Lupin and Denis stood before Jimmy. "Do the suction," He passed him a cloth. "Hold it here,"
"Ugh, I can feel the blood and flesh." Denis groaned.
"Don't faint. Move your toes and breathe slowly." Lupin instructed while working on his injuries.

He brought in an ECG and quickly did the setup. Jimmy's pulse was low, so they had to act fast. He gave him some anesthesia.
"What are you going to do?" Daniel asked.
"I don't know."

"What? Aren't you a doctor?"
"I'm just a student--I haven't finished my degree."
"You mean you haven't done anything like this before?"
"No,"
"He's going to die--"
"Just shut up, dude. Let me think."

Lupin was wheezing and sweaty. He closed his eyes and tried to remember the classes he had attended.

"A craniotomy is one of the main types of surgery used to treat severe head injuries. During a craniotomy, a hole is made in the skull so the surgeon can access your brain.

The surgeon will remove any blood clots that may have formed in your brain and repair any damaged blood vessels. Once any bleeding inside your brain has stopped, the removed piece of skull bone will be replaced and reattached using small metal screws."

Lupin opened his eyes and imagined everything he was going to do. His hands were shivering. He struck them hard on the table to calm himself. Denis stared at him.

"Alright, let's start."

Axel fixed the battery inside Asselyum's head and closed it back.
"Asselyum?" Axel said.
She didn't reply.
"Why isn't it working? Goddammit!"

"Ben, the portal has opened overhead!" MiK shouted as she ran towards him and Lucifer.
"Who is the mechanic among you?" Ben asked.
"Me..." Axel raised his hand.
"Come with me,"
Ben picked him up into his arms and flew towards the sky. His boots were giving off heat, just like Asselyum.

As Riley and Gotham continued fighting, Slaine took Asselyum farther from them on his back. She slowly opened her eyes.

'This temperature'

She got up and looked at Slaine's neck. He was back. She clenched his sweatshirt over his shoulders and he looked back at her, "You're up?" He stopped running.
"Riley lied," She said. He took a sigh and walked among the rubble and the dead bodies of the X-DROIDs.

"Riley always lies. What's new?" Slaine shook his head.
"He is an X-DROID."
"What?! Then, why is he fighting Gotham? Aren't they on the same side?"
"Fighting Gotham?"
"Yeah,"

Asselyum turned back and looked at them fighting. Though, he seemed tired. "What happened?" Slaine asked.
"Why is he doing this? Is it another plan?" Asselyum said.
"Tell me everything that happened while I was gone."
"Riley and I became friends. He was nice--And I guess he still is, maybe."
"Huh?"

"Put me down. I'll go help him."
"You sure you're okay." He left her thighs and she jumped down from his back.
"It doesn't matter." She ran towards Gotham. Slaine slid his hands into the pockets of his jeans.

"It's time to use it."

"Wait," She held his hand and he looked at her, "Yes?"
"Before you leave again, I want to tell you something,"
"Yeah, what is it? Be quick, I have to go,"
"...You fascinate me," She smiled, "Only you do," 

His eyes widened with surprise, "Asselyum..."
She stopped smiling, "Go,"

Lucifer still stared at the place where Ben was sitting a while ago.

"Hey Lucy, you got this!"

"Heh. It's so easy for you to say it. But do you have any idea how much it hurts me when I see how sad you are?"

Lucifer remembered the time when Ben took him in and raised him like his own child. How Ben never treated him any differently even after knowing he was an X-DROID.

"People like you touched his soul with your dirty hands and ruined the Ben I loved so much. Why do I have break everything I adore? Why can't you leave the person I love alone? Why can't you let Ben be happy? He deserves happiness more than anyone. We are siblings so we should understand each other, right? I don't want to do this! I don't want to kill everyone again." He cried as he clenched his teeth.

That incident did affect him. He did regret taking a nation down but he never showed it.

"Ben, nobody knew you but everyone wanted you to die. I don't want to live in a world without you. But I'm scared I'm losing you." He cried. His throat was clearing up from all the pain he held, rolling down his cheeks.

A gentle breeze stroked Lucifer's hair and he looked up. It was the wind, which revolved around him and dried off his tears.

He snorted as the breeze turned mellow and pleasing to his skin.
"I can communicate with the wind." He reached his hand forward and felt the wind touch it.

"I need you."
The wind howled into his ears.
"Command me."

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, "Raise hell."
Slowly, the wind became stronger and so strong that it struck the bridge over it and it broke down into two halves. Gotham and everyone else turned back.

"Lucifer!" Asselyum said as Lucifer rose into the air, "Don't do it!"

"There is a line you must never cross, Lucifer. Or you'll lose any humanity left inside you."

"Don't do it!" MiK shouted

"If I shan't cross lines now, when will I?! When everyone's dead? I'm sorry, peasants-- But I'm not in a mood to lose anyone of you."
"You've gone insane!"
"Everyone, hold your breath. I'll be using your air."

Everyone held their breath and felt a suction around them. All the air rose towards Lucifer and formed a huge column around him. They left their breath slowly.

"Oof. Lucifer is in some mood," Norman said as all of them moved back and Gotham moved towards him.

"So, you've finally lost yourself?"
"And you'll be losing next." One of his eyes glowed green while the other one glowed blue. Her eyes glowed green as all the water from the river rose up, "You better not bore me."

He rose a hurricane and she rose a tsunami. Everyone else ran away from them. Slaine ran towards the injured Riley. He sat beside him,
"Do me a favour," Slaine said as he took out a test tube from his pocket. It had something blue inside it.
"What?" He slit Riley's hand with his knife and squeezed it.

"Ow! What are you-"
"Done," He collected his blood in the test tube and shook it well. "Axel! The runblaster!"
Axel threw it at him and he caught it. He quickly inserted the pin inside his wrist and fixed the test tube inside the runblaster, connecting to a syringe. He turned off its light and aimed it at Gotham. Everything seemed to slow down. He only had one chance to put the perfect aim. Only one. 

He took deep breaths and calmed himself.
"You have to focus," He heard Asselyum, "It's just like skateboarding, you make your own style.  Connect with it. Become one with your want,"

Power

He pressed his hand over the trigger. 

Or elegance.

And off the syringe went at full speed.

"What did you do?" Riley asked.
"Save us all."

Lupin and Denis stood at the table. Jimmy's breathing was unstable and his chest inflated and dilated as he breathed. Lupin was sweating a lot as he slowly removed the blood clots in his brain.

Denis looked at him. His eyes were focused and his hands weren't shaking anymore. He just stared at him but suddenly the blood began leaking out of the towel.

It filled the entire cavity and the pressure began falling. The ECG alarms ticked off, "Eek! Blood!" Denis pulled away.
"You fool!" Lupin pressed the towel back but it was useless, "This towel is soaked with blood already."

Lupin tore another packet of sterilised towel. Jimmy's heatbeat grew unstable. "Move aside," Denis moved away and Lupin pressed the towel on the wound. It soon turned red from white.

"Hold it." He told Denis and picked up an unknown tool which Denis had never seen.
"Now, I'll repair the damaged blood vessels so that his bleeding stops."
Denis nodded.

Lupin looked inside, 'I can't understand anything...What am I doing? He'll die.'
