I don't want you to be late."

Yanan looks at you over his shoulder and waves goodbye.

Mr. Woo walked back over to his desk and told you to take a seat as well.

You sat your bag down next to you as you sat down.

"Okay, Ms. L/N, do you know why I want to talk to you?"

You shook your head no.

"Well, Y/N, you are an amazing student, one of the best ones I have ever taught, but today you seem kind of, um how do I put this, off?"

'Off?'

You raise an eyebrow. "Can you explain what you mean by me being off, Mr. Woo?"

"Well, Y/N, usually you have your hand up all the time to answer my questions during class and are very alert. But today, you seemed very gloomy and uninterested. Is everything okay?"

You let out a small groan.

"Mr. Woo, I'm fine. Okay? Why does everyone keep asking me that?! I'm fine! Can I go now?" You say as you cross your arms and look at the door.

He clears he throat and adjusts his glasses.

"W–well, if you're sure you're fine then yes, you can go. Just let me write you a pass for your next class."

After he finishes writing your pass, you shove it in your pocket, fling your backpack on, and walk to the elevator.

As you get on the elevator, you pull your baseball cap down over your head and lean against the wall.

Once the elevator arrives on your floor, you walk into the studio and hand your pass to Mrs. Po.

She thanks you for the pass and tells you to go change.

You nod and walk over to put your bag down.

Kino, Kimmi, and Hobi all run over to you.

"Y/N, where have you been?"

You ignore their question and continue to dig around in your bag for you dance clothes.

You zip up your bag and get up.

"I had to talk with Mr. Po, he was worried about my behavior but I told him I was fine."

They all nod at you as you walk to the locker room to get changed.

Kimmi

I turn to the others and sigh.

"She obviously isn't fine. She seems very irritable and gloomy. It's like a mixture of the two."

Kino leans towards me and whispers in my ear.

"Is she on her period?"

I push him away and laugh.

"Kino, you don't ask people things like that! It's weird!"

Him and Hobi laugh.

Hobi clears his throat. "But, yeah. She doesn't seem like the Y/N I know. Should we talk to her?"

I shake my head no.

If we do talk to her, she'll get annoyed and probably shut us out.

It's best to just leave her alone and let her come to us.

Not the other way around.

I look over at Yoongi, who's sitting down over at the other side of the room on his phone.

"Yoongi, come on! We need to practice!" I yell.

He groans and walks over to us.

"I don't care if you don't want to. We're not failing because of your issues. So fix your attitude or I'll kick your ass."

He rolls his eyes and begins to stretch.

I turn around and look at a now terrified Kino and Hobi.

I shake my head as I tell them to get to their spots.

They don't hesitate, either. I guess I scared them.

Good.

Y/N

As I walk out of the locker room, I see that Kimmi has already gotten everyone to their spots.

I walk over to my bag and put my original clothes inside.

"Okay, guys, let's get to practicing," you say as you run to your spot in the center.

You close your eyes and sigh.

Ignore Yoongi. Ignore him, Y/N. Don't let him get to you.

If he wants to shut you out, then you shut him out too.

IGNORE HIM.

You open you eyes and push a strand of hair out of your face.

"Okay, copy my steps. Five. Six. Seven. Eight."

After you show them your new steps, you ask for them to show you the steps one by one.

You ask Kino to show you the steps first.

"Five. Six. Seven. Eight!"

You nod in approval as he walks back over to the others.

It was Kimmi's turn. She looked at you and smiled.

"Five. Six. Seven. Eight!"

After she did her moves, you applauded her.

Hobi walked to where Kimni was and did the moves just as excellent as the others.

"Good job, you three. You're all improving so much."

They all smile at each other.

You dreaded Yoongi's turn.

There was obvious tensiom between you two.

You didn't bother to look at him so you just stared at the floor.

"U–um, so are you ready?" You ask.

No matter how much you wanted to avoid eye contact, you were the leader of the group and had to look at each and every one of your members.

Whether you wanted to or not.

Relunctantly, you looked up at Yoongi, who was staring at you but then looked away when you caught him.

You heard Kimmi chuckle softly which made you chuckle a bit too.

"Okay, let's get this over with. Five! Six! Seven! Eight!"

You couldn't help but notice how on one of the steps, his foot went a bit too far off to the left and his arms weren't high enough.

You cleared your throat. "Uhm, Yoongi, you did great but there's a couple of things you could fix."

He wiped the sweat off of his forehead with his sleeve and looked at you.

"What do I need to fix, Y/N?"

You let out a very small sigh and walked towards him.

"Well, when you did one of the steps, your foot went a little too far to the left and your arm wasn't quite as elevated as I wanted it to be," you explained.

He did the steps over but still made the same mistakes.

"Ah, no. Um–"

You walked behind him and grabbed his arm.

You could feel you face get hot and surprisingly, you could see his pale face get red in the mirror, too.

You took a deep breath as you latched your hands onto his wrists.

"O–okay, so you're gonna want to stretch your arms out more like t–this..." You stretch his arms out more.

He nods and stares at you in the mirror.

"And then for your feet–"

You crouch down and move his feet over just a tad bit.

"Got it?" You ask as you get back up and dust your hands off.

He nods nervously, looking down at the ground.

"Okay, let's try this again. Five. Six. Seven. Eight."

As he does the steps again, you analyze him.

Making sure he does what you just showed him.

After he finished, he looks at you but you were too busy staring at him in the mirror.

Kimmi snapped her fingers at you and it caught your attention.

"Oh, um, g–good job, babe. I–I m– mean, Yoongi..." You stammer as you quickly walk into the bathroom to get yourself together.

You stumbled into the bathroom and splashed some cold water onto your face.

As you looked up at yourself in the mirror, you sighed.

Y/N, what happened to "Ignoring Yoongi?"

What happened to "Not letting him get to you?"

What happened?

You grabbed a paper towel and dried your face off.

You heard the door open and close as you dried your face off.

You removed the paper towel from off of your face and looked behind you.

"Oh, hey, Kimmi..." You said as you leaned against the sink.

She leaned against the door.

"Y/N, what the hell?"

You sigh and look down at the ground.

"I know... I know..."

She walks towards you lets out a small groan.

"No, Y/N, apparently you don't! Why can't you just let him go?"

The tone in her voice grew bitter. You've never heard his voice that angry before.

So it took you by surprise.

"Kimmi, why are you acting like this...?"

"No, Y/N, why are you acting like this?!"

"This is becoming very annoying. Everyday, he either misses you or you miss him. And I can't take it anymore."

You look up at her in disbelief.

"Kimmi, what's gotten into you? Why are you being so bitter? You know how hard this is for me and Yoongi. Show a little sympathy," you hiss.

She scoffs at you. "'Show a little sympathy'? Y/N, I've been your friend for a very long time. I've gone through hell and back with you. I've put up with all your bad habits, all your many nights of crying, everything. I've shown more than enough sympathy!"

Tears begin to brim in your eyes.

You try and blink them back but it's not use. They're already begining to fall down your cheeks slowly.

"Kimmi, I'm sorry..."

She walks over to the door and then looks at you.

"You should be, Y/N. Get your act together. And stop doing these things to yourself. Just forget about Yoongi. It's tearing you apart and I hate to see you like this. We're all here for you, okay?"

You nod, still looking down at the floor.

She walks out of the bathroom.

You break out into sobs.

She's right. He's tearing me apart. I knew it from the moment I started liking him.

He was trouble. But for some reason, I couldn't resist him.

So I went along with those temptations.

And here we are now. A big mess. An emotional wreck.

What would've happened if I never met you, Yoongi?

If we never kissed? If we never bumped into each other on the street that morning?

If I never signed up for dance?

If we were never dance partners?

If you never confessed to me that you loved me?

If I never loved you back?

What if?

You turn back around towards the mirror and stare at yourself.

Your eyes were bloodshot from all of your crying.

You had tears still falling down your face.

And your face was all pink and puffy.

You turned on the sink and splashed water on your face to help reduce the redness and puffiness.

You cut off the water and grabbed a paper towel.

You dry your face off and let out one last sigh before walking out of the bathroom and back into the studio.

You pull you hat down over your head so that making eye contact could be easily avoided.

You walk nervously back over to the others and sigh.

"Um, guys, work on the choreo for a bit without me. I need a minute," you say as you walk over to your bag and sit down with your bag to the others and grab your phone out of your bag.

You decided to call Chu-Chu since you couldn't run to her and tell her about your problems.

You walked over to the corner of the room and dialed her number.

When she finally picked up, you let out a small sigh in relief.

"Chu-Chu?"

"Y/N, shouldn't you be in class, dear?"

You sit down and close your eyes.

"Eomma, I am. I just needed a break from my dancing for a minute. I needed comfort."

You can hear her sigh from the other line.

"Aw, Y/N, what's the matter? Is everything okay?"

"No, Eomma, and that's the problem. I want everything to be but at this point, I don't it'll ever be okay again."

"Tell me what happened, Y/N."

You take a deep breath and tell her everything.

From the first day of college to just a few minutes ago with the whole "babe" incident.

"Aw, Y/N, that sounds terrible. Have you tried talking things out with Yoongi? Maybe he'll wanna hear something other than what you usually say to him."

Even if you did want to talk things out with him, it wouldn't make a difference.

He said it himself that he doesn't want to talk to you ever again. There'd be no point in trying.

"Okay, Chu-Chu, I'll talk to him," you lied.

"Okay, Y/N, I'll talk to you later. Now go back to your dancing. I don't want you to get in trouble."

"Mkay, see you later, Chu-Chu," you say as you hang up your phone.

You adjust your hat and walk back over to your bag to put your phone away.

"Y/N?"

You turn around only to see Yoongi standing there, staring at you in sadness.

"Min Yoongi."

He scratches the back of his neck and sighs.

"Y/N, are you okay?"

You couldn't believe he's asking you if you're okay.

He's the one who's causing you to be the way you are today.

Stressed, constantly upset, annoyed, angry, confused. Basically everything.

You roll your eyes and shake your head.

"Yoongi, please leave me alone," you say as you try and walk past him but he steps in front of you, preventing you to walk any further.

He lowers his head and rubs his eye.

"Yoongi, what are you doing? Move."

He raises his head and shakes his head no.

"No?"

"No, Y/N, look, we need to talk. I know I said I never wanted to see or talk to you again but we both know that that was never going to last."

You place your hand on your hip and roll your eyes out of annoyance.

"Yoongi, I'm not in the mood to talk to you. Now, please move before you get me in tr–!"

Before you could even finish your sentence, he grabbed your hand and led you outside of the studio and to the end of the hallway.

You yanked your hand away from him and groaned.

"Yoongi, what part of what I just said did you not get??" You yell as you narrow your eyes at him.

He leans against the wall and puts his hands in the pockets of his shorts.

"Y/N, look, I'm sorry. For everything..."

Your lips parted but no words came out.

"Honestly, I really am. And I really mean it this time. I know that I've fucked up and I've been tearing you apart. I see it everytime you look at me. You miss me like I miss you but we can never be together anymore."

"I'm just a walking heartbreaker. I just want you to know that no matter what I say to you, no matter how long I ignore you, no matter how many times we argue, that I'm sorry."

Aish, he's doing it again.

He's making me miss him.

You wipe away the newly formed tears in your eyes and look up at him.

"Yoongi, I don't know if I should even accept your apology. Or any other of your apologies. It's all fake. Fake. Do you just expect me to get back together with you? To love you again?"

"Like you said, we can't keep doing this to each other. I love you, more than you can imagine. But, you're no good for me. All you do is confuse me and stress me out and make me cry. I get that you're sorry. I truly do. But I'm not ready to forgive you. I'm no where near ready. You've put me through so much. I can't just sweep it under the rug and pretend it didn't happen."

You get up and dust the back of your shorts off.

"I need space, Yoongi. I need time to heal. To be happy. To be stress-free. And to be away from you."

You shoot him a sorry look as you head back into the studio.

You stand by the door and let out a sigh in relief.

Maybe that was for the best.

You can finally be happy.

Free to be with who you want and not have to worry about him and how he'll react.

Free to be you again.

The ambitious dancer with friends and family who'll support her decisions 100%.

You smile to yourself as you walk back over to the others.

"What're you so suddenly happy about?" Hobi asks as he playfully nudges at your shoulder.

You take off your hat and slide it over to where your bag is.

"Just happy to be my happy 'ol self again," you say as everyone smiles at you.

Happy to be me.
