you woke up from a deep slumber. the blackish gray (a/n: do you guys say grey or gray?) sheets covering your whole body. you slipped your legs out from under the covers, shivering from the subtle cold.

you grabbed your phone checking the time, it reading:

11:23 AM

you set your phone down laying on your back before realizing it was valentine's day. you sat up, groaning a bit before getting up and putting a shirt and shorts on.

you walked down the stairs seeing colby at the stove, trying to cook something. you walked over and hugged him from behind, kissing him on his back.

he turned around slowly and kissed you passionately, smiling.

"good morning, beautiful. i'm was trying to make pancakes for us." he chuckled, turning back around to cook it. you walked over seeing some burnt.

"here," you took the pan and stuff from his hand, "go sit down. i got this."

he smiled kissing your cheek, "happy valentine's day." he gently said in your ear, you turned to him giving a quick peck to his lips saying the same thing back.

after making and eating the breakfast, you both decided to just have a cuddling movie sesh for valentine's day.

you both went out to go shopping for some things. you decided to go to target since they usually have good snacks and things there.

"y/n, look." colby said as you walked around, leaned on the cart. you looked over and saw him with a big bear.

"cute. it's bigger than you." you smiled.

"in what way?" he smirked. "i'm getting this for you." you just chuckled shaking your head before waking around more.

"no you're not, put it back." you looked through the movies, seeing colby walk over to you.

"and a bucket of roses, with 10 boxes of chocolates." he day dreamed. you smiled at him, "what?"

"you're just so cute." you scrunched his cheeks making him smile his beautiful smile. he put the bear in the cart. "put it back."

"no."

"yes."

"no."

"cole-" you started to say until you heard a male voice behind you. you turned around seeing a guy around your age, very familiar.

"y/n?" he stared at you. you stared at him looking all over before realizing...

"holy shit, luis!" you squealed. you both hugged a deep hug since you haven't seen each other in forever.

"wow, look at you. it's been what? 3 years? you've changed sooo much." he smiled, pulling back from the hug.

"i know. and you've grown- you're taller than me now!" you laughed. he laughed back, "oh and this is my boyfriend, colby."

colbys arms wrapped around your waist as he walked over. he took his hand out shaking luis's.

"nice to meet you man. i'm luis." luis smiled.

"colby." he took his hand away. colbys jaw was clenched ever so slightly, you could tell he was jealous.

"so how's you and uh, ugh what's his name? i keep forgetting." you asked, trying to get rid of the awkward tension.

"oh yeah , jake. well we parted awhile back.. he cheated." luis exclaimed.

"oh my god, i'm so sorry." you covered your mouth. colby had a bit of sorrow when he realized that luis was gay.

"eh, it was no big deal. i met a mother guy though. his names jonathan. really hot." he rolled his eyes and opened his mouth pretending to be in love with him.

you laughed slightly. "i got a new number by the way, here." you pulled your phone out so he could put his contact in.

"good. now we can talk all about our mans." he winked and chuckled. you smiled before hugging him bye one last time and walking over to colby.

"if i knew he was gay i would of made a better impression." he smiled. he wrapped his arms around your waist while walking around the store more.

"you're fine. he was my best friend in 7th to 12th grade then we parted our ways but, i think he likes you." you pushed his chest. colby rolled his eyes smiling.

"oh who wouldn't?" he smiled. you laughed pushing his chest.

he ran over to a kids aisle with a bunch of light sabers and toys. you walked around the corner getting stopped by colby standing mid way throwing a light saber around. you walked around the cart grabbing a blue one turning it on and getting in stance. he did the same and you started to play fight in the middle of the store.

you poked his stomach making him fake like he was dying. you started to crack up from how much fun you were having.

"okay okay, we actually have to get stuff now." you said going back to the cart.

it was about an hour or so when you guys finally left the store. you got new blankets, a few movies, candies and of course colby got you that huge bear.

once you got home you ran inside side putting the blankets and bear on the couch while colby made the popcorn and hot the candy ready, you put the first movie in. you laid down on the couch, your body resting against the bear. colby ran over and laid next to you putting the snacks and drinks on the table.

"i'm so ready." he said as he laid under the blankets, holding your waist.

you decided to watch a scary movie. colby, was terrified of them. hated jump scares, always screamed, didn't like spooky things. you, on the other hand, LOVED to be scared. it was a good feeling for you since you've loved paranormal, conspiracies etc.

his head laid on your chest as your hands ran through his hair. you started the movie and that's all you did for valentine's, except when colby went out at 1AM and came back with a bundle of roses saying:

"it's not valentine's day anymore but i still thought you'd deserve these."
