The Ultimate Test
Ok, here's our next poll. And this one is a very dividing topic in our fandom...
Who was more inaccurate in their remembering of their high school rivalry, Johnny Lawrence or Daniel LaRusso?
Author's Opinion:
This one is actually quite simple for me to answer, they're both wrong.
Okay, from first glance, you can tell that Johnny is stretching the truth as to what he tells Miguel in season because Daniel didn't really steal Ali.
Not only were they already broken up, but with the one he treated her, I don't blame her for wanting a guy like Daniel, instead.
And that was my general train of thought going into the first season, but just like most viewers, my opinion did somewhat change.
Now, I'm not in agreement of the whole "Daniel was the bully" theory some people believe in (which is perfectly fine because we're all allowed to have different opinions), I'm just saying that it opened up more of an understanding for me as to why Johnny acted the way he did and how, in some cases, Daniel was the instigator.
Anyways, I'd love to hear all of your comments on this topic below :)
