"Ameradite, please, for the love of fucking God, at least give me some powers! Something to protect myself with! Do you want me to die?!" Lucifer said.
"So, now you're down to persuasion?"
"Yes, I do. Please...mother," Lucifer looked into her eyes. Hearing him call her mother melted Ameradite's resolute and she gave him 25% of her powers but 100% of his confidence back to him.

And with those powers into his chest, he sat beside Valorie, looking at the battlefield before him. He wasn't afraid to do what his heart told him anymore. Valorie was being annoying again but he decided to put up with it for a while so that he could convince Valorie to go to the battle with him.

He was confident but not delusional. He knew he couldn't defeat that army of equipped robots alone with those merge powers he had, but with Valorie, the chances seemed higher.

"Let's go there, to the battlefield," He proposed.
"Are you crazy or suicidal?" Valorie asked. Lucifer looked at Valorie, "You're coming or not?"
He knew the answer.

"Fine, I am. But I can't fight," Valorie got up. Lucifer knew his ways with him. That he could treat him like crap, but Valorie's admiration for him would never make him repel Lucifer.

"Use your powers, back me up, Val," Lucifer held Valorie's hand.
"You'll get me killed someday," He smiled. Lucifer smirked as he looked at him, "I'm sure you'd be glad to die for me,"

Valorie stopped smiling, "No, I wouldn't. That's just lame,"
"You don't wanna die for me?"
"I wanna live for you," Valorie said.
And that was the beginning of his end.

Coelestin charged the robot army with their human leaders towards Loan. He ran towards the contingents supporting Loan with the electric spear in his hand. It gave out electric sparks and Coelestin thursted it into Valtor's chest, the commander of the Irish house of Tuniceaus, bringing him down at once.

He pulled his spear out of his chest and threw it towards a robot who was about to stab general Meinbert on his back. The general turned towards him and laughed as he pulled out the spear from the robot, "As savage as always, your highness,"

Coelestin grabbed his spear from him and slammed on the ground, "Show no mercy,"
"Yes, your majesty,"

Coelestin ran towards a huge robot, about fifteen feet tall which was crushing all the robots. Fearless Coelestin aimed his spear at him and with maximum force he laughed it in the air. But the robot caught it and began twisting it. Before it could break the spear, a huge tornado of electricity emerged from the sky.

As lightening fell on the robot continuously, it overhead and burst open. Coelestin covered his face with his palms and looked at the sky. Lucifer jumped from the sky holding Valorie's hand and landed on the ground leaving massive amount of electricity.

Coelestin looked at them.

"See? I told you we are an awesome pair," Lucifer looked at him.
"Yeah," Valorie jerked his hand as it gave out tiny sparks.

"ANDROIDs are on our side?" Coelestin wondered but returned to battle shortly after, 'I was so wrong about them, I'm ashamed of myself!'

Lucifer flew towards the sky and Valorie's palms gave out electricity which Lucifer directed at their enemies through wind and killed them instantly. They were like a dark cloud wavering over the battlefield.

Within a few minutes, they had killed hundreds of robots. Valorie didn't seem to get tired anytime soon. Which meant that they could kill another hundred or two easily. Most robots recognized the ANDROIDs and ran away from them.

Lucifer laughed, "You may run if you want, but if I really want to kill you, I will hunt you down,"

Finally, they ran into a huge robot,
"A giant," Lucifer said. Valorie looked around, "Where?"
Lucifer held his hand and jumped up. The robot was quick and held Lucifer and Valorie between his fingers, ready to crush them. Valorie gave out electricity from his body but nothing happened.

"He's is insulated," Lucifer said.
"Now what?"
"Now, it's my time to shine," Lucifer said and strong winds surrounded them, breaking the hand of that giant robot away from his body.

Lucifer flew up and Valorie went down. He fell of the ground, breaking his shoulder. He got up, anxious and in pain. His vision was dark,

"Lucifer! Don't leave me behind!"
"Shut up, dumbass! I'm trying to fight!" Lucifer said as he flew towards the sky and the wind followed him. He aimed at the robot's eyes while Valorie ran mindlessly with his arms stretched forward, "Where are you, Lucifer? It's dark, I'm scared!"

Lucifer ignored him and continued fighting the giant robot.
'Damn, I can't win! If this continues, he'll kill both of us. I have to think of certain escape,' Lucifer thought as he fought.
"Lucifer!" Valorie yelled.

'I'll make a wind channel passing through his legs to block his mobility.'
"Lucifer!"
'Wait–I'm getting tired already! The wind is drying down! Oh no–'

"Lucifer!"
"WHAT?! CAN YOU STOP BEING SO ANNOYING?! LEAVE ME ALONE!"
Lucifer shouted.

"But I can't see any–"
Valorie suddenly felt a strong hit on his neck. Everything seemed to shudder, he felt immense pain every nanosecond. Every neuron in him screamed till they ran out of breath. Darkness had enveloped his mind long ago, but now he felt his body giving up too. For seconds, his sight returned.

And he somehow knew it was the last time he'd ever see, hear, feel or smell anything. Someone had stabbed a huge blade through the back his throat, which pierced out from his Adam's apple, tearing away his voice box.

He saw Lucifer's back. He stretched his blood covered hands towards him, he was right there, so close, he tried to scream his name one last time, but no sound came out of his torn up voice box.

Slowly, his vision started going dark again, 'Wait–Not yet. I don't wanna die,'
Tears left his eyes as his knees dug into the ground and he face lay flat on ground.

"VALORIE!"
He heard an echo. His senses were slowly leaving him, he remembered certain events of the past,

"This is Lucifer, our new team mate,"
"Hello Lucifer,"
"You don't seem grateful enough to have me,"

"Ah shit,"
"What is it?"
"Nothing. I just go momentarily blind sometimes,"
Lucifer held his hand, "In that case, I will be your momentary walking stick,"

"Lucifer, the girls are bullying me again,"
"Lets bully them back. Aye Asselyum!"

"Time to kick some butt, ANDROIDs! Val, you're on standby,"
"Aw man, seriously? You never let me fight!"
"Because you're a dum dum so you'll die if you fight and I don't want that,"
"SHUT UP!"

"Why do you always ignore me these days?"
"You're kinda really annoying actually,"
"How?"
"Find out,"

"Haha you like me too much, Val,"
"You're wrong!"
"I'm never wrong,"
"One day you'll be. And then you'll remember me and I hope I'm there to laugh at you,"

"Hey, why do you like me? I'm such an asshole. Look, I killed the entire England–I massacred thousands,"
"But, you also saved millions. My philosophy is...When someone does something wrong, don't forget all the right they did,"

"VALORIE!" Lucifer ran to him.
His eyeballs rolled up to look at Lucifer. He was looking at him, finally.
Lucifer's warm tears fell on his skin. He couldn't move his eyeballs anymore. He couldn't feel the warmth of his tears on his face. He couldn't move at all.

'I don't want to die. I don't want to go. I want to tell you something, Lucifer. Why can't I speak?'
His eyes lost their light and Lucifer leaned closer to his face, "Valorie..."
Coelestin fought with the giant robot behind them.

Lucifer hugged Valorie's corpse, "Please don't leave me,Valorie. You can't just go away in seconds... I've already lost Asselyum, Mik and Norman, please don't go. Valorie!"
His body was cold, the war behind them seemed meaningless. Lucifer looked at him,

"I was wrong. I can't do this alone, I'm too weak. I need help, Val. I need you," He cried,

"You know me, when I make a mistake, I feel it, I embody it, it tears me away, I lose sleep, I'm in so much pain, but nobody can see my pain except you, no matter how hard I try to hide, you always removed the mask on my face and that annoyed me.

You can't go, Valorie.
I'm tired of fighting!" He squeezed him tighter, "I want to go home with you. This place is horrible, Valorie. Let everyone die, I don't care. Let it be just you and me, Valorie...Valorie?"

He gently lay him on the grass and removed his white shirt. He kept it over his face and sat quietly in front of him, topless. At this point, he didn't care about the war, it was of no significance to him. He was busy coming at par with the fact that his best friend was dead.

And he believed it was his fault.

He was ignorant.
He was weak.

"Val..."

"LUCIFER! GET AWAY FROM THERE!" Coelestin shouted.
The robot almost landed his huge fist over Lucifer but suddenly froze. Coelestin looked at him, "What–What happened?" He said.

All the screws on that robot began unbolting themselves and a huge gush of wind covered the entire battle,almost bringing all the soldiers to their knees. One of Lucifer's eyes shone green, the other shine blue.

"Honestly, I'm so tired. But," He wiped her tears and smirked, "I somehow always get the energy to sin,"

He had a blue crown on his head.
