Chapter 37

Kira's pov

"Wow, i'm so glad you are back" Bessie screams as she comes to hug me, she never ceases to  amaze me with her talking abilities, sincerely speaking she fucking talks a lot

Richard and Rhoda are also here and come to hug me as well.  Fred almost swallowed me whole when he saw me, i missed him so much as well but i was kinda scared that bit was a long break so there was a possibility that he already found someone else but thank God that he still thinks about me, anyways he can never find anyone like me so he better stick his ass up with me.

As soon as the well-wishers leave , remaining Rhoda, Bessie and Fred they start ransacking my load looking for what to take especially Bessie , it was as if she was the one who sent me there ..It's kind of cool though, that's how friends are anyways

"Lest i forget. "Rhoda says as she raises and waves her finger up in the air for me to see and it takes me almost a minute to identify what she was showing me

"Holy crap. You are engaged? I scream in excitement

"Yes baby girl "she answers excitedly raising and swinging her fingers up in the air. I feel so happy for her , like I'm sincerely happy for her , and right now i feel no pang of jealousy as it already dawned on me that i and Richard  are not meant for each other so we shouldn't even be together

"Wow, I'm so glad for you "i admit as i give her a bear hug "what about you Bessie "i ask facing Bessie

"I don't know what's wrong with Collins , i don't think that he has the nerves yet , i really don't understand actually but I'm still hoping for the best anyway  "she concludes with her ever obvious smile

"Same here, congratulations one more time Rhode "i say to her hugging her again, and i hope she sees it that I'm really happy for her, in fact i have no reason not to be.

"Hell no.. I took that gown first, so Rhoda just drop it now, Kira is that not so?" Bessie says to me as soon as Rhoda picks out a lemon gown that i bought specially for her

"And when on earth did you start loving color lemon because i don't understand why you are arguing about something that's obvious already, why on earth would i get you a lemon colored gown?" I conclude responding to her question fully and watch as her face changes to a disappointed one and Rhoda makes a face at her and takes the gown outside.

" Kira , i overheard when Rhoda was telling you that she was engaged already , so when are you going to get engaged?" My mum asks in the night as everyone already left before evening including Rhoda and the tattler

"Mum , I have no idea as well , I'm just hoping for the best , that's all "i reply her suddenly wondering why she decided to bring up a topic like this at this type of time , like it was extremely weird .. Very weird

"What's the relationship between you and Fred?"

"Mum, we are dating "

"So what's keeping you guys from getting married , time and tide waits for no man my princess "

"But mum..."

"What don't mum me "

"Mum, he hasn't even proposed yet, he's probably scared or hasn't summoned enough courage yet "

"Then what's holding you back "

"From doing what mum?" I ask somewhat confused and hoping that she doesn't mean what I'm thinking

"What's stopping you from proposing?" She asks again confirming my thoughts.

"What the fuck mum, how on earth am i gonna do that, it's totally creepy, you of all people should know the behavior and mentality of the people of this country that they see things upside down "

"It's not like you guys are gonna go about announcing or something, so stop being creepy yourself, it's only going to be within the both of you that you were the one that proposed "

"But mum, i still find the idea totally creepy, no matter how much you defend it "i say rolling my eyes at her at the totally creepy idea she's offering

"Creepy or not, you should know that i won't tell you to do something that isn't right. So just obey and stop thinking about what others would  say as this your own destiny and future we are talking about here and you are solely responsible for it , or wait a minute, don't you love him ?" She asks looking somewhat confused and i just stare at her like she fell from the skies "i think i asked you a question, i said that don't you love him?" She asks looking still confused

"Of course i do, that's a funny question to ask in fact "

"Then go for him so as not to end up regretting later "

"Okay mum, I'm tired, i need to go get some rest "

"Sure dear "she says as we hug each other

I spend the next ten minutes on my bed pondering over what my mum told me and i feel it's not totally creepy anyway

The next day is a Saturday so it's a pretty cool way to execute my plans, i left home as early as 8;00 am as my mum literally pushed me out of the house almost immediately after breakfast and Fred was really surprised to see me in his house and luckily for me , he has his own apartment and stays alone so even if i decide to stay for a month, I'm more than welcome but i don't just feel that it's proper anyway.

"Fred, i thought that you always said that you loved me? "I say to him looking straight into his eyeballs

"Of course, and that never changed for a second "he says obviously surprised at the question i was asking him

"And do you really think you can marry me?" I ask and he looked really taken aback by that question because for some minutes he just stares at me open mouthed

"Of course, i can, i will" he says talking gently obviously short of words

"Then marry me please, like now, I'm fucking freaking out already, I'm tired of waiting "

"I wanted to do that just now "he says bringing out a box and opens it, i really can't hide my excitement as i shriek in ecstasy and jump on him

"But firstly, propose in the normal way, i think that's still necessary though"
" You are so funny , okay then if that's what you want "he says and goes down on one knee " marry me my princess "

"I'll marry you but that was too common" I joke

"You saying <I'll marry you > was too common as well, he jokes as we hug each other

"I take a look at the ring on my finger and smile again

"I love you Fred, i fucking love you so much "i scream

"I love you too but you fucking cuss too much but anyways, it's allowed" he says as he carries me all the way down the stairs into the car and off to my car. I'm so happy that i can't hide it , i now know how Rhoda felt the other day , Bessie must feel this very soon ..The feeling is too wonderful to be delayed, seriously. I love my mum, i love Fred, i freaking love everyone ...it's so cool.
