Kate's POV:

There's something about coming back to work after vacation. Seeing the old faces welcoming me back after a deserved rest in the Caribbean. Now, it's time to go back to work.

I'm welcomed by Frank Woods, he raised me after my parents' death. Taught me everything he knows and now, I'm the best agent in the CIA

Frank: Welcome back. How was Barbados?

Kate: Hi Frank. It was nice. A bit boring, but okay.

Frank: Grab a coffee. Adler wants to see us and Mason in the meeting room.

Kate: Post-vacation briefing? Love it.

I get in the meeting room with Frank and Alex and wait for Adler to talk

Adler: Welcome back, agent Bishop.

Kate: Thanks, Adler.

He slides a folder with information about a secret Russian base called Arkangel

Adler: Our satelites captured an unknown base in Northern Russia. We believe it dates back to the Soviet Union days. We also believe they're making an infamous Bioweapon named The Red Plague. We thought it was exterminated back in 'Nam. We were wrong. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is infiltrate the base, retrieve the virus and destroy any evidence about The Red Plague. Woods and Mason will give you cover from above. Should you or any of your team members get caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions.

Finally, some action...

Meanwhile, in Madagascar

Third Person POV:

Agents Knight and L/N are watching a snake fight a mongoose while looking at a  bald man with chemical burns on his arm

Alex: Looks like our guy. He's got chemical burns on his arm.

Y/N: I wonder if chemical weapons scientists are insured for things like that.

The man receives a text on his phone

Unknown:

Problem with Red Plague. Need you back ASAP.

The man gets up and starts moving out of the dry swimming pool where the animal fight is happening

Alex: He's on the move and he's coming straight at me.

Alex puts his hand on his earpiece

Y/N: Stop touching your ear.

Alex couldn't understand what he was saying from all the noise

Alex: I'm sorry?

Y/N: Put your hand down!

Alex realizes his mistake too late. The mystery chemist notices that and runs away

Agent Knight then draws his gun in the middle of the crowd

Y/N: Holster the bloody weapon, Alex. We need him alive!

Knight tries to jump in the dry pool, but he trips and falls, making his gun fire accidentally

People at the place scream and run while Y/N chases him to a construction site

The chemist then climbs on a building's framework, using lots of parkour moves

Y/N sees that he's gonna lose him, so he uses his head and runs up the arm of a crane

He jumps up and climbs towards another crane, catching up to the fugitive

The bald man then kicks the young agent on the chest, almost knocking him over the crane

He uses the moment to jump down to a building nearby

Y/N then climbs back up and jumps down to the building, screwing up the landing

He sees the chemist running away, but Y/N, relentless as aways, keeps chasing him until they get to the first floor

After some more running,  the chemist arrives at an embassy and talks to the attaché

Attaché: I told you. you don't work for us anymore.

Chemist: Just hide me!

YN then arrives at the room and kicks the man in the stomach

The attaché tries to go for his gun, but Y/N disarms him and punches him afterwards

He grabs the chemist and drags him around the embassy

While regaining his conscience, the attaché presses the alarm button under his desk and now, lots of guards start shooting towards Y/N and his prisoner

The young agent then throws the man out of a window, making him land on the back patio

Y/N grabs him again, but is surrounded by the embassy's guards

The attaché then comes to them, demanding that Y/N lets the man go

Y/N then pushes him and drops the gun he took from the attaché

He then grabs the gun on his back holster and shoots the unarmed prisoner

And before the body hits the ground, he shoots rapidly some gas cilinders, blowing them up and providing an escape for Y/N

When the smoke clears, the guards get up and see that Y/N was already gone

In the bushes, Y/N grabs the chemist's phone and sees the recent message regarding the Red Plague

He heads to the airport and contacts his team

Y/N: White Knight to White Rook one and two.

Luke: Copy White Knight.

Alex: White Rook two here.

Y/N: Rendezvous at the airport in fifteen for return.

Alex: Understood.

Luke: I'll be waiting here.

A couple of minutes later, the three agents gather in the local airport and wait to return home

Luke looks at  Y/N, sweaty, dirty and with a blood stain on his forehead

Luke: You look like shit.

Y/N: Alex's fault.

Alex: You're the one who shot the guy.

Luke: M's not gonna be happy when he hears about this.

Y/N: I'll deal with M. Now, can we take off?

They get in the plane and take off to return to London

One day later...

MI6 Headquarters, London

Y/N, Luke and Alex are in M's office for their mission report

Needless to say that M was pissed about Y/N shooting an unarmed prisoner and this International Incident being caught by a security camera, making Mi6's image look very bad to the public eye

He arrives at his office and sees Y/N having a glass of his cognac

M: You've got a bloody cheek.

Y/N: Sorry, I'll shoot the camera first next time.

M: Or yourself...

The three young agents look at each other with surprised looks

M: You stormed into an embassy, violated the only absolutely inviolate rule of International Relationships. Why? So you could kill a nobody. We wanted to question him, not to kill him!

He throws the newspaper on the desk in front of them

M: You were supposed to display some kind of judgement.

Y/N: I did. I thought one less evil scientist in the world would be a good thing

M: Hardly the bigger picture, don't you think?

Y/N: I sent his phone to Q. He should be encrypting his recent messages.

M then uses his phone and connects it to the TV to FaceTime Q

Q answers the call

Q: M, agents.

M: What do you have on the phone?

Q: I managed to track where his latest text message was sent from. It appears someone wants him back in Northern Russia regarding some problems with the Red Plague. I managed to redirect one of our satelites to give me some info on the place where the message was sent and it seems it's in a former Soviet weapons factory. Arkangel is its name. Maybe they made the virus there.

M: Hunt, Knight and L/N, you're going to Russia. Two of you will stay in the plane while one of you jumps off to infiltrate the factory and destroy it completely, leaving no bioweapons left.

Alex and Luke look at Y/N, who sighs deeply knowing he'll have to do the heavy lifting once again

Y/N: Why the rush?

M: We need to act fast because if we're knowing about this information now, it means that the Americans know about this way before than we did. 

After the briefing, Y/N and the other two agents head to a military base where they see a giant airplane

Luke: I'm definitely flying this thing.

Luke gets in first and heads to the cockpit 

A couple of hours later, Y/N changes to his HALO suit and gets ready to jump

Luke: Back hatch opening in 3,2,1...

Alex: Good Luck!

Y/N jumps off the plane and dives down towards the factory

He then opens his parachute and glides down

When he arrives at the factory, he throws his HALO helmet away

Y/N gets in the Arkangel base and asks for info on his earpiece

Y/N: I need directions to the lab.

Alex: Sure thing.

Alex keeps him updated as Y/N goes to the lab

He then sees dead guards with arrows to their bodies as keeps progressing inside the factory

Y/N: Shit...

Alex: What's wrong?

Y/N: Someone's here. They took down the guards...whith arrows.

Alex: Arrows? Who are we up against? Rambo?

Y/N: Probably. This smells like CIA all over. They probably sent one of their skilled hitmen

He keeps going stealthily to the lab

When he gets there, he contacts Alex

Y/N: I'm in the lab.

Alex: Good, now plant the charges and get out of there.

Y/N: On it.

He sees a box with "Red Plague" written on it and starts planting the charges there

After that, he hears a female voice behind him

????: Do not move...

He turns around to see a raven haired girl pointing a bow and arrow to him

Y/N: Listen, I know you're CIA. We're on the same side-

Kate: Hand me the detonator.

Y/N: Now why would i do that?

Kate: Because I need the Red Plague. It's important for the CIA.

Y/N: The Red Plague is dangerous. That's why it needs to be destroyed right here, right now.

She looks at him and gets closer 

Kate: Give it to me so we can leave this place sooner.

Y/N: No can do, sweetheart. Either we get out of here right now and watch this base burn or we burn with it.

Kate then tries to grab the detonator from Y/N's hand, but he prevents her from catching it

Y/N: Nop-

She then punches Y/N in the face before he could finish talking

He then sweeps her leg, making her fall to the ground

Y/N: Come on, get u-

Kate then attacks him with a baton, making Y/N fall over 

They roll around as the arrows from Kate's quiver fall on the ground

She then picks up one of her arrows from the ground and tries to stab stab Y/N with it, but he prevents it

He then picks up the last vial of Red Plague and throws it away

Y/N: Whoopsies!

Kate: You motherf-

Both of them hear the base's alarm, meaning there were more guards to come

Y/N then picks up the detonator for the charges and sets up the timer

Both of the agents start running and they get to an area full of gas tanks

Y/N decides to plant more bombs there

They see that the base has an airstrip

Both agents then signalize their teams to extract them out of the hotzone

Kate: Hawkeye to Woods, I need exfil now!

Frank: Copy that, Hawkeye.

Y/N: White Knight to White Rook one, I need immediate extraction.

Luke: Stand by, White Knight. Stand by.

An Osprey picks up Kate while Y/N is going to the very edge of the airstrip for his extraction team

He sets up a flying rope baloon attached to his belt

As more guards start coming towards him, Y/N just smirks

Guard: тебе некуда идти.(You have nowhere to go.)

Right after that, the MI6's plane pulls Y/N from the ground using the skyhook technique

He gets inside the plane and watches the Arkangel Bioweapons factory explode from the distance
