You nestle into his side, happily relishing in his warmth. Corasan on the other hand didn't dare move in fear of waking you. He was glad you were sleeping well, but he wondered why your gloves were still on. You mutter something in your sleep, making him stiffen a bit. He peers at your face again, seeing you smile a bit as your arm wraps around his torso. He smiles, saying he was happy right now would be a major understatement.
He shifts, waking you in an instant you sit up swiftly. You blink in a dazed confusion, wondering what had woken you. Your eyes glide over to Corasan who scribbled swiftly in his notepad. 'Didn't mean to wake you,' It reads. You blink at it a few times before tussling his hair and getting out of bed. You stretch a bit, feeling a cat smile curl your lips. "It's fine, we need to reach that island by tonight anyway," You yawn, tossing him a smile. 'You know where he is?' He inquires on his notepad.
"No, but I know someone in that town that will help me out," You reply, rubbing your neck and tossing him a sleepy smile. He tilts his head with a slight smile. You pause, 'Cute,' you think and turn away. "Anyways... Are you hungry? Ima start breakfast," You say before heading out to the kitchen. He sits down, watching curiously as you start to cheerfully hum to fill in the silence. You hear him scribbling in his notebook and look over you're shoulder at him.
'You're in a good mood.' It reads. "Yeah, well.... I slept well last night," You admit with a smile before turning back to the stove. You finish making breakfast and bring it over to him. The meal is swiftly finished and you quickly clean the dishes. Corasan leans his notepad into your field of vision. 'You're a great cook,' It read. You blink and smile with a slight blush. "I... Um... Thanks Cora!" You chuckle sheepishly before looking away.
In the corner of your eye you catch him smile. You finish doing the dishes and head out to the deck, stretching in the sunlight. "Even the weather is nice today," You comment. You throw him another smile. "So, we have about another day to go... What do you want to do?" You ask him. He thinks a bit, but shrugs. You purse your lips, trying to think of something. I look over at Corasan and smile mischievously. He seems to notice and shifts uneasily. You walk up to him take off his cap. You hop back, putting it on. "Catch me if you can Cora~" You chime.
He pauses in surprise before reaching for his cap. You calmly step out of the way. "Too slow!" You tease, poking him in the side before pivoting away. A slight smile comes to his lips. He carefully comes after you, in a speed you we're surprised by. You stagger back, leaning out of his reach. He suddenly trips, crashing into you. You hit the wall, coming nose to nose with Corasan. He freezes and you both blush heavily. A chuckle escapes you and his eyes widen a bit.
"Okay, maybe that was not the best idea," You huff, putting his cap back on him. You tug on strings, making it cover his eyes then kissing the tip of his nose before slipping past him. "Lets play hide and seek instead, start counting~" You chuckle, heading for the kitchen. "Count to thirty," You add before going into the kitchen. You swiftly find an empty barrel to hide in. You put the lid on and hug your knees. 'I wonder if he's any good at hide and seek...' You wonder.
A few moments later light comes into the barrel, making you look up to see Corasan smile a bit. You get up, "How'd you- You're good Cora," You comment, looking at him suspiciously. He shifts under your gaze. "Too good." You add. He offers a shrug and slight smile before picking you up out of the barrel and setting you back down. You were still eyeing him as he straightens up, making him write 'My turn,' in his notepad. "Alright," You huff.
You go out and start counting. When you finish you begin your search. You check the cabinets, then the barrels, and your room. You check under your and in your closet. "Holy shit... He's really good at this..." You mutter, turning to leave your room. You head out, checking every room, growing uneasy when you don't find him. 'What if he fell off the ship?' You wonder. You hurry out onto the deck, looking around swiftly. You climb up the mast and peer into the crow's nest. Finding it empty, you grab your spyglass and swiftly scan the waters.
Still not finding him, you jump down onto the deck. "Cora? You win, please come out," You call, hoping he was still on the ship. He didn't come out onto the deck. You open your mouth to call again when someone taps your shoulder. You spin around to see Corasan who was smiling a bit. "Thank goodness," You breath, hugging him. "You're too good at hiding, lets do something else," You tell him, stepping away again.
He blinks at you in surprise. 'You were worried?' He writes. You shift, "Kinda... I thought you fell off the ship..." You admit. He tilts his head to the side, lifting an eyebrow. You blush a bit, "What? You fell off a cliff before! I.... You worry me sometimes," You mutter, rubbing your neck and avoiding his gaze. He puts a knuckle to his chin, eyes narrowed slightly. His eyes glint with a sudden idea and he heads for your room. You follow him curiously.
He points at the guitar you had in the corner. "Oh... You want me to play that?" You huff. 'Can you?' He writes. You pick it up, adjusting the strings. "Alright, but only because you asked," You say, leading him to the deck. You sit on the railing, beginning to play your favorite song. Corasan sits down, closing his eyes for a moment, listening to you play. The reason you rarely played the guitar was because it made you think of your old home, your family. The song turns sad and you have to stop playing.
You get up and go over to sit across from Corasan. "Sorry, that usually happens when I start to play... Do you want to try?" You ask, holding up the guitar. He carefully takes it, seeming a bit lost. With a slight chuckle, you move to his side. "Here, I'll help you," You murmur, putting your fingers over his. You steadily start to show him the chords humming along as it forms into a sweet song. A lot of time passes as you teach him. When you were sure he knew how to play you move your hands away, leaning against Corasan as he continues playing.
"You learn fast Cora," You murmur, resting your head on his shoulder. He misses a string, looking over at you in slight surprise. Your eyes droop, and you begin to fall asleep. Corasan stops playing, carefully setting the guitar down before picking you up and you carrying you to your room. "Hm?" You hum when he sets you down. He pulls the blankets up over you and steps back scribbling in his notebook. 'Get some sleep,' He tells you. You blink tiredly at the note, "You too Cora," You yawn.
He pauses and gingerly crawls into bed next to you as you move over. His hand slips as he crawls in and he somehow ends up sprawled over you. You giggle as he gets up hastily, drawing his embarrassed gaze over to you. "Hehe, you're so cute," You chuckle. Red hints his cheeks and his eyes dart to the side as he moves to lay down beside you. You shift to face him. "I like sailing with you, you're a lot of fun," You murmur. 'Same,' He writes then yawns. "Sleep well Cora," You yawn, touching his cheek briefly before rolling over and falling asleep.
