CODE 93 Meet
He sat inside a long, black limo, dressed up in a white, ironed shirt, tucked inside his white knickers and high knee black boots. His black wings lay softly on the back of the seat. He had long black bangs reaching till his black eyebrows and big, dark blue eyes. He looked like a tall pre-teen. He looked out of the window, it was cloudy outside. All the clouds gathered around a huge castle tower in form of huge concentric circles all clipped together. The sun stood at its centre, shining black. It was an eclipse. The tower bells ran as ravens flew outside of them. The inside of the car turned dark.
"This will your new home, Lucifer,"
Ben sat in front of him, "We need to be in the good books of the prince if we don't want any hindrance in our future projects. So, you are a gift of friendship. A channel between me and the royal house, you understand, right?"
"Yes, I do, Ben,"
"Good boy," He smiled and the car stopped, "Oh also, Lucifer, do anything but don't eat meat. Because if you eat it once, you cannot stop,"
"Yes, I understand,"
"That's my vegan boy. Oh, we are here,"
Lucifer slowly got down from the car and while all the robot suitcases and carried themselves off, he held Ben's fingers with one hand and held a bouquet of white roses in another. They walked towards a huge garden. The eclipse slowly ended and light fell on his white skin. He looked at a blonde head through a huge glass chair which was decorated by crystals and surrounded by young, beautiful women.
"Prince Coelestin, meet your new mentor and companion, Lucifer," Ben smiled at him. He turned back and Lucifer looked at him. He was just as he thought he would be. He was all dressed up lavishly in a red embroidered, royal gown decorated with diamonds and pearls, with an extravagant fragrance around him. Lucifer walked towards him and gave him that bouquet of white roses. He gently took it from his arms and looked at his wings.
"Why do you have black wings?" He asked.
"They are there since birth," He smiled.
"Looks ugly, can you fly with those?"
He was just as he thought he would be. Bitter and proud.
"Well, I can fly without them,"
His eyes were a light shade of blue as if he was staring into a clear sky. But the sky was his element, why did someone else hold it so gracefully within them? They said it right, there was always a strange glimmer in the eyes of those who had lived through the dark. Prince Coelestin Huldrych Dionisius, his eyes had a deep voice. He looked into Lucifer's eyes for a while and then he shifted away from them towards Ben's pink eyes,
"Is he an angel? Like for reals?" He asked.
"He is an ANDRIOD,"
"A robot?" He poked Lucifer's cheek. His fingers were soft and pink. It left a mark.
Every word.
Every moment.
Every sigh.
Every smile.
It all left a mark.
"So, what are you going to teach me? General Meinbert already taught me how to use a spear, sword, the bow and arrow and a gun. I also know how to draw a shield. There's nothing special you can teach me,"
"Well, do you know how to fly?" Lucifer asked.
"I mean, I can use my jet shoes,"
"Or you can use me,"
"What do you mean?"
"The wind will carry you," He held Coelestin's hand, "Freedom is waiting for you on the breezes of the sky"
"What if I fall?"
"What if you fly?"
Lucifer had forgotten the purpose he was there for. He wasn't there for being friends. He was there as a teacher and his time with him was limited. But he knew that he was losing time. Once Ben was done making the ANDROIDs with his friend while Lucifer kept the royal house busy, he would call him back. Coelestin wrote his politics exam while Lucifer sat before him. Coelestin rose his blue eyes and looked at Lucifer as he looked outside the window.
The golden sun was falling through the windows
But his smile was cold as snow
It seemed as if his summer on the surface
Hid waters below.
"Lucifer,"
Lucifer looked at him,
"One day, I wanna go on a war against the X-DROIDs with you," Coelestin smiled.
"Are you sure I'll stick around then?" Lucifer asked.
"Of course! We'll always be together! Ugh! I wish I were an ANDROID too! Then, I would fight for my people just like you do,"
"Fighting does not always have to involve weapons, your highness,"
"But it requires blood,"
"Then," He passed him a sheet of paper, "Bleed on paper,"
"Less cool but okay," Colestin smiled as he took the paper. Lucifer smiled back. But this time it was different. His lips were smiling. His eyes weren't.
Unlike him, Coelestin was growing up. He was learning economics, politics, everything about how to run a kingdom, his duties, responsibilities and of course, battle combat. As a practice, he always fought with general Meinbert but he was still not good enough to defeat him,
"UGH! I'm mad!" He threw his white hands into the hair as Lucifer lay on the grass beside him. He threw himself on the soft, green grass beside Lucifer. They were surrounded by white roses and lilies. His hands weren't slender anymore, they were turning lean with little muscle mass on them. Sweat flowed down his long blonde hair but he still smelled good. Lucifer looked at him, "Why are all flowers here white? It's so monotonous," He asked.
"I thought you like white?" He turned towards him,
"Nah, I fancy purple," Lucifer said.
"Fuck that, guess what I saw today?" He smirked.
Lucifer sighed, "What did you see, your highness?"
"KNEES! I SAW A GIRL'S KNEES!"
"Girls," Lucifer laughed.
"Girls like angels," Coelestin said, "You are one,"
"How? My wings are black,"
"I'll make them white. Let's paint them right away!"
So, Lucifer removed his shirt and sat on a white bench while Coelestin gently pressed the paintbrush over his wings. They quivered as he touched them, "Stop moving them!"
"I can't help it. It's ticklish!" Lucifer laughed, "Alright leave me!"
"NO!"
"LEAVE ME, YOUR HIGHNESS!" He began laughing, "IT'S SO TICKLISH!"
"YOUR HIGHNESS!" Joar ran towards them and rescued Lucifer, "YOU PAINTED LUCIFER'S WINGS WHITE! Ben would be very mad," He yelled at Coelestin.
Lucifer turned back and looked at them, "They look weird,"
"We need to clean up this mess," Joar held his hand and began leaving.
Coelestin looked at Joar take Lucifer away and he hated that.
"Lucifer!" He yelled and Lucifer turned back. He grabbed his hand tightly, "Follow me!"
And they ran, "Your highness! Don't run! You might fall and hurt yourself!" Joar yelled as the old man ran after them and soon got tired. It began raining.
"Your highness, sir Joar would be very vexed at me if we don't return and you get hurt," Lucifer said as Coelstin and he walked through the forest surrounding the castle.
"Oh shut up, Lucifer. You are supposed to listen to me!"
Suddenly, Coelstin stepped on a patch of grass and sank inside it, falling into a deep pit.
"YOUR HIGHNESS!" Lucifer shouted and ran towards him. The pit was full of snakes. Lucifer jumped inside and the wind split all of them into two halves. He wrapped his arms around Coelestin and one of the snakes bit his arm, "Lucifer!" Coelestin shouted.
"I'm fine,"
The snake got split into two and Lucifer walked out of the pit with Coelestin in his arms. Coelestin jumped down, "We have to treat you!"
"Calm down your highness, I am immune to the snake poison,"
Coelestin seemed relieved, "Oh, good then. Are you sure?"
"Yeah, Ben gave me certain vaccinations, you know,"
"I see I see. Ow!" He looked at his scraped elbow, the skin had been peeled off "Well, I guess I fell pretty badly,"
Lucifer looked at him, his blue eyes glowed green. He could see all the veins inside his body, all that blood flowing down his neck into his flesh to keep it pink and supple. His heart was warm, it expanded and contracted as he breathed. His pale skin was wet moist in the rain. Lucifer's mouth was watering. He had never felt that hungry before. He was starving. He reached his hand out to Coelestin's elbow and felt his pulse on his skin.
"Lucifer?"
His senses returned at once.
"We should probably return at once. Joar is gonna be so mad, we need to hide this wound. Let's fly to the castle. Pick me up in the air," Coelestin said.
"Yes...Your majesty,"
That night, Lucifer couldn't sleep. He remembered it again and again. That scent, that temperature. His stomach was hurting.
"I'm so hungry it hurts, ugh!"
Finally, he jumped out of his bed and frolicked out of the window. His eyes were glowing bright green, he had to take himself away from Coelestin before his conscious mind. He looked around as he flew in the dark sky. Anything, anything would do just something!
Finally, he saw a deer being chased by a leopard in the forest. At once, he ran towards them.
"Lucifer, do anything but don't eat meat
Because if you eat it once," Ben's words resounded in his head,
"You cannot stop,"
"I DON'T CARE! I'M STARVING!"
