"y/n, are you ready?" Colby yelled from the bottom step of the stairs. You stood up from the bed, once you finished tying your shoes, and walked out of the room after grabbing your phone. You jogged down the stairs seeing Colby looking through his phone, rested against the wall.

"Ready, dork?" You laughed. You hit his arm a bit, making him look at you.

"Yep, yep. They're all waiting in the car."

"Did you grab the oujia board." Colby nodded. "Alright, lets go."

Once you all parked and got out, you met up and started walking towards the entrance.

You wrapped your arms around yourself at how cold it was. Colby's black hoodie that you wore was enough for you to feel a bit of comfort in this situation.

"Why do we always come to placed that could kill us or where we might get killed. Why can't we go to chucky cheeses or something..." corey's voice trembled from how terrified he was, and how cold the outside world was. We all laughed a bit, before we all looked around, admiring the atmosphere.

"Um, chucky is scary. I would rather be HERE, than there. That rapist rat." You said enough for everyone to hear you. Heath started to choke of laughter from your comment making people laugh.

You all stopped when a low whisper was heard from everyone. Everyone became quiet and looked around at each other. "Who did it?" Elton asked. Everyone looked around, shaking their heads at one another.

"Okay.. okay. Let's just- oh I don't want to do this!" Corey said hopping around.

We all started to talk about random stuff, corey acting out making us laugh, and making jokes to help us concentrate on a different subject.

it was about 20 minutes before we actually started to walk down the stairs towards the bottom of the bridge. You all sat in a little area right under the bridge, everyone saying to get the oujia board out.

Once it was out heath, Elton, Colby, sam, Amanda and You sat in a small circle around each other and started to play with the board.

"if there are any spirits that would like to contact us, please do." You spoke softly. The board did nothing. You all stared at the bored for a bit when you heard a deep yell and all looks at Amanda who screamed. Elton came up behind her and yelled scaring all of you. You snuggled your head more into Colby making his arm wrap around you.

"You're okay.." he whispered in your ear kissing your head lightly. You nodded, everyone's fingers not going off the planchet.

"Try it again. Corey come on, it only works with you!" Sam said. Corey argued with himself whether he should do it or stay neutral. After a while he decided to join, switching spots with Elton.

"Is any one here." Corey asked once you all got situated.

You sat there for another 2 minutes- no response. "I don't understand." You said taking your hands off the planchet, gingerly. Everyone started to follow your actions and talked amongst each other.

"Woah woah!" Corey yelled. Everyone looked at him as he pointed tot he planchet that was loving by itself. All of a sudden it flung towards sam making him scramble to his feet-

colby followed in suite, pulling me up beside him. i didn't say anything, my mouth dry from lack of words. elton didn't move a muscle, just stared softly at the board, his eyes slowly moving around in the darkness. amanda jumped up a little later, wiping off her short bottoms and running her hand through her hair. "are we just going to pretend that didn't happen or what?"

i shrug. "what else could we do? pack up and leave?"

"uh, yes!" corey interfered. his eyes were wide with fear but he stayed where he sat, his body too scared and paralyzed to move, even if we did leave. elton scoffed from his spot on the ground.

"corey we're not fucking leaving so stop trying to persuade us." he said, reaching back and picking up the planchet. "it's not working, now come on, let's try this again." i roll my eyes as i sat down with colby. i was really wishing we could go to chucky cheese now.

elton placed the planchet on the board, resting his two fingers on top, slowly and carefully. we all followed his actions. corey of course hesitated, thought it through, but eventually placed his fingers on the small piece of wood. "did you throw the planchet?" elton asked. again, nothin happened, colby sighed.

"this shit isn't working. it's just gonna throw it again." my eyes steadily watched the piece, making sure i didn't miss anything, watching the tension on everyone's finger tips.

"give it time." elton said. and as if those were the magic words, the piece slowly slid across the stained wood, the eye piece landing on yes. corey gasped expectedly. colby dead pans him but smiles. "are we making you mad?" again, the piece hesitated, before moving the piece to yes.

with my eyes on the board, i couldn't see anyone straining to move the piece as elton continued to ask questions. but the piece felt heavier, as if someone had put their whole weight on it. i push the thought away, letting all this get to my head was just freakin me out more than i already was. my arms felt tensed up and not because it was cool outside, but it felt as if the air was heavier. heavier with presences that i can't explain, but i knew i wasn't the only one who felt it.

i met eyes with corey, ones that held fear as he slowly moved them back down to the board. "do you want to hurt us?" he asked the board slowly moved to the yes before beginning to spell out a name. it went slowly, moving to each letter carefully before stopping and restarting. every time it restarted, it got faster. quickly moving across the board in the same order as before. my heart race picked up, my throat felt tight and i wanted to cry.

"y/n." everyone said out loud, except for myself. i look up at elton who held his camera at me. "oh shit."
