"Now are you sure that you have everything packed up, Love Bug??  I feel like you just got here and now you're leaving again..."

Blaine and Sebastian are seated on the couch in the living room as my aunt fusses over me.  They just got done putting everything I was taking with me in my car.

"Aunt Pammy, I'm certain.  If I forgot anything you can just call it an excuse to come and visit me at the beach."

She smiles some at that, but still it doesn't stop her from showering my hair with kisses again.  All I really catch are snippets of her murmurs.

We'll miss you.  Take care Shanny.  Call me if you need anything.

I hug her one more time before she lets me ago and flees back into the kitchen.  When I turn to face the two boys again they are both on their feet.  Blaine holds a paper bag in his hands.  He blushes when I raise a silent eyebrow at him in question.

"Homemade cookies.  They're not as good as yours but mom and I wanted to send you off with something homemade.  That is if you can keep Bas here from eating them before you cross the Ohio state line."

Sebastian scoffs and pushes Blaine's shoulder.  "Hey! She's probably going to be the one to eat them all.  I'm going to be the one driving at least for the first leg or so, right Princess?"

I nod and snatch the bag out of Blaine's hands.  I trust Sebastian with my car, and I'd rather not start driving until we're out of major city traffic.

"Are you sure that's a good thing to do Shann?"

I pause from looking through the bag, taking inventory of the cookie types to look back up at Blaine.  "Why wouldn't it be a good idea Blainey?  I've let Bastian drive my car before.  MapQuest said the whole trip, if we drive non stop will be like 34 hours.  So naturally we're switching off.  Well and I have planned stops and hotel reservations already set up along the way.  We'll be fine."

Sebastian comes over to grab my hand and begins to lead me towards the door. "Don't worry Anderson, your cousin is in good hands with me. I haven't done anything horribly stupid to her yet, so I think you're safe."

Sebastian's completely right.

He hasn't done anything horribly stupid.

I have.

I've screwed up all of our lives by getting mixed up with Hunter, getting drawn down the rabbit hole of long lost love.

And now I'm gearing up for what could end up being the most awkward road trip of my life.

Of having my fiancé drive me across the country just so I can leave him to go to college with the boy I cheated on him with.

The boy I shared my first kiss with 7 almost 8 years ago.

My life right?

I hug my cousin one last time before I slip into the car. And he leaves me with his parting words.

I'll miss you so much Belle...

I nod as Sebastian holds my door open for me.  Sliding into my car seat, murmuring back to Blaine in response.

I'll miss you too Aladdin.  I'll call from our first stop.  I promise.

Blaine nods, backing away as Sebastian shuts the door letting me get settled into my seat.  I can see the tears in his eyes as he starts to back away after allowing Seb to hug him.  And I have to turn away from the window before I lose it myself.   I'm fiddling with my phone, hooking it up to the radio when Sebastian finally eases into the drivers seat.

He looks at me with a small smile, gently reaching out to wipe away unshed tears.  His voice is so sweet, full of love.

"Here we go Princess.  Off to our next adventure...."

The music playing and the hum of the engine lulls me off to sleep.  And my weary eyes start to flutter open to the mournful sounds of Sebastian's singing voice. 

I don't think he realizes I'm even awake at this point so I listen silently as he sings. And my heart breaks just a little more.
