He Is Sick
(1746 words)
Your POV
House and I were watching the video of the surgery, sitting on the floor in front of it as we watch Goldstein fish around, looking for anything. Watching for a second, House leans forward to rub at something on the screen, before scratching the spot off with a sigh. Sitting next to me again, he leans against me before speaking.
"You threatened Stacy, didn't you?"
"Don't worry about it."
(Y/n), I-"
"No, I've told you both how I feel about this situation, and if you two don't keep it in your pants, then I swear to god I will end up in jail." Looking up at him he stops for a second before nodding.
"You being mad is hot when you aren't mad at me."
Shaking my head I rub his leg slightly. "Then don't make me mad."
"I'm trying not to, I didn't tell Stacy to show up."
"No, but you like having her around."
He gives a groan and is about to say something before stopping. Rewinding the video he gets a bit closer. "What was that?"
"Are you just trying to get out of the conversation?"
"No, well kinda. But I saw something, watch."
Getting closer to the screen I watch as the intestines trickle. "Is that? Abdominal epilepsy?"
Sitting back, I get off the floor, House watching me as I pace a little. "So then it's neurological." Groaning slightly he hums.
"Don't make those noises, I can't get off the floor as fast to catch you."
Looking at him, he smiles at me. "It means she has to stay longer. Sometimes I wish you weren't in diagnostics."
He gets off the floor and turns the TV off, looking at me. "We wouldn't have met if I wasn't"
Smiling a little as I watch him I nod. "I know. I just hate feeling this way."
"Then stop it."
Looking at him I frown. "I can't turn it off. I just."
He sits at his desk as I shift slightly. "Just what?"
"Care about you too much, don't want you getting hurt again, and I don't want to be hurt again either."
He raises his arm out to me, making a motion for me to come over to him. Doing what I was told I stop in front of him before he pulls me onto his lap. His hands on my thighs as his thumbs rub them a little.
"If you keep ignoring what Daddy tells you, I'm going to bend you over my knee."
Shaking my head with a smile he smirks at me. Leaning down I kiss him as he moves me a little closer to him. His hands going under my shirt slightly as he rubs my sides. Pulling away I look at him for a moment as I sit there.
"I should probably get up before I hurt your leg, and you need to call the team."
He sighs dramatically before nodding, squeezing my ass for a second before giving me a confused look. "That wasn't the phone. Weird."
Shaking my head, I cross my arms as I listen to him call each of the team to show them the news. The next day Foreman watches his brain waves as he sleeps. Sending them to do a couple more tests that will hopefully explain Encephalitis or Alzheimer's. Cameron goes to run the tests and the other two go to the house. This case was going to be the death of me, or I'll get grey hair. One of the two. Once Chase and Foreman got back from Short Hills. Updating us about the yoga mat and the meds they found.

After the MRI everything comes back normal, House has no idea what's wrong with him. Deciding to watch and wait, it didn't take long for Mark to end up losing feeling in his legs and arms. House thinks maybe Gillian-Barre, but Foreman said no antibodies. Sighing gently as they try and figure out to do. Deciding IVIG would be the best, hoping it's what it was and if not, he might die.
Cameron had just given it to him before be gets paranoid and has trouble breathing. Cameron calls a code blue, thinking it was an allergic reaction. "Cameron, look at his vitals, they're fine. Give him 2 milligrams Ativan."
She does and he calms down. Raising a brow slightly I hum. "Not allergic, just anxious." Wilson comes down and motions for me to talk to him. Walking over I put my hands in my pockets.
"What?"
"House told me you've been, anxious. Much like Mark has."
"Glad he can tell you everything in our relationship. I thought our appointment was a few weeks out?"
He shakes his head. "No, you haven't been around him long at all."
Giving him a look, he sighs. "House has never cheated before, I don't think this time is any different."
Crossing my arms i look at him. "Good, because guess where that cane will go if he does."
He nods slightly, before practically running away. Walking away I sigh gently, looking into the room as Stacy comes out of the room to talk to me. Finding out they never went to Paris I raise a brow, going to talk to House. Something didn't make sense at all. Grabbing the PET scans, I tilt my head slightly as I watch it over. Figuring it he has AIP, Acute Intermittent Porphyria, accounts for everything.
Delusions, abdominal pain, paranoia, all of it. Humming slightly I turn as House walks back into the room to see me. "He has AIP."
He stops as he cocks an eye brow. "Explain."
"They never actually went to Paris. He just thinks they did. With that and the light sensitivity, it explains the yoga."
He nods before he walks over to me. "Too bad I can't marry your brain."
smirking as I look at him he watches me. "You can, you'll just have to deal with the test of me too."
He smirks before kissing me. "What would I do with the rest of you, have sex? Not before marriage."
Shaking my head at him he smiles. "How are we going to get him to have an attack?"
"We're going to give him the combo platter, barbituates, protein, and alcohol. If he doesn't have it, we don't know what will happen."
Nodding gently, I get everything ready, only for Mark to not want the treatment. House comes down and finds out he doesn't want it, he shrugs slightly before Stacy stops him and tries to get him to give him the meds forcibly. House doesn't want to, since she did it to him with his leg. It didn't take long for House to walk in with the shot, the rest of the team stopping him.
"Love the musketeer thing."
Leaning against the wall, I watch. House glances at me before he caps the shot again. Tossing it over to me, and i dive for Mark's leg, injecting him. They jump before Stacy sighs with relief.
"You two are so much like each other."
Mark starts the attack, the rest of him holding him down as they try and keep him from hurting himself, House grabs a needle, pulling urine straight from the source. Once they sedated him, we were off to the lab to do the test. Once it came back positive we were able to treat him. Leaning on the counter as the rest leave, I glance at House.
"Now they can leave."
He nods gently. "Are you going to relax now?"
Giving him a look he nod slightly. "Maybe I'll get my ex here, see how you react to it."
He stands up straight, leaning his cane against the counter before he pulls me to him. "You aren't the only one who knows how to make a death look like an accident."
Humming gently I look at him. "It's sexy when you show murderous intent." Kissing him as he pins me against the counter, I pull away after a second. He goes up to the office while I make a food run, getting his favorite while I'm out. Getting out of the elevator outside of his office I stop as I see Stacy in the office with him. Sneaking closer to hear what she said, I listen in.
"You were right."
"He's going to be fine." he nods.
"No, about me. I'm not over you."
Seeing House's reaction, his mouth agape. Feeling a tightness in my chest, I do my best to swallow it. Hoping he'll tell her no, something.
"You were, you were the one. You always will be. But I can't be with you." There was a pause.
"So I'm the guy, but you want the other guy, so by definition he can never be the guy"
"That's what's so frustrating about you, you always think you're right. But most of the time you are."
She steps closer to him, going to kiss his cheek before he stops her. "I may still be the one you want, but you aren't what I want."
I could feel her shocked expression. "You mean? The other doctor?"
"Her name is (y/n), and she's a damn good one."
She nods gently. "Alright then." With her leaving the room, I stand up and walk inside. I had a feeling House knew I was there.
"Are we going to ignore the fact you knew I was listening?"
He looks up at me, before shaking his head. "I would have said the same thing."
"Would you now?"
he nods. "Oh, yes. Other doctors are so much better to date than lawyers." He meets me in the middle of his office and puts his hands on my waist.
"I better leave so you can celebrate with Wilson, then."
Smirking he nods gently, leaning down to kiss me. Wrapping my arms around him, I return each one he gave. Once we pulled away I smile gently. "You proved it."
"Good, you know I love you."
nodding I rub my hands on his blazer. "I know, i'm sorry."
"What are you sorry for? You've had the ultimate betrayal, but it's his loss. That guy was an idiot."
Giggling gently he smiles at me before putting the food on his desk. "I don't know about you, but I'm hungry for something else."
Raising a brow before he looks at me, his eyes glazing slightly with lust. Smiling at him I kiss him again before we lock the doors and close the blinds.

I might do another chapter before work if I have time, if not it'll be tomorrow or friday. This book is already almost to 20 parts, after I first started Friday. We'll be getting into Season 2 with the next part I upload. I don't know if I'll do a book for each 2 seasons or so or not. This doesn't have a lot of reads so I'm not sure if it's any good or just my random ADHD word vomit i tend to do.
