▪️ Club Admins:

This club is run by myself (Sara91Helal) and SomeGamerGirl, you need to follow us so you can catch up with any announcements.

▪️ Pairs:

1. We currently have 11 pairs of writers.

2. Every Tuesday, you get paired with a random partner, I use a random group generator.

3. Comment with the hashtag #CCBC on each chapter you read, it has to be constructive and polite. No mean or fake comments are accepted.

    • If the book has total number of chapters >10: you can read as many chapters as you want.

    • If the book has total number of chapters <10: you can read 1-5 chapters only.

4. You may comment on each chapter as many times as you want, but at least one comment per chapter with the #CCBC hashtag and within the context of the Theme of The Week (read about that below).

5. Theme of The Week:

Every week I'll specify an element to give feedback on, that way, feedback gets more constructive and if you get paired with a member more than once, you can comment on different things in the same chapter. (For example: comment on the pace of the chapter).

6. Readers only: users who have no published stories will get randomly paired to a group of two. They will abide by the same rules, except they get no points because they have no stories.  

7. Backup Books:

If you wish, you can provide an extra book to be added to this list, there's a separate chapter for that, comment underneath it with your Backup Book. That way, if your partner has a problem with your current book or has already read it, they can comment on your "backup book".

▪️ Points:

1. For each chapter you read, you get a point, so the more chapters you read of each book, the more points you receive.

2. Finish your assignment first, and get an extra point!

3. If you don't complete your assignment before Tuesday, you lose 3 points.  

4. Every week, we'll feature a Book of The Week, whose author got the highest points.

5. You're required to read and give feedback on at least one chapter of Book of The Week, (also according to the rules above).

6. Please use the hashtag #CCBC in all your comments.

7. Your score will be reset to zero after you get featured to allow fair opportunity for others.

▪️ Assignment Completion: 

  1. Weekly assignments are due before Tuesday 10 am (Cairo's timezone: GMT +2). When you're done, please comment under the corresponding week, mentioning your pair number and how many chapters you commented on, same under the BOTW.  

(eg: pair #1 done, read X chapters) (BOTW: done, read X chapters).  

2. If you forget to comment that you've finished your assignment, I too might forget to count your score as the club grows bigger.

3. If you miss the deadline 2 times in a raw, you automatically get disregarded as a member.

4. Every month, I will reevaluate. If your score is less than 3 points (this means you read less than 3 chapters or missed your deadline more than once), you might get disregarded as a member.

▪️ Extensions and Breaks: 

1. You can get an extension up to a week, you won't lose any points, but you won't get points that week.

2. If you need a break, just contact me before the next assignment. Please mention your favourite song in the form, so I know you read the rules.

We start as soon as we complete at least 6 members.
