Hailey moves and kicked him in the back of the leg and yells

The next thing I know I am being let go and falling backwards again
Bracing for the fall that never comes I land in someone's arms hard I hear them grunt
I try to squirm out of their arms but they just tighten them
" Easy Riley it's me Rick"
I stopped squirming and let him hold me up then he bent down scooped me up into his arms I laid my head on his shoulder
He carried me down the hallway and into a room kicking the door open

" What the hell Rick " a voice yelled
Rick didn't answer he just carried Riley over to the couch , He tried to put her down on it but Riley had ahold of his shirt in a death grip

"Riley baby girl easy it's okay let go of my shirt so I can put you down and check your cheek " Rick said softly

I let go of his shirt slowly and Rick stepped away from me
I looked up to see Rick he was standing there with a half smile on his face until he saw my face

" Look I needed to get Riley here out of the main room and this is one of the most private rooms on this floor so I brought her here so live with it " Rick Growled
" Well Ill tell Logan and he will set your ass straight " the voice yelled as it left the room slamming the door shut

The door was slammed open again causing me to jump
I looked at who was coming in there stood two men that looked Mad as hell their eyes landed on me looking me over then their eyes landed on my cheek

" Who hit you Kitten"
" Liam Garrett" Rick answered as he came over to Riley

" Let me clean it up , It might sting a little " Rick said

He worked on cleaning up my cheek
" She's going to need Stitches , a few his ring split the cheek open it's not going to close on its own " Rick said

" No I don't want .... "
" Shhh Kitten it will be okay , Sal call Doc have him meet us upstairs in an hour " Logan said
" I will and then I am going to make sure Hailey is Okay and Taken care off I'll be back in a few" Sal said
Sal turned to leave then stopped spun on his heels headed over to Riley and Leaned down Kissed her forehead

" Thank you for Getting to Her " Sal said as he walked out the door

" Anytime Sal" Rick Said

Rick finished cleaning up the cut he put a small bandage on it for now to keep the blood from dripping down her face and to keep it clean until Doc could get here.
Rick began to clean up his mess

All of the emotions of the past 24 came at Riley like a Mack truck she broke down and cried

" Oh Kitten it's okay " Logan said as he scooped her up off the couch then sat back down with her in his lap , She curled up into his lap

" Here " Rick Said as he gave Logan a Blanket to cover up Riley

Logan held Riley as she cried herself asleep in his arms , He knew she had fallen asleep when her sniffles and little hiccups had drifted off and her light soft breathing was going across his neck .

Riley had buried her head into Logan's neck as he held her for some reason she felt so safe with him to the point where she knew she was falling asleep in his arms after crying so much

It will be fine to nap for a few minutes Riley said to herself as she closed her eyes
