I''M REALLY SORRY FOR UPDATING SO LATE....I SWEAR I WAS REALLY BUSY ...REALLY REALLY BUSY...BUT I'LL TRY TO UPDATE MORE THIS DAYS AND FASTER AS WELL

"Mum !Mum!!" I scream in ecstasy as I can't hide the excitement literally written on my face ..as soon as I see her , I hugged her immediately.

"what's wrong Rhodie "she asked with confusion clearly written on her face.

"I just went to check the admission list now mum, and my name was included ...not only that but I was given the admission to study the course I've always loved ...i was given law mum ...I'm so glad " I say again as i throw my hands round her neck again .

"I'm so happy for you sweetheart." Is all she says but I know she's very happy as well ..

"wow ..so Crystal university...here I come " I say and fling my hair and hold my hands together as if I'm about to enter a lecture room with books in my hands and then I and my mum burst out laughing..

"it's not like you are there yet .." My mum says still laughing

"its just a matter of weeks now mum ...lets go shopping .. I heard that we have to put on black and white clothes to lecture rooms as law students" I say to her hoping she doesn't affirm it

"yeah ..thats true ..its probably for differentiation or ..or I don't know.."she answers me ..."okay then...i don't think have problems with that " I say to her

"it's not like you have a choice sweetie " I just laugh and shrug....

KIRA's pov

"Kira , now that you've gained admission into the university..you should come out with a very reputable and proud result....remember that Brown university is the 2nd best university in the country..so you really should make the most of it ..

If you do this , you would give your dad more reasons to at least vouch for my country " she says almost immediately after we find out that I just got admitted into the university to study international relations

"mum .... I really do understand your plight and I hope you don't forget the fact that I'm no longer a teen mum but lest o forget I don't really think i care about what dad says about this underdeveloped stuff you call a country "

" you can say whatever you like but that doesn't change the fact that it is your mother land so just keep quiet and adhere to what I told you ...Okay ?" She finally scowls

"okay mum" I say cos its looking like her temper is already getting the best of her.

"So when are we going for shopping" I ask her when I see that she has calmed down a bit

" that's all you can think of right ? " she says rolling her eyes simultaneously

" of course mum, what else should i think of ...dad's gonna take care of the school fees so what else is remaining....besides we are resuming in a month time and I'm pretty sure you don't want your precious daughter resuming university like she's just been told about her admission the evening before ...

So stop pulling my legs and fix a date .you know I don't have anywhere to go so it all depends on your schedule" I finally conclude.

"so what about Friday?" She asked me almost immediately after I'm true with my ranting

"it's okay mom " I say excitedly ....if there's one thing I love after Richard and novels ...its shopping .

RHODA's pov

"I'll prefer this mum....yeah .....this is better .."

"no this is too flashy "

"O.M.G ...how come I didn't see this earlier "

" I really love this ...mum see its so gorgeous" I say as I pick everything that catches my eye into the shopping basket

"rhodie..dont forget to pick at least three gowns for Sunday service " she says to me

" sure mum" I say in response

"holy shit ...this lemon gown is really nice and reserved...i love it so much " I say as I throw it in the shopping basket as well

As I get to the shoe section. I pick more of sandals as I know that it won't really be nice putting on heels for lectures , cos it's not as if I would be going with a car ..so it's really better that I choose wisely

After about an hour or two of selection of clothes and shoes ,..i was really exhausted and my legs were literally killing me..

"let's get going mum "I say to her looking very tired.

" thank goodness, I thought we were gonna sleep here today" she says sarcastically.

KIRA'S pov

"mum ....no I prefer that"

"no Kira , the black is more conservative and it accentuates your curves better...it's like a two in one "

"whatever mum ...I'll just take both the pink and the black "

" okay then ...how many heels did you pick out " she asks again

" only two mum, a black and a pink one " I reply searching through the clothes section for any thing fancy

"take two more ...in case you need it , take a red and a white one "she says again

"okay mum " I say and move over to the clothes section .

" I'm really exhausted mum " i say as i lay down on my bed dropping the shopping bags

"i think i should be the one saying that instead " my mum says as she drops the remaining bags beside my bed

"oh my goodness, i really cant believe that we forgot to get a travelling box " i say to my mum as i sit up immediately

"that will be tomorrow dear ...I'm really tired now " she says as she leaves for her room

" thanks mum , i love you so much "i shout after her

" i love you too sweetheart" she said aloud

I really do love my mummy , cos my dad travels here and there ..i look like my dad facially and that's why I'm a white ....my dad is white and my mum is a Nigerian....my dad is American...New York to be precise...we were all based In New York before my mum decided that it was better i did my tertiary education here in Nigeria ....her choice anyway ..but dad agreed to it as well

RHODA 's pov

"Oh my goodness Col, I really can't believe that I'll get to see you again " I say as I jump on him in excitement

"whoa rhodie, had it been someone told me back then that we would eventually meet again , I wouldn't have believed it "he says as he looks at me with genuine excitement written on his face

I quickly hug him again " I missed you so much col " I whisper to him

" I missed you more rhodie"

"seriously, I was kinda praying that we should end up in the same university. " he says still smiling

" I guess God answers prayers then " I say to him " I really can't wait to talk to Bessie , I've missed her so much, when last did you guys talk ?" I ask him

"oh..that was yester night or better still midnight " " cool then , so did she get admission already ?

" yeah ...brown university" ......." Whoa, what a coincidence. , Richie is there as well ..

" I guess it's even then " he says and i smile .

This was the conversation that ensued between I and col ..last week when I went to check the admission list in the university

I was so glad when I found out that I and Collins were both in crystal university...had it been there was no Bessie and Richard I would have been very convinced that we were meant to be together but i don't need a soothsayer to tell me that we aren't meant for each other , its just fate that has been playing tricks on us ...but its really cool that Bessie and Richard are in the same institution, cos you can never can tell...guys ..he might decide to cheat on me .

I really can't wait to talk to Bessie...In fact to see her cos almost immediately after the tutorials she travelled out of the state , so you cab guess that by now , I'm missing her like hell ...i love her so much ..
