RHODA'S POV

"Seriously Col., what took you so long, I waited for four years before you could summons courage to do this. No matter what happens. I'll always be here for you okay. It's not like I'm a stone hearted person or something. It's just that you never had enough courage tell me. I've forgiven you long ago and I've forgotten about it so we are friends again"

"Really, I swear it was not my fault. I don't know what even came over me. I guess it's just the devil's handiwork like they all say in the movies".

"Even if it's your handiwork like they say in reality, I really won't judge you for that time. Incident, it's not like you've done something like that before. Moreover nothing bad happened so there's nothing to worry about"

"Had it been something happened, hmn he would probably be using braces now as all his teeth would be off his mouth" Richard says as he enters the house.

"Good afternoon ma" Col. and Richard chorus as my mum enters the living room.

"Nothing mum just some youth's stuff" Richie answers winking at my mum. He's now gotten very free with her unlike the first time he talked to her and he almost peed in his pants. "Ha ha so funny" I laugh out loud and they all look at me in surprise.

"What's funny? which joke are we missing out on" Collins asks still in awe "never mind peeps, I just laughed out from my thought" and Richard shoots me a look lie "you and your thoughts"

"Anyways mum, we gotta get somewhere" I say to my mum standing up.

"Okay daughter be back before 8:00 pm"

"If she's not back, I promise to bring her back"

Richard says to her bowing slightly. It's like he had been watching too many movies lately. We all laugh and go out.

"When did you turn super hero?" Collins asks Richard as soon as we get outside.

"Don't mind him, let him be behaving as if he has some remaining parts of him at home" I add to the joke.

"So where are we going to?" Richard asks as we all stop dead in our tracks.

"That's true, where are we heading?" Collins ask again.

"I'm just bored okay so anywhere is fine" I answer as I head to my car.

Finally, we get to Bessie's house.

"So this is where we were headed?" Collins asks me.

"Is it bad that I should come to my bestie's house?"

"Of course not, I'm just saying"

When all enter the house and meet her mum, dad and elder sister in the sitting  room, I immediately feel speechless because I did not expect to meet everyone at home. Thank God Richard and Collins stayed outside.

"Erm em good afternoon" I greet them and Beatrice, Bessie's sister answers first before they all answer"

"How is mum, dad nko" blah blah blah

"They are all fine, is Bessie home?" he dosen't even answer he just calls out to her "Bessie, Bessie"

"Yes sir" she comes out "oh Rhodie" she screams and gives me a hug.

"Anything for me?" she asks stylishly pulling me aside" "I just come to greet you but it looks like you've got a large house here"

"Let's go somewhere else then"

"Yeah sure"

"Wait let me change my clothes" she says and goes inside the room "I'll be waiting outside for you" I shout so she can hear.

"Okay dear" she screams back from inside"

"So anything now?" Collins asks as soon as we get outside.

"Her parents and sister are home so we can't stay here, we should just hang out somewhere else"

"So where is Bessie now?" Richard asks.

"She went to change her clothes"

"I hope we don't spend the whole day here, because girls and their dressing up can take years at times" Collins says.

"Hmn, that's a blatant lie" I say back to him making a face.

"It's true baby girl" Richard chirps in.

"Oh, here she comes anyway so I think Rhoda won the argument" Collins says "what were you guys talking about?"

"Nothing special buddy, hop in the cat and let's go I say quickly "I'll drive" Richard announces.

"Sure sweetie" I say and hand over the keys

"So where are we going now please?" Collins asks again

"Be patient dude, let me call Kira, she likes going up and down so she should have a better idea" I immediately answer Collins"

"Oh, that's true" Bessie chirps in from the back.

I dial her numbers and she picks it on the first ring as if she had been expecting it before.

"Hey baby girl yeah........where are you.......oh......... Fred........oh..........okay...........we are bored........yeah.......where? your house? oh.... okay" I end the call and face Richard

"She said we can come over to her place but I don't really think it's a good idea actually, I don't trust her to that extent, it could be a trap. I don't think we should go there" I blurt out all in one breath.

"But I thought you said that you were gonna give her the benefit of doubt" Richard says still looking straight ahead.

"Yeah, but not in cases like this, what if something bad happens to me?" I ask panicky.

"I'll always be here for you okay" Richard says and looks at me assuredly. "I'll always be here as well" Collins says from the back seat.

"Chill guys, I don't really get what's happening here, you already forgive Kira or what? Rhoda?" Bessie asks

"Yeah, I already did"

"Whoa, that's great, when was that? Why didn't you tell me? I've really missed a lot you guys put me in the dark? I didn't even know when you and Collins started talking again. Trust me I was very surprised when I came out the other time and saw Collins. It is cool though"

"Collins, you might have to start using padlock for her mouth you know" I say to him and we all laugh except Bessie of course who just keeps a sullen look. It's so funny though.

At Kira's house, her mum isn't home and she's home alone with Fred anyway. Little wonder why she asked to come over to her house.

"Hey guys it looks like we have a full house here, we are very complete" Kira says as we enter the exquisite building"

"So are we just gonna sit here and stare at each other?" Collins asks he's always impatient.

"Of course not we can play a game" Kira says "like?" Bessie asks obviously not in total agreement with her.

"Hmn, truth or dare" Kira says again and we all look at ourselves in awe as she brings out a bottle of alcohol and a small cup" whoever doesn't do the dare or answer the truth drinks this and you can't drink this more than thrice. Also it's random, you choose truth, then dare than truth, then dare to make the game more interesting understood?" Kira says to us.

"Yeah" we all chorus as we take a seat on the fever forming a small circle.

"Spin the bottle Fred" Richard says passing him the bottle after the bottle has been spun, It was Bessie to ask me

"Whoa, Rhoda, since you stepped your legs into this country who was your first crush?" Bessie asks.

"Do you still need to ask me that? You didn't even ask if I wanted a truth or a dare anyways it's Collins"

"Wow, that's great Fred let me spin the bottle" she says again collecting the bottle from Fred. The next I was asking Fred.

"Hmn Fred, what exactly made you go after Kira?" I asked the question I've been keeping in mind for a long time and I saw Kira turn tomato red. I try hard not to laugh.

"Whao, what a question, she's beautiful, gorgeous, and sincere. You also didn't ask if I wanted a truth or dare."

"Oh, I'm sorry I'll spin the bottle" I say and collect the bottle as if that's atonement for not asking if he wanted a truth or a dare. It was Fred daring Collins. Guys are always the daring ones.

"I dare you to kiss........hmn.........hmn Richard"

"What the fuck" Richard says disgustingly as we all laugh except Collins" "Do you mean Rhoda?" Collins asks Fred. "Of course not" Richard almost screams. "Dude you are not gonna kiss me so just take a shot of that shit, okay" Richard says in disgust and Collins scrunches his face as he takes the alcohol and we all laugh at his expense".

The bottle is spun and Collins is daring Richard

"Richard, I dare you to take Kira upstairs for a minute"
