Perfect Day (Jessica Short Story)
Based off of Gabbie Hanna's song Perfect Day
It strangely fits super well with this girl to like wtf bro?
Perfect Day (Jessica Short Story)
It was a perfect day
The suns rays warming Jessica's skin as she thinks back to this moment. A wholesome moment, before anything bad ever happened. Away from the big city lights and honking horns. Away from the cheaters that live there and the bloodshed that would soon join her lifestyle.
Oh how I've missed this.
Such a perfect day.
Just two misfits sharing kisses.
Her smile brighter than the stars or neon signs that sit in the city. The beach she sits on embracing her pale skin as she smiles happily to the man in front of her. His smile leaving her always in a daze. While giving each other loving kisses.
And after all this time you give me butterflies, butterflies.
Months go by and I still get butterflies, butterflies.
Perfect day
What did I do to deserve this?
Sitting on the towel both her and her significant other take a break breathing heavily. A loving embrace exchanged as he whispers in her ear the constant loving statements. His heart and soul poured into these small statements.
Went back to your house
And we couldn't help but hold each other.
Tangled at the mouth
Took a break so I could take a shower.
Washed the sand out of my hair,
From our perfect day spent at the beach.
The cuddles being the best for her as they continued towards the living room. Flopping down on the couch they smile amongst each other. A perfect day between them, a day to remember. Happiness holding each second while she recalls the beach. The beauty, the blissful excitement. Such a perfect day.
Looked into the foggy mirror
Saw a message staring back at me...
Water dancing down her fragile skin. Her heart beating rapidly as she cleaned up for him. His smile, his everything. What was not to love? The few moments Jessica would ever be seen smiling. Overwhelmed with such an amazing experiment. What did she do to deserve this?
I saw "I love you" written in the steam.
And I couldn't help but smile at the sweet message you left me~
But it wasn't in your hand writing.
Then those happy little letters
Were the saddest things I'd ever seen.
Tears began falling as she knew. She knew it was to perfect, her vulnerability taking her over. Her brain clouded by small stupid sayings. Rocking back and forth as she sits in the corner. Her damp blond hair sticking to her back like glue while she continues to quietly sob to herself.
You need to get your conscious clean
But just spare me the details
Please I wanna keep remembering this perfect day.
She cries to him, pointing at the message on the steamed mirror. His lies causing her blood to boil. How could such a perfect day be ruined from blissful ignorance?
"It was nothing please, she means nothing to me!" His voice screams through her brain as she just held her head, tears continuing to fall.
I'm not the type to be left speechless
But I don't think I can deal with this
That's all the closure that you'll give
This perfect day...
"You lied to me all this time!" Jessica grits her teeth powering each word through the sobs. Each time she attempted to leave he stopped her, grabbing her by the wrist begging her to listen as she tries so hard to not look back. Not wanting anything in the world anymore other then to remember this perfect day. Before the incident.
Justifications fail as apologies
I don't wanna cause a scene
Please let me go, I just wanna leave
This perfect day.
"You can't leave me! She means nothing I told you this please!" His words hopeless and meaningless when falling from his lying tongue. Jessica never wanted this, a day away from the city only causing more pain than she had when she originally left it. A time meant to be away from all the heartache and violence only causing her blood to heat and rise with anger.
Oh how could you miss this?
Wish you would've wiped it away.
Let me live in blissful ignorance
And let me have this perfect day
"How can you act like this never happened? Was I that meaningless to you?!" She yells in question at him. Shaking his head he held her by her shoulders staring into her red tearful eyes.
"I never meant for you to find out this way..."
But you left it all in ruins.
We ended on a perfect day.
Jessica smacks away his arms as she storms out running away from him, away from everything. Her cries the only thing people heard until she found a place to sit, a place to think. A place to understand what she really needs to understand.
"Was I not good enough? Was I just a pawn?" Her thoughts roaring at her forcing her to try and calm. Rocking back and forth as she cried until tears could no longer fall.
Really wish I could forgive this...
Her hand touching a cold metal she looks down. An old knife someone threw away from its dullness but it still being sharp enough to cut skin. Her eyes wandered up to see if anyone would see her pick it up only seeing nothing but the streetlight and the dark shadows of the alley as the sun had fallen moments before.
Slipping the knife under her skirt she began walking back to the place it ended. Walking past the beach that started so peaceful, the place that made it such a perfect day. Her walk slow almost zombie like as she keeps her gaze down at the side walk so no one could see the heartbreak.
Cause after all this time you give me butterflies, butterflies.
Why'd you lie?
Don't hurt my butterflies, butterflies.
Watch them die.
You killed my butterflies, butterflies.
Butterflies, ruined my perfect day...
Slipping into the house she hears the giggling in the room she once was happy in. The creaking of bed springs causing more pain to fill her revengeful heart. Pulling the knife from under her skirt she grips its handle tightly as she walks into the room. It's oak door was the only thing concealing the two new lovebirds. The ones who caused her all this pain.
Their screams filling her ears as she ruined those perfect giggles. Constantly beating down each of them until there was no more screaming. Until there was no bed squeaking. Until there was only red covering the room and it's bed sheets.
Gritting her teeth she finally takes a deep breath with a raspy quiet yell releasing her pain. Before to long, she closes the oak door behind her never taking a look back as the crimson dripped from her knife. Her thoughts being all that was left while her heart is broken. Her trust in anyone completely diminished. Her mind completely shattered like a mirror that was just punched.
What did I do to deserve this?
(Author Note:This song relates to me on a spiritual level I'm not gonna lie, and I had to try and make a story with it to try and get these creative juices flowing again. I'm gonna be giving y'all these 2 stories for the time being until I can finish requests that date back to 2016 with a revelations map based story and many many many others. Just be patient, I've fallen out of love with zombies and fallen in a deep pit of "WoW iM sUpEr UgLy" so If details are wrong y'all know why Mk? I haven't touched any Zombies since BO4 came out and even then I did not touch it really... I love y'all very much and I hope you guys enjoy the stories until a massive update hopefully in July~ Thank you for all the support ❤️
