The Oval Office
Washington D.C

President Sawaki was looking at the window of the oval office while listening to what was going on in the news.

"Its been 5 years since Mexico and Canada are intergrated into the United States. Congress is now deciding how these newly admitted nations can be turned into states?" 

He then turns off the transparent screen that was installed in the office. The Secretary enters the Oval Office to inform President Sawaki about what was going on with foreign policies and such. The Secretary is holding a tablet as he set it down at the table.

"Mr. President, I'm here to inform you about Russian and Chinese Intelligence" he said

President Sawaki turned around and sat down at his chair. He looked at the tablet he was given and some topics include Chinese Continued Cyberattacks since 2017, Russian intelligence, and much more. Ever since the War On Terror ended at 2025, things escalated much worse. 

"What are we going to do Mr. President. We're at the brink of World War III. Russia had threatened the entire NATO, China has confirmations to invade Taiwan, and the Philippine islands." he said

"What were gonna do? Nuclear weapons are our last resort, we're going to stationed more of our troops in the Pacific, and in the European theater. We got bases in the Baltics, and the Nordic regions."

Then suddenly sirens can be heard all around the Capital. 

"What the hell is going on?" President Sawaki asked as he got up and looked outside the window. His face was filled with shocked as he saw what was going on.

"Holy Mother of god!"

Ethan a young man in the US army is currently off duty. He has this time to relax, spend time with his family, smoke weed, and watch anime. While going on his day, he decided to head downtown Los Angeles to do some shopping. While he was shopping for some stuff for his apartment, he noticed some changes in the atmosphere, then a huge bright light occurred in the distant freaking out everyone. Ethan couldn't keep his eyes away from that bright light.

"What the hell is that?"! he said to himself

 Then it consumed the entire city including himself. 

Apparently this isn't just happening in America, but also reports from the two former nations of Mexico and Canada. The bright light created a barrier all around the continent and then suddenly, it just disappeared from sight. Nothing but two oceans connecting each other.

Meanwhile in an Alternate Universe

The date was August 10 in the year 2010 of the Imperial Calendar. The Holy Britannian Empire had just declared war upon Japan. The Far East island nation had held fast to its neutrality, and now Britannia looms as the world's only superpower. Rights to Japan's underground resources became a hotly disputed issue straining the already deep-rooted diplomatic tensions between the two sides. In the deciding battle for the mainland, Britannian forces introduced into combat the humanoid autonomous armored knight known as the Knightmare Frame. The enemy's forces were far greater than anticipated, and the Knightmares obliterated the Japanese line of defense on the mainland with little effort. Japan became a dominion of the Empire. The country was stripped of its freedom, its rights, and its name. Area 11. The defeated and once proud nation of Japan was rechristened with a mere number.

Seven years has passed, and countless terrorist attacks occurred all over the Tokyo Settlement. Things just made it worse for the former Japanese people. They continue to fight against their opressors. Without knowing what was going on in the North American Continent, things are about to change either for the better or the worse.

The Royal Family of the Britannian Empire were at a party in South America for a celebration for a holiday. While everyone was enjoying food and drinks, they had no idea what was going on.

Imperial Palace

In the Imperial Palace, aristocrats who stayed to watch the palace were going about their business including talking, watching the news and some planning to reform policies and adding new policies to the government. While some went out to get some food or visit the commoners.

Citizens of Pendragon were also going about their business until they see a bright light in the distannce.

"What was that?" 

"A bright light?"

"It's heading towards us" 

The Bright light expands all the way, swallowing the entire North American Continent, then all of the sudden it was gone. Hours after the media from territories and Areas reported that the entire North American Continent was gone that means Britannia was gone for good.

All of the Areas that were conquered by Britannia were celebrating the disappearance of Britannia as  they were in relief. Members of the Royal Family were devastated because they had lost their families and close friends. Even the common people of Britannia were also devastated, and some who opposed the Government were happy to see it go. For the better.

In a giant screen in the middle of the Tokyo Settlement, the Viceroy of Area 11, Clovis La Britannia began to make a statement. 

"To all of my imperial subjects, and of course the many Elevens who decided to serve Britannia"

Meanwhile in a highway

Two Japanese young adults who gose by the name of Kallen Kozuki, and Takeshi Nagata who just stole what it appears to be chemical weapons were watching on the screen.

"WE'RE NOT "ELEVENS" WE'RE JAPANESE!!" she said in anger 

Back to the Announcement

"I'm afraid we have terrible and sad news to tell you, I got reports that the Britannia Mainland has disappeared from our maps. Have no fear my fellow subjects, the entire royal family is currently residing in the South American Continent. However as ruler of Area 11, we must come together to mourn the ones we have lost so suddenly. Families, friends, and many other loved ones.  Now then everyone I would like you to join me in a moment of silence."

"A moment of silence Please"

While everyone was in silence, two students name Lelouch Lamperouge and Rivalz were at a parking spot, paid for parking as a miniature gate lowered. Lelouch on the other hand was kinda shocked to hear. But that doesn't truly mean it was gone, the Royal Family could just move to another part of their territory and just settled there.

"Are you gonna join in?" Rivalz asked

"Aren't you?" Lelouch asked

"Nah, it's sort of embarrassing"

Lelouch nodded in agreement

"And I agree with you, besides, Britannia isn't truly gone. The Royal Family is still alive. As long as their alive and well, Britannia isn't dead" 

"You make some good points there Lelouch, I guess we don't have to worry, but i still feel bad for the families and our fellow citizens who disappeared from the continent."

Later

Nagata and Kallen were driving the chemical weapons back to base, they confused claiming that Britannia was gone, but after seeing multiple sources of Britannia being gone, they were in some relief, but the Royal Family is still alive, so I guess its kinda good. 

"Gone? I can't believe it!" Kallen said

"Neither can I, what dose this mean?" Nagata asked

"well were retreating back to base and inform Ohgi about this" Nagata said as Kalle nodded

All the while, Lelouch and Rivalz were on the highway as Rivalz drove the motorcycle and Lelouch sat in the second seat.

"That first move you made, Why'd you start with the king?" Rivalz asked"

"If the king doesn't lead, how can he expect his subordinates to follow?" Lelouch asked

"What's with that?" RIvalz asked

"With what?"

"Do you fantasize about running a major corporation?"

"No way. Ambitions like that will ruin your health..."

Then a truck honks behind the two as the big vehicle is trying to get by them.

"AAAAH We're gonna die"

Inside the truck, Nagata and Kallen were driving

"You idiot! Watch where you going!" Nagata said

"NO NOT THAT WAY"

Nagata took a wrong turn as it passes to a construction road and crashes into a warehouse. The two stop in their motorbike

 "Uh... Was that our fault?" Rivalz said

"I don't think so"

In the sky, a Britannian police ship surveys the area as it finds the truck crashed into a warehouse.

"Control, the target has crashed at the abandoned V.O building construction site." 

"The military will take over General Bartley's command. 

"Him?!"

Hours Later

Ethan found himself in his bedroom along with his belogings and other stuff. He woke up to find himself lying down in his bedroom. He immedialtey shot himself up.

"What the hell?" He said

The last thing he remembers was that he blacked out in the middle of Downtown LA, then suddenly woke up in his bed. He looked outside the window to see the night sky with Downtown LA all lit up for the night. He walked outside of his bedroom, until his phone rang. He picked up his phone and placed it on his ear.

"Hello?"

"Hello? Sgt. Suzuki? We're gonna need you back in service, apparently the President is holding an emergency meeting and it requires all military personael to get involved." 

"Yes sir" 

"We need you back ASAP" 

"Yes sir" he siad as he hung up the phone.

Washington DC

President Suzuki woke up from the bright light, he finds himself in the Oval Office along with the Secretary of State. The Secretary of State, and the Secret Service quickly rushed into his office to help him up.

"Mr. President are you ok?" Secret Service 1 asked

"yes Im fine thank you" he said "I need to know what has happened" 

"yes Mr. President" they all said as they rushed out the office to find out what has happened.

President Sawaki announced that congress will come together and discuss on what has happened and will find out what  has happened. Hours has passed and NASA informed to the President that they seem to be on Earth but a different Earth. According to their Sattlelites, they seem to see these humanoid looking robots that seems to be fighting all around the world. Something that America dosen't seem to have. Later they found alot of activity going on in Japan. They saw very shocking images of Japan being all ruins, and next to it is whta it seem to be a city for the elites to live in.

One Day Later, Congress have came together to discuss on what has happened. Senators, and Representatives of each state greeted each other as they wait for the President to arrive. Then someone shouted

"MISTER SPEAKER, THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES"

Then everyone began to applaud as President Sawaki enters Congress. He shook hands with various sentars and representaive as he was being escorted by two other men in black suits. The two men then sat down near the President as he entered the podium to speak. Everyone sat down.

"Thank you very much" he said as his Vice President Sean McHenry sat down behind him

"Mr. Speaker, Mr. Vice President, Members of Congress, First lady of the United States, Fellow Americans," 

The first lady of the United States of America is name Lily Kobayasahi Sawaki.

"We meet today because yesterday a bright light as engufled the entire nation itself. I called NASA, the FBI and the CIA to investigate on what has happened. However, we only have small evidence on what has happened." 

"According to NASA, we have seem to be on Earth, but not the Earth we are familiar with." he said as he showed screens of what it apepars to be war going on, with humanoid robots that are fightin each other

"This is the evidence, not only that we have also found out that our overseas troops seems to have mysterious returned back to our nation. If I have to say, it seems that the Lord himself has plans for America to be on this different Earth." 

While he kept talking, the next thing he talked about is Japan

"We have also shocking evidence that Japan seems to be suffering from some elitits crisis." he said as he showed pictures of the ruined city next to a futuristitc looking city.

"We don't know what is going on, but under my administration, I will began an investigation of this mysterious phenomenon and I will make sure we get answers 100%."

Back in Area 11

The crashed truck then emits a sparkling dust from its compartment. Lelouch looks at is as Rivalz checks his motorbike.

 Lelouch: What the--?

 Rivalz: Oh, man, this sucks! Looks like the power line on the bike got cut. 

Lelouch: Yeah... Rivalz, come check this out.

 Man 1: Hey! Over here! 

Man 2: Whoa... nasty crash. 

Woman 1: What happened, some sort of accident? 

Man 3: Probably a drunk driver. 

Woman 2: It's always some moron! A man takes a picture on his phone.

 Man 4: Hey, maybe somebody oughta go help. 

Lelouch was slighty annoyed that no one came to help them.  He then leaves Rivalz with the motorbike. 

Inside the truck, Kallen and Nagata are knocked out by the airbags. Nagata woke up as Lelouch approaches the damaged truck as the bystanders chatters on what happened. 

Man 5: Look, the student rescue team has arrived!

 Woman 3: So like, why doesn't somebody call for help, y'know? 

Lelouch then approaches the front asking if anyone is alright He then climbs onto the truck. Inside the truck, Kallen tries to wake up the Nagata. 

"Nagata! Nagata!" Kallen said

 Lelouch climbs on top of the truck. 

"Can you hear me? Are you okay?!" Lelouch shouted

 Then a mysterious voice calls out to him.

"It's you... Finally, I have found my...."

Lelouch snaps out of it as he looks around for the voice. Then the driver activates the truck and pulls back as Lelouch falls into the compartment.

 "Stop! I'm in here!"

 The truck then speeds away on to the freeway. Then Britannian military vehicles arrive on the scene. It shouted onto the speaker.

"Surredner now, and you'll get the chance to defend yourself in court. Stop and surrender at once!"

 The Britannian helicopters then fires at the truck as the runaway vehicle does zig-zags to avoid the bullets. The drivers inside try to make sure they get away while holding on. 

"Give up now, or we will shoot to kill!"

"Now whadda we do?! That's the Britannian Army! 

"Have you forgotten? That's what I'm here for!" Kallen said as she took off her hat

As they were being chased, the helicopters suddenly took an oppisite turn. Nagata and Kallen  didn't seem to hear them being chased. 

"Whats going on?" Kallen asked

"Did they just gave up?" Nagata

"No way, they wouldn't give up that easy" Kallen said 

The Truck then enters a tunnel on the other side of the tunnel there was the freeway but no sign of the helicopter or the army. 

"Something not right" Kallen said

"Well whatever what happened I think we lost them" Nagata said 

Apparently Clovis made a second announcement saying he needs all military personnel to retreat back to the Government Borough of Area 11.  This was because due to the disappearance of the mainland Britannia. This include the Army, the Honorary Britannians, the Britannaiin Purist Faction and many more. 

After what it seems to be a while, Kallen and Nagata were home free. It was a mission success the weapon they acquire will be escorted back to their base unharmed. Except for one Britannian boy. After returning to the Ghettos, Lelouch stood and stay quiet. He then recognize the one of them which happens to be Kallen.

"Wait a minute I recognize her...." That was until Lelouch phone went off

"Oh shit!"

Ashford Academy 

In the school, a female student named Shirley tried to call Lelouch, but ends up getting frustrated by his shenanigan's

"Huh? That Jerk! He hung up on me! I can't believe it"

Shinjuku Ghetto

He was spotted by Kallen and Nagata. He was tied up and was taken back at their base. Inside the base there was six other Japanese people were happy to see Nagata and Kallen coming back but surprised to see a young Britannian student.

"Nagata Kallen!" An older gentleman said

"Hey Ohgi, we got what we wanted, but it included this Britannian boy" Nagata said

"Who is this?" Ohgi asked

"I know him" Kallen said "he gose to school with me, his name is Lelouch Lamperouge" Kallen said

Lelouch got a closer look, he immedlatey recognize her "Wait your Kallen Stadtfeld" 

"Yes, and I rather be called Kallen Kozuki" she said

"I had no idea you'd be working for the terrorist" he said

"If its an order to get my country back then yes" she said sternly 

Then suddenly the gas began to activate on its own. Everyone got down to cover thier face, but they were shocked to see ther was no gas inside, but a young women with green hair, wearting a straight jacket.

"Wait that's no gas" Lelouch said looking at the girl

The Resistance managed to get the girl off of the empty canister and untied her. 

"This is worse than we can imagine" Nagata said

"Why the hell are Britannians putting people inside these capsules?" A Resistance member name Kento Sugiyama said

The lady with green hair then grabbed Lelouch's hand and Lelouch finds himself like in another dimension or sorts.

"You appear to have a reason for living."

"The girl? That's impossible!"

"If I grant you power, could you go on? I propose a deal. In exchange for this power you must agree to make my one wish come true. Accept this contract and you accept its conditions, while living in the world of humans, you will live unlike any other. A different providence, a different time, a different life. The power of the king will condemn you to a life of solitude. Are you prepared for this?"

 "Yes! I hereby accept the terms of your contract!"

From that day on, Lelouch's life is changed forever after he made that contact with that girl.

Finally US Congress has finally made a decision to do a thoroughly investigation on what has happened. All military branches are now focus on investigating the entire world and hopefully no battles will have to take place. One of them is Ethan Suzuki who will be going to Japan to investigate the situation. 

He put on his gear and was put onto an aircraft that will transport him to Japan.

"I'm going to Japan, I'm back on duty. As a soldier of the United States Army"
