Relations between the United States of Japan and the United Republic of America are very positive, friendly and Prime Minster Ohgi considers America as its greatest ally. Not only an ally but it's fundamental to regional stability and prosperity. Both nations provide bases as well as financial and material support. They also have a fair trade deal with each other. Gaining access to URA technology. Ohgi sent members of the Kyoto House except for Sumeragi as ambassadors to the United Republic Of America and the United Nations.  Not only the Japanese Military has been recovered, but it's also been reformed and has better technology. Their Knightmares is a combination of Sakuradite and Alien Technology. The police force has also been restored and reformed with better simulations and better training. Japan has its own version of the CIA called the Cabine Intelligence and Research Office. Japan is the first nation to have a Space Force on Earth and of course, there are plans to send some Space Force Troops over to Mars where American colonists have colonized the Martian planet. Everyone was happy in Japan. Japan is in a new Golden Age of Technology, Economy, and Medicine. Not only that UNSC presence is present on Earth.

The Pelican was flying over the land and sea to head back to Japan. Along with Bravo Team with new members. Private Ayano Kosaka, Private Yuki Naruse, and Private Ryo Sayama. All been promoted to be part of the UNSC. Not only that they were given full citizenship of the UNSC. That means they can roam around UNSC Space if they wish. Ethan was riding the Pelican while the six patiently waits for the arrival to Japan.

Ayano: I can't believe it...we are going to Japan!

Ryo: I am very excited as well. I heard they got a space force in their branch.

Yuki: A Space force huh? Now that's amazing!

As they got close to Japan, radio transmission can be heard.

???: You are now entering Japan Airspace, identify yourself

Ethan: This is Pelican Echo 254, request permission to land?

???: Very well, you land on landing platform 2. 

Ethan: Thank you

The Pelican lands on platform 2. As it lands, they all look around the area to see what has changed. Turns out nothing really it's been the same. The first person to greet him was Captian Keyes.

Keyes: Welcome back Lieutenant. How was your time at Europia?

Ethan: Tough, but we managed to get some Euro nations to join the UFN.

Keyes: As I heard, and you guys must be new members of the Bravo Team.

Ryo: Yes Captain, I am Pvt. Sayama ODST Sir

Ayano: Pvt. Kosaka Sir

Yuki: Pvt. Naruse Sir

Keyes: we welcome you to Japan all of you now right this way, everyone is waiting for you.

Ethan: Everyone?

Keyes; of course we are celebrating your return.

Ethan: Captain no offense but there is no time to celebrate, we have much work to do

Keyes: Come on Lieutenant, you should relax a little, you been through a tough time in Europia, and you should get some rest. Besides the General says so

Ethan: Very well, lead us to this celebration

Keyes: that's the spirit

Everyone got on board a helicopter where it was Japanese standard military. The aircraft landed in one of the buildings in the Tokyo Settlement. After that, they got off and went on ground level. Ethan looked around seeing nothing changed, but only to see major Japanese people walking around with smiles on their faces.

Ethan: Well well well, I guess our work did pay off well

Keyes: Sure did, thanks to you guys, the Japanese life is better these days

Ethan: What about the refugees we took from Shinjuku or Saitama?

Keyes; They all return back to Japan. Some stayed

Ayano: So this is Japan? Amazing!

Yuki: Looks so futuristic!

Keyes: well come on the Black Knights are waiting

Ethan: Where? 

Keyes: The former Stadtfeld Residence, it belongs to the Kozuki's now. Not only that your classmates will be there. Including Milly, Nina, Shirley, Rivalz, Nunnally, Sayoko, Ruben, and Lelouch.

Ethan: Well let's go

They walked about 3 miles to the mansion where the Kozuki's now own. They opened the door to see everyone was waiting for them. They shouted

"WELCOME BACK LIEUTENANT!"

Ethan could smell food, he looked around with no smile in his face, but they did expect him to not smile at all since he never did. But he did say this.

Ethan: Thank you for the party

Kallen then rushed up to him and hugged him tightly seeing her crush again, but she used him as an advantage that she misses him very much.

Kallen: oh Ethan! I missed you so much

Ethan: Uhhh Kallen.....you can let go of me now

Kallen: Oh uh sorry. Ethan, I just want to say......thank you for saving my brother!

Ethan: Oh...uh yes your brother. Like I said it's a soldier's job to protect people. So I am grateful for your satisfaction.

Kallen said as she smiled but blushing at the same time. The party has started. Ayano, Yuki and Ryo find this very unexpected, and they did meet the man who is Zero. They shook hands and happy see there was a former Britannian prince who is willingly to help Japan back on it's feet. 

Ryo: So you must be the boy who is called Zero. I am Pvt. Sayama

Ayano: I am Pvt. Kosaka

Yuki: Pvt. Naruse. Pleasure to meet the leader of the Black Knights. 

Lelouch: Pleasure is all mine

It was the evening, everyone was having a good time at the party. Ethan on the other hand was out of his armor and looked up at the night sky thinking about the Covenant's arrival to Earth. Kallen went outside and sat next to him.

Kallen: hey Ethan

Ethan: kallen?

Kallen: Mind if I sat next to you?

Ethan: Sure

Kallen: First,  I really want to say thank you for saving my brother Naoto. You are an amazing person Ethan.

Ethan: Not a problem

Kallen: no really, when I thought Naoto died, I was very depressed even my mother. We thought there was no hope, but it was when my mother married the Stadfeld family. I thought it was all over. But when you came to Earth, you....you gave us hope. Not only that your people help defend Japan from the Britannian invasion. 

Ethan: Well I guess you can thank Lord Avoc for bringing Washington over to Grix 

Kallen: Avoc.....

Ethan: Yes, in our flag the science symbol represents him. We worship him as an unexpected prophet. 

Kallen: I see, but since you helped the Kozuki family, there are something I want to give you

Ethan: What?

Kallen then kissed him on his cheek. Ethan didn't know how to react but he was blushing red. He never felt this way before. Is this what it's like to have feelings?

Kallen: So how do you feel?

Ethan: Uhhh, I don't know I mean you kissed me on the cheek and I'm blushing red. 

Kallen: That means you like it but embarrassed at the same time.

Ethan: Embarrassed?

Kallen: It's ok Ethan, it's ok to have feelings, you are born human. Not a soldier. You are born with feelings whether you are happy, sad, angry, or of any kind.  

Ethan: But my drill sergeant told me that Feelings is a submission 

Kallen: no he's wrong, you are born with feelings and you don't have to hold it back you can release it all you like.

Ethan: I understand

Kallen: Now there is something I want to say for a long time, but I can't seem to put it....but....Ethan I........

Then suddenly Captain Keyes shouted and said to him

Keyes: Lieutenant, let's move out, the party is over

Kallen: Already? That was fast!

Ethan: Let's talk about this another time, good night

Kallen: Wait wait I........ahhh man!

Kallen felt so bad for herself that she never was able to confess her love for him. She pouted all the way to her bedroom feeling angry. But she managed to calm down.

UFN HQ, Japan

Zero went to the UFN HQ in Japan to discuss the Chinese Federation. There was a constant insurrectionist all over the Chinese Federation because of the exposure of the High Eunuchs and the panic of the malevolent alien empire called the Covenant. The majority of the nations of the Chinese Federation want independence and join the UFN to fight against the Covenant. But first, they have to fight against Britannia. 

The United Federation of Nations had new members all over the globe. Known members are Japan, The Middle East Federation, All of East Europe, and West Russia. East and Central Africa. So you can say the UFN is growing in numbers. The United Federation of Nations along with its ally the United Nations are working together. Representatives of each nation sat down and listening to Zero about the Chinese Federation.

Zero: My dear friends, the Chinese Federation has gone through insane insurrectionist, I proposed we head over to the Chinese Federation. So according to intelligence from the URA, the High Eunuchs wishes to start a political marriage between the Chinese Federation and Britannia. 

Everyone gasped to hear this statement. This could also mean Britannia could just annex China and there would be problems.

 Zero: So I decided to make a proposal that we shall pay a visit to the Chinese Federation and we shall meet with Empress Tianzi. The High Eunuchs has committed crimes against humanity, and it's time we shall take the Chinese Federation to dismantle it, and then we will ask them to join the UFN

Everyone applauded

Zero took off his mask to meet with Kaguya Sumeragi. She jumped up and hugged him.

Sumeragi: Master Lelouch welcome back

Lelouch: Sumeragi, it's good to see you again.

Sumeragi: Oh I am such a huge fan since your debut as Zero of course. 

Lelouch: Well I'm glad you idolize me. But anyway, we need to move out. We are heading over to the Chinese Federation

Sumeragi: Wonderful, I have a friend who is living in China. Not only that it happens to be Empress Tianzi herself

Lelouch: I didn't know you were friends with her.

Sumeragi: Sure am!

Lelouch: Very well, we will be leaving for China in a few days. 

Kallen: Lelouch, are you going to send Bravo Team as well?

Lelouch: now that is up to his superiors, not my decision.

URA Base, Hokkaido

The General went up to Bravo Team. They all saluted to him and said to them

General: Bravo team, I have a mission for you 

Ethan: What is it, sir?

General: According to our intelligence the UFN is sending the Black Knights over to the Chinese Federation to stop a political marriage. I am sending you to follow the Black Knights to the Chinese Federation and aid them to end the political marriage. 

Yuki: A political marriage that sounds interesting

Ethan: So you want us to assassinate the High Eunuchs or something?

General: No Lelouch said that he will handle that

Ethan: Very well sir

General: Good luck

Time Skip

The Chinese Federation an alliance of nations boasting the largest population on Earth, but the truth is, there is constant insurrectionist. The symbol of this alliance is the empress. The ruling class that controls society from her shadow. Something that the Americans really disapproves of. Poverty and stagnation took the life of the nation's people. The Japanese Government has sent forces over to the Chinese Federation to stop a political marriage between Britannia and China. Along with URA, and UNSC Personel. The High Eunuchs, the most powerful men at the time allow Zero and the rest to visit China thinking they were helping them to stop the insurrectionist. But in reality, this wasn't the reason why they visited China. 

The Black Knights arrived in the Chinese Federation waters with a Japanese-made Supercarrier called Zero named after Zero or Lelouch himself. There was the Japanese flag waving proudly as the wind blows. The Black Knights and Bravo Team arrived on a small ship and they landed on a Chinese Port. On the port, they see one of the High Eunuchs. Zero and one of the High Eunuchs named Gao Hai introduced to each other and shook their hands.

Zero: My name is Zero

Gao Hai: Zero we welcome you to the Chinese Federation. behind me is Xingke, and his loyal subordinates. And this is a surprise looks like one of the members of the Revolutionary Frontier has also tagged along with the Black Knights. 

Ethan: Yes sir, you may call me the Lieutenant and these are my teams.

Gao: well welcome to the Chinese Federation. I hope you enjoy your stay here. 

Zero: oh we will enjoy our stay here.

Xingke also introduced himself to the Black Knights and to the Revolutionary Frontier. They already know who Xingke is. He is a loyal servant to Tianzi, Bravo Team's mission was to convince him and Tianzi to leave China, and let China join the UFN and the rest of the independent nation. As the High Eunuchs left, the Black Knights returned back to the Zero and began to fulfill their plans to overthrow the High Eunuchs and established a democratic nation.

Fenette Residence

CIA Agent Diethard Ried, and his boss, Leon Kennedy knocked on the door to the Fenette's residence. Mrs. Fenette opened the door to see two men in black and sunglasses. They asked her

Diethard: Are you Mrs. Fenette?

Sophia: Uh Yes I am

Leon: we are here to inform you that you are free to visit your husband. Are you ready to go?

Sophia: Yes, just I need Shirley to get here.

Soon Shirley went and followed her mother. She sees two CIA operatives they were taken to a van and they were driving up North to the Tokyo Settlement. As they parked they were taken to a helicopter and then they were traveling to the Hokkaido Region where they landed on some underground base. 

Shirley: Whoa where are we?

Diethard: This is the Revolutionary Frontier base

Sophia: you mean my husband is.........

Leon: Correct, he is in custody of the Revolutionary Frontier in one of our holding cells

Sophia: I hope you didn't hurt him in any way?

Diethard: No need to worry, all we did is interrogated him and then we placed him onto a cell. Now if you would follow me to the cells, you can speak with him.

Shirley and Sophia followed the two CIA Agents to the holding cells where many are still in POW. Then they took to Joseph's cell. The cell deactivated and everyone entered.

Diethard: Mr. Fenette you ahve some visitors. 

Joseph looks up to see his wife and his daughter. At first, it was an awkward silence then Sophia spoke up.

Sophia: So....um.......how you been?

Joseph: I am good.......

Sophia: Why did you lie to us.......? and why did you decide to keep working for that monster after his death.

Joseph: I did this for the sake of our daughter. I wanted Shirley to have a better life which the life I never had. 

Shirley: And it costed you by killing innocent people and experimenting with them?

Joseph: I know but

Shirley: But what? You are a scientist you shouldn't use your science on doing illegal human experiments you should've worked in a hospital. That would've got you a lot of money, but no you decided to keep working for that cold-blooded Clovis guy. 

Joseph: I know, and I am sorry for lying to you guys, and I am willing to do anything for your forgiveness and respect again. 

Sophia: Honey, i still love you, but your right, you have to earn our forgiveness and trust again if you were to be forgiven again. For the time being I and Shirley can't forgive what you have done. 

Then Diethard came to them and said

Diethard: He is no longer in our custody, you may take him home now. 

Sophia: Thank you.....but anyways here is the deal, we are going to give you a chance to redeem yourself. First things first you are going to stop human experimenting.

Joseph: I will

Leon: I suggest you keep a close eye on him, not only that the government will keep a close eye on him

Sophia: I agree, but yes, I want you to prove that you can be redeemed.

Joseph: I will hun. I will.
