Crash My Party

"Sebby, do you think Thad knew what was going on?? That he went telling people that he caught us, well you know..." Sebastian's voice filters in through the open bathroom door as I stand before his sink, brushing and braiding my slightly damp hair. "Well Princess, we weren't really THAT quiet. But when are we ever really? Who cares what they think though? We're both high school graduates now."

I'm biting my lip as I gather up my beauty products and leave his bathroom.  Sebastian's trained eyes are watching me from near his closet where he was trying to gather up and separate all of our discarded clothing.  "So far I've found everything but my tie.  Oh my goodness, Love, you look beautiful.  Absolutely beautiful."  I blush at his comment, mainly because I'm not really wearing anything too special.  Just my black leggings and Sebastian's old Warblers t-shirt that somehow I ended up with, artfully tied up at my waist, so that some of my midriff is exposed because it is far too big for me.

"Bas, you're just saying that, I'm a mess.  I've never been so casually dressed around those guys.  You however look really hot."  He smiles down at me as I come over and straighten out the collar of his mint green polo shirt, "Although, Bastian dear, no popped collars.  They're like so not cool.  Kinda douchey honestly, like Johnny from 'The Karate Kid' or Blane in 'Pretty in Pink'.  Total 80s movie villain."  He frowns down at me, hands landing on my hips as I move mine to near his shoulder blades.  "Really??"  I nod at him, "Yes Seb, really."  He chuckles as he kisses my forehead gently, stepping back to take my hand as I reach for my purse.  "Well then its amazing I ended up with you, Pretty Girl.  That was my old club getup."

Completely unbelievable.

I just shake my head as we leave his room, heading down the hallway to the stairs to the Warbler room.  It is precisely 34 minutes after Thad knocked on the door.  So we underestimated slightly, so what.  But honestly, we could have taken MUCH longer than we did.  The fact that their farewell concert isn't until noon tomorrow means that we can get in more dirty, fun times tonight.  So overall I was okay with it.

"Princess, I still can't believe that it is all done.  No more classes here at Dalton.  I mean I can be here until next weekend, but then I've got to move out.  You're leaving for California and I'm heading to New York.  Are you sure I can't just talk you into just running away?  To France, to Italy..."

We're at the top of the grand staircase, the Warbler room at the bottom, door wide open.  I turn to look at him, he's pouting at me.  Sea green eyes wide, pleading with me.  I sigh softly.  "Bastian, you know we can't do that.  But we're going to have fun spending time together this summer before we have to say goodbye.  I planned on parading around you in very little clothing most of the time, all the while using the heat as my reason."  He smirks at me, pulling my in for a kiss before we head down the stairs.  "And this Shann, this is why I absolutely adore you."

I giggle.

I know Sebastian.

We can already hear a song drifting up the stairs, through the open doors.  Something I'd never would have expected to hear, especially sang by my cousin.

So I pray there's something
She ain't bluffing
Rubbing up on me
Well does she want me to make a vow?
Check it
Well does she want me to make it now?

On my house, on my job
On my loot, shoes, my voice
My crew, my mind
My father's last name

When I get you alone
When I get you you'll know, babe
When I get you alone
When I get you alone

(Ba dum a dum
Ba dum a dum
Ba dum a dum
Dum dum dum
Dum dum dum
Yeah)

When I get you alone
(Ba dum a dum)

"Shann, I thought you said when Blaine was the lead singer they were all buttoned up and formal." I glance quickly to Sebastian as we reach the doorway. Both of us look into the room to see the guys dancing around wildly, Blaine jumping on the furniture. Hunter is standing off to the side, looking almost as confused as we are. I whisper back to him, while the boys are wrapped up in themselves. "I thought they were too. This seems so out of character...."

Weird....

I nod as the singing dies out. Nick starts talking, "Dude, I still can't believe you made us do that 'GAP Attack' performance with you. What was that guys name again?" Blaine laughs, dropping to sit down on the arm chair he was standing on. "That was something wasn't it. I still don't understand what possessed me to do that. But I figured at the time if I ended up with Jeremiah, if I married him, then the GAP would give me a discount."

I'm trying to not giggle at this, Sebastian nudges me in the ribs and I turn to him. He mouths to me wow.... I nod in reply. Jeff chimes in with a new memory, "Ooooohh..... Do you guys remember when we tried out our sex appeal stuff in that song for the Crawford girls??"

Murmurs of agreement ripple through the room. Blaine laughs out loud at that. "Kurt kept making the oddest faces!! And those poor girls, I got so many phone numbers that night. Although they were really upset to hear I didn't quite play for their team." The Warblers beatboxer, I never really learned his name, he comes up and slaps Blaine's hand. "But man, you totally shared the wealth with that. Passing those digits around to every straight guy here."

Sebastian just can't himself as he pulls me through the doorway, calling out in a rather loud voice. "You guys actually NEEDED a lesson on sex appeal? Good thing I transferred when I did, bringing you guys a major dose of my oh so sexy, Parisian self." I'm giggling uncontrollably at that. "Isn't he the absolute cutest when he's so humble like this??"

Everyone's head whip in our direction. Thad looks genuinely pissed as Hunter calls out. "Harwood, I totally called it. I told you she would make him show up. You owe me $50. Pay up now." Thad pouts as he pulls out his wallet, hissing in our direction. "Couldn't you just have like entertained her a little longer, dude? I was hoping to get his money not give him mine."

Hunt?? You bet on that???

He glares somewhat at Sebastian before turning his gaze to me, biting his lip like he is trying to figure out how to talk himself out of the hole he is digging himself into right now. "Well Angel, I was being willfully optimistic. I didn't want to think of Smythe violating you. Not when I'd rather think me with you instead."

"In your dreams Clarington. No matter what you do, she's still my fiancée."

Hunter scoffs in response, beginning to cross the room towards us. "Nightly. And you keep telling yourself that Smythe. But just you wait until I'm sharing that cozy little bungalow at the beach with her. And then we'll see who belongs to who."

I pull my hand out of Sebastian's, looking incredulously between both him and Hunter. "Boys, I thought we discussed this? In great detail and numerous times." I shake my head as I move to a love seat where Trent is sitting, he is waving me over with a small smile on his face.

"I'm sorry Princess." Sebastian sounds very pouty, coming back to gently grab my hand. Placing a soft kiss on it before he slips into the seat beside Trent, pulling me to rest on his lap. Arms winding securely around my waist.

Hunter is staring, open mouthed at us from across the room. Really?! I sigh, "Jay, come on. Don't be like this." He huffs, sulking over to sit in an open arm chair. "Fine. But only because its you Shay. I could never say no to you. California can't come soon enough though..."

I recline against Sebastian's chest as the conversations flit around us. At some point, Blaine passes us each plates with pizza on them, my cousin remembering to get me one with just mushrooms and cheese. I give him a smile as he goes to sit on the floor not that far away from us. Where he easily falls into a conversation with Wes, Blaine was always his protégé.

I'm nibbling on my pizza when Trent taps me on the arm. Setting back down my slice on the plate I am holding, I dab my lips with a napkin before I turn to him. "What's up T?" He smiles, looking really giddy. "Shannon, I absolutely adore that nickname, I hope you realize it. But I wanted to let you know that you and Hunter aren't the only ones heading to California."

I cock my head to the side, "What?" My movement attracts Sebastian's attention. He stops in the middle of a conversation with Nick and Jeff to talk to me. "Love, what's wrong?"

I'm not sure...

I direct my questioning back to Trent, Sebastian listening in eagerly. "Trent, darling, what do you mean that we aren't the only ones going to California?"

He glances around quickly, blush already forming on his cheeks, then he lowers his voice so only Sebastian and I can hear him.

"I'm coming to Los Angeles too. I got into USC."
