Y/N's P.O.V:

Me and Ernesto were walking around in the plaza, I saw Imelda and Hector hanging out together, it made me smile. Imelda was a good friend, Hector was a good friend too. So it was sort of obvious those two would end up together.

I held Ernesto's hand as we took our little stroll. Ernesto smiled and squeezed it gently, telling me everything was going to be fine.

"Hey Ernesto.." I asked.

"What is it?" He replied.

"D-Do you really think of me as a lover to you?" I shyly stammered.

"What do you mean?" He replied.

I took a deep breath, before saying my words.

"What I mean is.. Do you actually think of me as a lover? Or as.. A friend you don't want to hurt." I replied.

Ernesto was silent for a couple of minutes and just blankly stared at me. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything.

"N-Never mind.. Forget I ever said anything." I trailed off and continued walking.

"Wait! Y/N!" Ernesto called after me.

I slowly turned around.

"I-I.. I'm sorry if I wasn't the best and not spending enough time with you. But really, I love you, I think of you more than a best friend, you're a lover for me, Y/N." Ernesto said calmly and gently.

I walked to him and hugged him, for a minute I could feel Hector and Imelda staring at us.

"I think of you a lot too, Ernesto."
