Based on the previous survey and on your interactions in this club, and in order to make things smoother, more fun, and most importantly fair enough, here are some major changes to the club rules.

1. You don't have to contact your partner before starting your assignment anymore. You get paired, you read. That's it.

2. Regarding the number of chapters you have to read, like SpinyKyverna suggested, it will depend on the total number of chapters. This also applies to BOTW. So, it will go as follows:

  • If the book has total number of chapters >10: you can read as many chapters as you want.

  • If the book has total number of chapters <10: you can read 1-5 chapters only.

3. Your comments should be constructive and polite. You may comment on each chapter as many times as you want, but at least one comment per chapter with the #CCBC hashtag and within the context of the Theme of The Week (read about that below).

4. Readers only: users who have no published stories will get randomly paired to a group of two. They will abide by the same rules, except they get no points because they have no stories.  

5. Theme of The Week:

Like Somegamergirl suggested, starting week 4, every week I'll specify an element to give feedback on, that way, feedback gets more constructive and if you get paired with a member more than once, you can comment on different things in the same chapter. (For example: comment on the pace of the chapter).

6. Backup Books:

If you wish, you can provide an extra book to be added to this list, I'll create a separate chapter for that. So if your partner has a problem with your  current book or has already read it, they can comment on you "backup book".
