"sunset. or sunrise?" colby put down his phone looking at the camera before staring at you. you bit your lip leaning back in your chair.

"that's a hard question but i'd have to go with sunset." you said looking at colby.

"good to know."

1 week later

you and colby were chilling on the couch. your legs across his thighs while you laid down and watched tv. a warm blanket was over you when you felt it get tugged on, looking over seeing colby leaning his head back and look at you.

"yes?" you sat up. he turned the tv off and smirked. you smirked back leaning in for a kiss when you felt colby stand up making you put your hands in your lap.

"hey! that was mean." you put your legs over, after colby walked around the corner and into the kitchen.

"HOLY SHIT IT'S 5:30!" he said. he ran to the little opening to the living room, you giving him a confused look. he just smiled before saying 'let's go' and running upstairs.

"colby what-" you stopped yourself seeing he was already almost up there. you smiled before walking up after him.

halfway up you hear shuffling and saw colby trying to put a ladder up to the roof. you looked at him confused as ever seeing him climb it and open the thing up.

he came back down and looked at you. he nodded his head up and smiled at you. "what is this?"

"trust me." he put out his hand with a blindfold and you took it with all your trust. you put the blindfold around your eyes and he helped you up the ladder.

"are you ready?" colby asked as you both were standing on the roof of your house. you nodded colby's hands on your blindfold, before he unwrapped it and you kept you eyes closed.

colby tilted his head so he could see you, since he was behind you. you opened your eyes seeing the sky having a bright orange and pink shade with a dark dull cover around it. your eyes were amazed by the sight in front of you.

"woah." your breath was taken away. colby smiled and walked over to a little blanket area. "did you- no." you pointed at him.

he put his hands up, and shrugged. "anything for my princess. i heard you loved sunsets."

you walked over not knowing what to say, sitting down next to colby. you rested your head on colby's shoulder, smiling from happiness.

after awhile you were adjusted so you were laying on colbys chest, between his legs. you were laughing and joking around showing him random videos. his hands rested on your stomach playing with your hoodie strings.

"i love you." you looked up at him. he looked down from the almost over sunset smiling.

"i love you too." he kissed your lips which led you to move and turn around pushing his chest down. he laid on his back making you straddle his waist and connect your lips back together.

"i don't think up here is a good idea to finish this." colby smirked. you just laughed getting off of him looking at the now dark sky. you helped him, picking up things before walking back down to his room.

you closed the door and turned the light on. colby pushed you against the door kissing down your neck. you pushed him off you smiling before turning the small red christmas lights on and coming back.

you pushed him back this time connecting your lips while turning the lights off.
