And there we start a new week, a new book for each of us, and a new adventure!

To make it easier for you to remember the rules, I'll re-post them in short every week before announcing pairs. I've edited some of the rules to make it easier. Please make sure you read them before starting your assignment.

1. Every Monday, you get paired with a random partner.

2. You read 1-5 chapters of your partner's book; whatever you both agree on. Do not start your assignment before contacting your partner.

3. Comment on each chapter you read, whether one line comment or 3+, it has to be constructive and polite. No mean or fake comments are accepted.

▪️ Points:

1. For each chapter you read, you get a point, so the more chapters you read of each book, the more points you receive.

2. Finish your assignment first, and get an extra point!

3. Every week, we'll feature a Book of The Week, whose author got the highest points. You're required to read and give feedback on at least one chapter of Book of The Week. If you get featured, your score is reset to zero and you start over.

4. Please use the hashtag #CCBC in all your comments.

▪️ Assignment Completion:

1. Weekly assignments are due before Monday. When you're done, please comment under the corresponding week, mentioning your pair number and under the BOTW chapter too mention that you've read and commented on it.

(eg: pair #1 done) (BOTW: done.)

2. When you comment that you've finished your assignment or BOTW, please mention how many chapters you've read. If you don't mention it, I might forget to count your score.

3. Also, if you forget to comment that you've finished your assignment, I too might forget to count your score as the club grows bigger.

4. If you miss the deadline, you lose 3 points.

5. If you miss the deadline 2 times in a raw, you automatically get disregarded as a member.

6. Every month, I will reevaluate. If your score is less than 3 points (this means you read less than 3 chapters or missed your deadline more than once), you might get disregarded as a member.
