Entry 2
You know-I've traveled all over Faerûn. From the sharp cliffs and cold Forest of the sword coast, to the desolate wastes the Raurin desert. I've seen mountains that touch the sky and the sea. I've seen rivers a half mile wide, Forests so dense 3 meters in you can't see the edge. And for over 100 years I had never seen the land that my mother described as our home. It took a great amount of power and calling in the favors of 2 gods to get me to the place called my mother told me of. She described it as a world of little sun, towering mountains, and hard working people.
She said I wouldn't find my father there, but that I would meet people who knew how to find him. It's almost as if she knew she'd never survive to see it again.
