six: oh great, you're gonna be a great dad.
"WHERE ARE WE GOING AGAIN?" Cece asked from the back of Megan's car, next to Tommy.
"We have to go see if Cooky and Danielle are still safe." Megan sighed.
The girl then made a sharp turn, casing the two in the back to go flying right into each other.
"Jesus! Can you slow down?" Cece exclaimed.
"There are two children who have been left home alone by Tommy, I am ALLOWED to panic!" Megan yelled with gritted teeth, gripping the steering wheel tight.
"Oh god, she's on her shark week, just be quiet for the rest of the ride." Cece whispered to Tommy.
Tommy didn't answer, he just looked out the window.
"Hey. You okay?" Cece asked.
"Not really. I shouldn't of left home. I should've just stayed home and watched my sisters like my mom told me to do. Not go to parties. Not that I didn't enjoy hanging out with you."
Cece nodded.
"But they're gonna hate me. So much. And I'm probably gonna get grounded." Tommy said.
"Hey. If you get grounded, I will climb up your roof and visit you everyday of my life. As god is my witness, I will do it." Cece assured the boy, grabbing his hand.
The two looked at each other, and then looked down at their hands.
They then let go of each other.
"Hang on." Megan said.
"Wha-"
Megan made a sharp turn into the Valentine's driveway, causing the teens in the back to fall to one side again.
"God, I hate her." Cece mumbled.
••••
"THEY'RE NOT UP HERE!" Tommy yelled to Cece and Megan in the house.
"They're not down here either!" Megan said.
Cece came up from the basement.
"Nothing." The blonde said, adjusting her hat.
"Danielle!" Megan yelled.
"Cooky!" Tommy yelled.
Cece opened a closet, looking for the two.
"We didn't find them." Tommy panicked.
"Hey! It's okay. We'll figure it out!" Megan assured the worried boy.
"Uhm...happy thoughts! Coffee shops, hot chocolate, cookies-"
Megan and Tommy looked over a Cece, who was standing by the couch now.
"That's a horrible one! Forget I said anything." Cece smiled, putting a hand on the couch and crossing her ankles.
Pounding on the door was heard, and the three turned their heads towards it.
"Oh no." Tommy whispered.
"It's Pennywise. I'll bet you anything it's Pennywise." Cece whispered, gripping onto the couch.
The doorknob began rattling.
The three made it to the front of the door when it began to open slightly.
Tommy pulled Cece closer to him.
The door completely opened, and the three started screaming.
Another scream was added.
"What are we screaming at?"
The three sighed with relief.
"Bam." Hubie said.
"Mr. Dubois, I screwed up. I-I can't find my sisters!" Tommy said.
"You don't know where the kids are? Huh. Cause I do. They're right here." Hubie said.
Danielle and Cooky rushed into the house.
"Tommy!"
"Oh my god." The boy whispered, hugging the two.
Cece back away from the three hugging.
"I'm so sorry I left you guys, I'm so happy you're okay."
"Oh great, you're gonna be a great dad." Cece whispered.
"You have a girlfriend?" Cooky asked.
Tommy and Cece looked at each other, while Megan smirked.
"Uhm! Hi. I'm Cece." The blonde laughed awkwardly, shaking the little girls hand.
"I'm Cooky! I like your hair."
"Oh. Thanks."
"Mean Girls costume? I like you." Danielle smiled.
"I saw em coming through the Old McMillan shortcut. It was funny, cause not many people know where that shortcut is. Just me and a friend of mine, Richie Hartman. When I was a kid, we used to finish our band practice and shoot right through there." Hubie explained.
"Well, at least everybody's safe." Tommy said.
"No one in Salem is safe tonight. Do you understand me, Tommy and Christmas girl?! That's why I'm putting this family on lockdown. Now, Tommy, you call your mother. Let her know you're home. Megan, Christmas girl, call your parents. Let them know your both staying at a friends."
Hubie winked at Tommy.
"That's for you. You two, do me a favor. Eat all the candy you want, and then go straight to sleep," Danielle and Cooky nodded, "And lock this door! No matter what, don't answer it!"
"What are you gonna do, Mr. DuBois?" Megan asked.
"I'm gonna do what I do every October 31st. Make sure every citizen in this town is safe and protected." Hubie said.
"Great! Tommy, do you have a kitchen?" Cece asked.
"Uhm, yeah-"
"Great! I'm making cookies! I stress bake." The blonde sighed, walking over to the kitchen.
