"Ready?" Clanthido held the lever and looked into my eyes. We both looked like humans. He had brown hair and so did I. I tied the belt around me, "Always been,"
He smirked and pulled the lever. The spaceship stopped slowly and I looked at him, "What happened—" It suddenly started with a jolt and went at such a high speed, I felt like my internals were falling apart. We both saw a white light before us and when we stopped, Clanthido puked. My body wasn't feeling very well either. The spaceship had stopped somewhere dark, I couldn't see anything on the moniters, the buttons were shining and the alarms had gone off.

Clanthido removed his belt and walked out of the seat. His condition seemed worse than mine. I removed my belt and walked towards him. My legs seemed to have no strength left in them, "Are you okay?"
He coughed, "Look at the controls, check where we are,"
"You don't know where we are?" We were lost somewhere in the universe and that thought alone made me terrified.

I moved towards the monitor. There was no life near us, no planet, just rocks and a huge black star. Clanthido took some medicines and crawled towards the monitor, "What can you see?" He asked.
"A few rocks and a black star,"
"A black star?"

He got up and looked at the monitor, his eyes widened, "We're approaching a black hole—" He coughed out blood,
"Clanthido!" I shouted.
"Quick, charge back, pull the ship back!"
I pulled the lever up but nothing happened. We were just floating in the universe, slowly moving towards the black hole.

"Why isn't it working?"
"One of us needs to change the engine fuel. I told you we'll have to do some replairing after the time leap we make," Clanthido said.
I looked at the monitor, "I'll do it, you stay here,"
"Okay, open the engine cabinet, you'll find a pump vessel near the furl refilling comoartment, just push the pump into the engine and once it turns from red to green, pull the pump out and close the cabinet."

I wore my space helmet and jumped out of the spaceship. Clanthido sat at the control chair and looked at me from the monitor. I reached the engine and opened the cabinet. An entire computer hologram opened before me. I pressed the pump button and the pump loosed from the cabinet's grip. I pushed it inside the hot engine. It gave off steam, it read "Five minutes to fill," I looked around while the engine was restarting. I could see some rocks moving in a circular motion at a fast speed, I could see planets moving far away from us. I was going through all this for someone I wasn't even sure was alive. I gave him a part of my powers to keep him safe, did he use them?

The engine reboosted. When I pulled the pump out I saw that I had cracks all over my arms. The human skin on my body was ripping away and my blue skin was glowing underneath it. I looked ahead, my head felt dizzy, something was coming towards us, she could feel its vibrations.

"Ameradite," Clanthido stood behind me. He smiled and pressed my head, "What is going on?" I asked.
"The black hole is too close, I can't pull the spaceship away. We're already in its gravitational field."
"What now? We're gonna die,"

"Get into the ship,"
I floated towards the door and he closed it from outside, "What about you?"
"I'll save you," He smiled.
"No, but what about you? What are you gonna do, Clanthido?"

He smiled and moved away from the ship, "Don't let this go in vain, okay?"
"NO!" I pushed the door, "OPEN IT! CLAN! COME ON!"
The door was locked, "Clanthido, not you too,"

His body glew purple, "For once, my powers won't kill someone and that is the sacrifice...I've been waiting to make,"
"NO!"
He flew towards the black hole and his eyes turned black from hazel, "MOVE AWAY! NOW!"
She pulled the trigger and the spaceship started. She looked in the monitor and saw that blackhole was moving away from her. And then suddenly, she saw a sign of life moving towards her. I laughed, "Clanthido, you fucking idiot!"

He unlocked the door and quickly jumped inside, she hugged him and kissed his cheek, "How did you do that?!"
"Well, you know my powers are dark energy. And dark energy can push the black hole horizon away from its center and increase the entropy. Just did that and it worked,"

"...You ate half a blackhole?" His powers always surprised me.
"I might destroy any bathroom I go to tomorrow," He laughed.
"You're such an idiot," I smiled as I looked at him. He smiled, "Anyways, gimme the controls. It's gonna be all smooth from here, we're already inside the milky way,"
"How can you tell?"
"The position of stars,"
She looked ahead, "I wonder what he would be doing right now..."

"What if he found a human partner—"
"I'll kill it,"
"It?"
"That?"
"...I fear anything that gets near him,"

Back on Earth, year 2431, today was the final hearing for Ben's case and the verdict was to be passed. Everyone in mechapolis had gathered around the court. A man dressed up in white walked inside a tower and reached a huge room decorated with broken glass shards. A tall man with grey hair looked outside the huge glass windows at the court tower far away in the fog. A blonde girl stood beside him, with her hands around his arms.

"You called, sire?"
"Loan," He looked at the crowd, "Make sure Ben doesn't win this case,"

Ben walked into the court as the police surrounded him and protected him from the crowd. Some people liked him and some didn't. Those who liked him and supported him were called Crusaders and those who hated him were called Revolutionists. This division in the society was slowly breaking oiut into a civil war. All the ANDRIODS stood behind Ben in the courtroom.

"Of course, sire," Loan bowed.

Ben stood in front of the bench of five judges in the supreme court. Two of them were Crusaders and the other two were Revolutionists. The one who sat in the middle, Mr Peterson, had the decision in his hands to form a majority with either of the pair.

"What Ben did was a mistake. He didn't plan on making something against humanity, it was just a failed experiment,"
"But it was mistake which means he should be punished,"
"But he's the one who saved us from those monsters—"
"He made those monsters! He was just fixing his mistake,"
"Exactly, and he fixed it so I don't know the court is even having this trial."
"BECAUSE 7.4 BILLION PEOPLE DIED! WE ARE ON THE VERGE OF EXCTINCTION."
"The court is doing what it needs to which is providing justice to all!"

The judges heard the arguments on both the sides, but the decision was pre decided. After an entire session of four hours, Justice Peterson gave his final verdict, "After looking at all the proofs and the arguments, it is clear that Ben did acts that put the entire humanity at stake, although, he did fix it in the end but the people we lost will never come back. Hundreds of children today are orphans, thanks to one man. The death rate crossed a billion many years ago, we almost came to the brink of extension and this fact cannot be overruled. He is and will always be a murderer and shall be punished like all other murderers. So, within the special maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United World Government, Evelyn Benjamin or more popularly known as Ben, shall be punished by life imprisonmen.

All the androids will be dismantled and kept in museums, and their monarchies will be ruled under the united provinces by the Dionisius royal family."

Ben's eyes widened as he looked at the judges, "You're turning the provinces back into a monarchy?"

As soon as the decision was announced, an angry crowd of Crusaders ran inside the courtroom and the Revolutionists fought back. The police surrounded Ben and took him into a car. The judges ran away from the emergency exists.

Loan smirked, "The work is done, sire,"
The man with grey hair smirked as he looked at the people fighting amongst each other, "Get him,"
Loan walked through the crowd and reached the police officers. He got into the bus with Ben and they drove away. The ANDRIODS controlled the crowd.

"Can I address the people once?" Ben asked the police chief.
"Don't you understand the position you're in, you libtard?"
"But sir, people are fighting amonst themselves because of me. I can stop that—" Ben got up.
He pointed a gun at Ben, "Sit down,"

Ben sat down quietly and looked outside the window. They reached a dark forest covered with fog and halted the bus, "Get down," The police chief said.
"Where are we going?" Ben asked.
"Shut up and get down!" He grabbed his hair and threw him down the bus. Ben slowly got up and looked back. Loan pressed a gun on his neck, "Start walking,"

Ben quietly began walking and the police bus left after a while.
"Who are you?" Ben asked as they both walked in the woods.
"You'll know soon enough,"
They reached a door in the middle of the woods. He opened the door and found a dark staircase.

"Move," Loan said.
Ben moved down the stairs and reached a huge, well lit laboratory. Loan walked behind him and locked the door. Ben looked around the laboratory at all the equipments and the computer screens.

"Welcome Ben," He heard and turned back. His pink eyes focused at a man standing behind the railings at the top. He wore a balck masquerade and his blue eyes looked down at Ben. A blonde stood beside him. He had dull grey hair and a smile on his face, "This is now your new home,"

He felt a sharp tingling on his neck and touched it to find a needle, "You've been looking tired. Why don't you take a long rest?" Loan said.
Ben felt dizzy and moved towards Loan, "What did you—" He fainted. Loan washed his hands and wore his synthetic gloves.
"Now then," His brown eyes looked at Ben, "Let's get to business,"
