It was drizzling slowly as if the sky was crying. Rain fell like snowflakes, slowly and gently. Lucifer stood in the foggy, Swiss forest. The rain washed away the blood on his sharp nails and his canines while a dead and mangled deer and a dead leopard lay before him. His long black bangs covered his face. He slowly sat on his knees.

"I'm just like my siblings..." He looked at his hands. Water could only wash away blood, not mistakes. But, he was ready to make amends.

And so, the next day, he told him:
"I'll be leaving for England tomorrow. I'll be back soon, your highness"
"Alright," Coelestin was spreading some butter over his bread. They both were sitting under a white umbrella in the garden. Lucifer got up and held Coelestin's hand, "While I am gone, this will protect you," He slipped a bracelet into his wrist. Coelestin looked at it and then at Lucifer, "What is this?"

"This is a fourth-dimensional weapon base. You can collect as many weapons in this and carry them around on your wrist,"
"Cool!" He looked at it, "I want to show you something too,"
Coelestin took Lucifer to another garden full of purple lavenders. Even the grass was a darker shade of purple. Lucifer laughed as he looked around, "You changed all the flowers?"

"You said you like purple," Coelestin said.
"You didn't have to do that," Lucifer said.
'Not like I'm gonna come back here again,'
"I'm a prince. If I wanted to, I could create a thousand gardens like this," He stood at a pedestal and spread his arms towards the sky, "And abandon a thousand more,"

Lucifer looked up at him, "For me?"
Coelestin looked down at him from the pedestal and pressed his forehead on his, "If I could give you one thing in life, I would give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes, only then would you realize how special you are to me"
He kissed Lucifer on his forehead,

"Come back soon, Lucifer. I'll wait for you, always,"

Lucifer looked at Coelestin, he knew he couldn't do it. He was going to break him. He stretched his arms towards the prince and hugged him tightly. Coelestin was taken aback, "...Lucifer?"
"Goodbye,"

Lucifer stared outside the window of his car as he left the castle, determined to never see it again. He told Ben why he returned,
"Well, it's good you returned then. We don't want you to hurt the prince now, do we?" Ben smiled.
"No, I want to protect Coelestin,"
"I'm afraid that won't be possible anymore. But I'll set the ANDROIDs to help with that,"
"Robots can't be an emotional companion,"

"One of them is a former human,"

Lucifer looked shocked.
"You can make humans into ANDROIDs too?"
"Well, I didn't think we could but I guess yeah,"
"That is it! Make me an ANDROID!"
"Lucifer-"

"Please! I beg you! I'm sorry, Ben, but I'm too attached to Coelestin now, I can't let him go. I don't want to disappear from his life,"
"I'm not sure if it will work on you, what if you die?"
"What if I fly?"
Ben looked at the blue in his eyes. Lucifer seemed desperate, "I don't want to give up,"

Ben took a sigh, "Fine, I think you'll be a help to the ANDROIDs,"
And to Ben's surprise, Lucifer came out to be outstanding. He was a great leader, smart and strong. Finally, after two years of the spread of the world pandemic, ANDROIDs were built. All five of them. Asselyum was the pre-coid model, the most primitive who had been taking care of the X-DROIDs for the past one year while the rest of her teammates were being made based on her design but better technology.

Then came MiK, Asselyum's coordinator, who was soon replaced by a human coordinator. An entire team of humans were arranged to make Asselyum function optimally. MiK was modified into a fighting type ANDROID who together with Norman fought in the Eastern World while Asselyum stayed with Ben in the west. During this one year, Lucifer stayed with prince Coelestin. Ben visited Switzerland to meet the Prince again and to introduce Assleyum to the royal house. There, Asselyum rescued a juvenile soldier fighting for his motherland.

X-DROIDS had eaten his family before his eyes, they even ate his limbs but he was saved by Asselyum. It was Valorie. He met Ben who nursed him after his legs were amputated and he asked him to make him an ANDROID too. After many rejections, Ben finally gave up to Valorie's persistence and decided to operate on him. And hence, Valorie became an ANDROID, even better than Asselyum. He accompanied her in her missions.

He met Giles on a mission too. She was wounded and about to die. So, he gave her a part of him that saved her alive. Hence started their friendship. At the age of eleven, Valorie had the wisdom of a twenty-year-old man. He had been the best of ANDROIDs for the next one year until Ben introduced him to Lucifer. The ANDROID Lucifer.

"This is Lucifer, our new teammate, my son and your new leader,"
"Leader?! But I'm the leader,"
"Not anymore, pal," Ben laughed. Asselyum, Mik and Norman complied. But Valorie hated him from there.
"Hello Lucifer," Valorie said in a grumpy voice and a dirty expression.
"You don't seem grateful enough to have me," Lucifer said.
"Nobody is," Valorie rolled his eyes.

But Lucifer couldn't meet Coelestin yet because now the ANDROIDs were his responsibility and the entire world looked up to him for their safety. So, he decided to postpone his meeting with Coelestin. He decided to meet him after the war was over so that they could leave peacefully just like before.

In the meantime, he stayed with his teammate Valorie while Asselyum went away to Antarctica. The surgery had affected Valorie's eyes.
"Ah shit," He said as he bumped into a wall.
"What is it?"
"Nothing. I just go momentarily blind sometimes,"
Lucifer held his hand, "In that case, I will be your momentary walking stick,"

Valorie's hatred for Lucifer mellowed down as time went by. They came closer and slowly Lucifer began forgetting about Coelestin in his euphoria. Meanwhile, Europe was dying. The X-DROIDs had infested England, Wales, Denmark, France, Netherlands and was now reaching Switzerland. Lucifer heard of it and all his love Coelestin returned at once.

"BEN!" He barged into the lab. Ben looked up from his computer screen.
"Yes, Lucifer?"
"X-DROIDS HAVE ALMOST REACHED SWITZERLAND!" Lucifer shouted.
"Ah, yes, about that, Lucifer," Ben got up and looked at Lucifer, "I have a mission for you,"

"Anything you say," Lucifer pressed his left fist over his heart. X-DROIDs have their hearts on the right side of their chest.
"In that case," Ben looked into his blue eyes, "Annihilate England,"

"Annihilate? You mean..."
A hologram opened before them.
"The virus is the strongest here." Ben pointed at England, "99% of the population is infected and is carrying the infection to the rest of Europe. If we don't stop them somehow, it'll be too late. I don't care how you do it; just make sure no one in England lives. They are even carrying certain fatal variants and your siblings. You have to kill all of them, alone,"

"But...Isn't that too cruel? I can't kill an entire nation...And that is my birth country. I was born in England,"
"And I raised you away from all those miseries." Ben said, "Nature and nurture, whose side are you willing to take? Are you going to betray me who named you or a land that forgot your name?"

Reason was leaving Lucifer's senses. He had never looked so confused before. If he didn't kill England, more people would die and Ben would leave him and if he did, Europe would be safe and so would Coelestin. But those people he would be killing would include uninfected people too. He didn't want to kill innocent people. The poor three-year-old boy who looked like a teenager, he looked at Ben. His blue were now growing himself in waves of undeciviness and he knew what was coming for him.

"Do I have to do it?" His voice was heavy.
"Are you afraid, Lucifer?" Ben looked at him.
"I'm afraid I'm about to take many innocent lives,"
"Lucifer," Ben walked near him and patted his head,

"Fear...Does not stop death.
It stops life."

Lucifer flew over England as an engle flies over corpses. Everyone looked up at the huge clouds rising over them. Clouds of death. The waves slowly rose up and the Earth shook in terror. Animals hid in tree trucks or under the soil while all the XDROIDs looked at Lucifer as if he were their God with their hands stretched towards him. Lucifer stretched his arm towards their ugly faces and slowly water broke into the cities of England. Canterbury, New Forest, London, Oxford, all of them, dead. A huge flood covered the cities and water crushed the XDROIDs as they looked at the sky in their frenzy. The water was more red than blue. The air was filled with cries and Lucifer did nothing but stare at them as their bodies burst open and their innards floated on the water. He knew one day, his end would be just as bad.

One hour
And England
Was gone forever.

Like it was a mythical borough of catacumbs in the abysses of the ocean.
Like it never subsisted.
Everything was placid, but it was the tranquil before another apocalypse. He with those wretched black wings sat on the borders of wales and wept loudly as the sunset died into the dark ocean.
Like rivers copulating with the coean. Rivers of lifeblood and ocean of the stagnant.
His tears fell into the ocean and he chopped his wings and threw them into the gory water.

As reason crawled back into his senses, his hate for himself grew.
He cried and cried and cried of sorrows yet unheard. But only the dead beneath the water could hear him, only the pain consoled him.

"My England..."

And this pain changed Lucifer forever.
Which marked Ben's second-biggest mistake.
The first one being the invention of X-DROIDs.
