To my surprise, no movies were played. Which made the trip even more boring because I fell asleep at 4:00 am but around 7:00 am we hit a speed bump and immediately awakened for I thought there was an emergency. I haven't been able to fall asleep since so the whole ride has been very boring. I see in my backpack I have some scratch paper and a pencil. I take out my binder and start drawing the orphanage. I draw McKenzie struggling in her chains, April, Jessica, Bree, Emma, Penny, Matt, Brian with the lab explosion, Natalie...I'll never see her again. She was like my only friend. And she was mad at me. I continue drawing. Ms. Ruth, Ms. Julia, Harper...Her dad said he was coming to get her but he hasn't come and I left her to wait and I said I would be back even though I wasn't planning on going back. A tear falls on 2D Harper's skirt. My watch says 3:23 and then it says 9:26 and then 12:00. 12:00 keeps flashing and I realize my watch is broken. I squint and the bus drivers watch. 9:26. When we get off, in going to buy a new watch. I take out my locket and smile. I was a baby in a small pink dress. I remove the picture from the left side of the locket so I can see the photo more clearly. When I do there is another photo underneath the baby picture. It's my mom and my dad smiling brightly. I put the baby occurs on the other side of the locket so I can see both photos. My mother has long, wavy, chestnut colored hair and emerald green eyes complimenting her perfect smile. My father is standing next to my mother. He is slightly taller than she is. He has dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. He is smiling like my mother and they are holding hands. Now I know. I look just like my mother with my father's eyes. I smile at seeing them and my eyes start filling up with tears. I miss them. They look like loving, caring parents. So why did I end up in an orphanage. I try to push the thought from my mind but I can't escape it. Why am I here? I could be with them right now but instead I'm searching for them; to get answers. I hear the bus driver stop and we all get off. I walk only a few steps before seeing a watch repair shop. I don't need a new one if they can fix this one. I walk in the store and give a lady my watch. She smiles and says,"it will be ready in 15 minutes." I smile and wait in one of the seats. Out the watch store's window I see a map with several cities from Georgia. After Roswell I need to go to Buford. Then to Gainesville. Then to Cleveland; it looks like a really long drive. Then to Helen, my destination. My birthday is in two days on Thursday and I want to be in Helen by my birthday. The lady at the front desk rings a bell and I collect my watch. Good as new. I give her the money and look at the bus schedule. I need to find one that takes me to Buford. At 1:45 Speed Bus goes to Buford. Perfect! Right now it's 1:00. I decide to get some lunch. I walk down the street, shops are all along it. Across the street I see a McDonalds. I've never been but I hear they have the best food. I carefully cross the street to McDonalds. I see there is a long wait but I stay in line anyway. When it's finally my turn I order 2 chicken sandwiches. I need fuel for the road. I sit down at a table and start eating my sandwiches. They are really good. I throw out the boxes and grab my stuff and leave. When I arrive at the bus stop, the bus is already there. I quickly hop on and to my luck, the front seat is available. This bus has TV screens on the back of the seat in front of you but mine is on a box. I watch some Disney movies; those are always fun to watch. I have to go bus after bus if I want to be in Helen by Thursday. I select the Disney movie Maleficent. It looks like a good movie. I start the movie and watch it in silence.
