CODE 47 Warning

Evelyn realised that he could breathe underwater. He hid behind the rocks as he saw Lucifer and Gotham fight. But then she left and he just went down. She went back up while Evelyn slowly swam towards Lucifer.

He grabbed his hands and pulled him up to the surface of water. He reached beneath the bridge and pressed him on the floor.

"Hey, you okay?" He asked.
Lucifer slowly opened his eyes. His eyesight was going out of whack. His vision was blurring and tilting, the world was spinning and black spots were consuming his sight. He remembered,

"Everything is messed up, Lucifer."
"I can help you, Ben."
"How?"
"His majesty will himself fight for you!"
"Lucifer, can you kill your own siblings?"
"You just say it and I shall put an end this ugly world altogether."

'Memories are the worst manifestation of regrets.

But I think my problem is that I have really fantastic bad ideas. I'm about to die just because I had this sudden idea to save you.

"Ben...You look so little...Makes me want to save you from everyone who would hurt you" Lucifer smiled as he looked at Evelyn.

Suddenly, Evelyn saw a shadow and turned back, it was Giles and Valorie.

"Valorie,"

Back on that day, Lucifer had told Asselyum about the secret he mentioned.
"I want to tell you something but it must be kept as a secret." Lucifer told Asselyum.
"What is it?"
"Slaine isn't Ben. It's that little kid with him."
"Evelyn?"

"Yes. But don't kill him."
"Why?"
"If Evelyn dies, it'll create a time paradox. You and I will disappear."
"And so will the X-DROIDs!"
"That's not the point. The entire Mechapolis will collapse if Ben dies. He made everything--I won't let him give up on us. I want to be fought for."

"But he told me to kill him. So that means he wants Mechapolis to fall."
"Are you prepared?"
"For what?"
"For disobeying Ben's orders for the first time?"
"Never."

"Your call. I followed his orders and killed an entire nation. I regret it till date. Just don't do something that'll make you regret your actions like me."

"Lucifer..." Asselyum wanted to cry, but she didn't. Jimmy was beginning to get tired.
"We are finishing it now, Asselyum,"

"You have to fight." She heard Ben's words in her head, "If you get into emotions, you'll lose everything. Do you want to lose everything?"

She shouted as she ran towards Delete.
"Why can't I cry? Why?!" She shouted as Jimmy fought, "Just because I was made for war? But did he forget that even if war has the biggest number of brave hearts--It also has a greater number of tragedies,"

Her ear glowed from those blue sparks again.
"Asselyum, calm down!" Jimmy shouted. Everything was falling out of plan. He didn't know how to defeat Delete. He had never fought a C2 before. He could feel those sparks in his ears too.

"Dammit, it hurts! Asselyum-- Stop!"
"I hate you so much..." Asselyum looked at Delete. Jimmy turned towards Lupin. He held a note in his hand.

"If you want something you've never had, you have to do something you've never done."

Jimmy looked at Lupin for awhile.
'Think Jimmy...'
He got up and punched his hand in the air with maximum force. Asseylum did the same on the cement wall and Jimmy felt the pain of his breaking bone.
"The fuck are you doing, Jimmy?" Axel said.

"Her hand had cracks and electricity leaked from them."
Lupin shook his head.
"I'm sorry, Asseylum. But we'll have to do it this way."
"Jimmy?"
He ran towards Delete and grabbed her arms. The electricity flowed through her and all her insides burned.

But she wasn't the only one through whom the electricity was flowing. It was Jimmy too. Lupin ran towards his computer switched on the insulators inside Asselyum's body.

The flow stopped at once and Jimmy fell on the ground. "Wow, this hurt more than I thought even after standing on an insulator platform. What about her, Lupin?"
Lupin looked into Asselyum's screen. Delete lay dead on the ground. He gave Jimmy a thumbs up.

But Asselyum's power levels were low now. She couldn't stand anymore, "You should rest a bit, you dummy." Axel opened Asselyum's back. It gave out steam and burned his fingers.

"Oof, my hands! You fucker-- She's overheated!" Axel complained and Jimmy laughed.
"Quit laughing! Jesus Christ, adults!"

Slaine came back to his room but he couldn't sleep. He was thinking all night. But he had decided what to do next. Early in the morning, while everyone else was asleep, he sneaked out of the Mechapolis tower on his longboard.

He cruised through the city, hiding from the police robots. Finally, he reached Ben's laboratory. He entered the old house and locked the door from inside. He walked into the basement and then into the laboratory.

He looked through all the files and folders--But they only had the data Ben collected in the study, nothing else. He couldn't find anything useful there. Disheartened, Slaine returned.

He couldn't understand anything and that made him frustrated. He opened the fifth volume and read those three lines again. Maybe they had some other meaning in them too? Oh why did he burn all the other volumes?

He threw the fifth volume on the table and drank his green tea while looking at the city from the ten feet huge glass window of his room. He realised he never saw the sun ever since he came to the future, and it was extremely cold there. He kept his cup back on the table while looking at the sky.

He accidently spilled the tea on the book and got up.

"Fuck!"
He took a tissue and pressed it over the book to absorb the tea but the pages became darker and darker, until he could read the things written on them.

He dropped the book on the floor and the pages flipped in the wind. The fifth volume wasn't empty at all! It was infact the first volume disguised as the fifth.

The first page had a picture of a graveyard. Slaine was digging into something deep. Something told him he would regret reading it.

Something might change.
For the good.
For the bad.
For the worst.

"I am Evelyn. And this is a warning."
