Bonus: Dream Come True

Waking up in cold sweat, his breathing ragged and shivers running through his body, Koro found himself dizzy and wholly lost. In his hurry, he failed to analyze where he was, rooky mistake, and merely blanked out to think about nothing, his pair of glassy violet eyes staring into nothingness.

"Mmm," the nasal and muffled sound that came from Koro's left went unheard.

There seemed to be a cold breeze, provoking goosebumps to litter Koro's skin as he began to rub his bare arms with his hands. Wait— "as he began to rub his bare arms with his hands."

Why were his arms bare?

Reality seemed to come back to Koro at once. He did not understand. Why was the upper half of his body naked? He didn't sleep nude, always in a long-sleeved silk top and silk bottom pajamas.

Something on his left moved, and Koro stiffened.

Oh my God, was that an evil spirit coming after him?

Arms snaked around his waist, tightly wrapping around him ad Koro continued to grow stiffer and more unnerved by the seconds. He felt hair tickle at his bare waist, provoking another wave of goosebumps as shivers washed over him for the nth time.

"Sleep," the low baritone voice drowned, expertly pulling on his body to make him fall back on the bed— why was he on a bed? Shouldn't he be working or something? Was this another effect of paperwork overdose?

Koro could feel that the body spooning him was somewhat bigger than his, but there wasn't much height difference. He tried to move, slightly squirming in the other's grip to have a better look at the one holding him down.

"Don't move," the voice growled, the hot breathing hitting his neck in tantalizing waves, making his whole body feel numb and letting sparks run along his spine. Koro felt his cheeks flushing over for reasons unknown to himself, and his body stopped moving to comply.

There was a deep chuckle that came from behind him, followed by another squeeze around his waist, lighter and more affectionate than the previous one. It was almost indulging and dotting, but Koro wouldn't know. He didn't have any lover spooning him before.

"Good boy," the voice, definitely male by the way, praised. Koro felt a rough thumb begin to rub circles against his hips, the motion soothing him, and as his eyes grew heavier, sleep overtaking him, Koro barely made out the black that seemed to be the man's hair.

Morpheus embraced him, the unknown man peppering the crook of his neck with delicate butterfly kisses, a low chuckle following them like a light breeze to carry them forward.

::

Koro woke up with a start. His hand automatically went to reach for the left side of his neck. He felt like the person's warmth remained somehow, which made his body surge with mixed feelings.

He wasn't grossed out, just disturbed.

Highly disturbed and a bit regretful, maybe.

He looked around, noting that he was in a library, probably one in the Varia headquarter, he supposed. He sat on one of the quilted chairs. On his lap was a book. Did he fall asleep while reading a book? Okay, it seemed perfectly possible to him. Koro was not startled.

He took in a deep breath, a relieved smile overtaking his features. Damn, this was one weird dream, alright! He leaned into the quilted chair, closing his eyes and humming to himself, satisfied and ready to forget all about his bizarre dream before going for another nap. Going back to his room to sleep now left him unsettled. Koro refused for some reason.

He kept his eyes closed, resting his sight as he made himself comfortable.

One, two minutes.

The door to the library creaked open, allowing, who Koro thought to be, another member of the Varia executive to come in. After all, Koro hadn't ordered any drinks or snacks, so no butler or attendant was there.

He heard footsteps, light steps coming closer to his seat, and soon a silhouette stood over him, blocking the artificial lighting from hitting his face.

Eyes still closed, Koro furrowed his brows, the change in light evident through his closed eyelids. He was about to crack an eye open when a large hand went to cover his sight. The palm and hand texture felt rough to the touch, most probably from the use of weapons.

Koro would have assumed the person to be Bel, but Bel was the only member shorter than him. Koro knew the blond's height well. There was no way for him to create shade with his body. Maybe it was—

"Guess who?" the voice whispered with a lilt. Koro could guess that whoever it was, they modified their voice because although it sounded familiar, it was nothing he heard daily.

He did not blink, feeling his lashes brush against the palm as he merely narrowed his closed eyes. "Luss?" he guessed with a sigh, raising a hand to push the one that covered his sight.

"No."

The curt denial made Koro pause in his motion. "Oh?" he articulated, unsure because, within the Varia, no one but Bel, Luss, and perhaps himself did this kind of silly prank. "Then Bel?" he muttered, disbelief coating his voice.

There was a sigh. Koro felt the quilted chair dip in the front as the person put their knee on it probably. Weight was added to his shoulder, allowing silky hair to brush against him and tickle at his face—

It reminded Koro of his dream just before, and he started to feel uncomfortable. "Uh, then Ran-chan?" he tried in a moment of desperation. "Or—"

Lips crashed against his, blocking his next guess as if to stop the carnage. Koro was about to trash around, but just like before, he felt his strength leave his body as he began to move in sync with the unknown person, their lips dancing in a tantalizingly breathtaking tango. When they parted, leaving him somewhat breathless, teeth gently nipped at his lower lip, careful not to tear the fragile skin before a soft and wet muscle went to lick away the saliva that trailed along his chin.

Koro felt dizzy. His whole world was tilting and crashing without a doubt. He didn't know what to think of it.

The figure leaned down, or so the additional weight on the quilted chair indicated, and Koro felt a heated breath fan his reddened ear. "Still angry?" the voice practically moaned at this point before gently nibbling on his earlobe and giving the shell of his ear a long sensual lick.

Koro shakily exhaled. What the fuck.

Did something happen during his nap that he wasn't aware of?

The other party stoped, gently laying a chaste kiss on Koro's lips as if to make up for the uninvited French kiss before.

"Haaa, you're so moody," the voice said before gently whispering his name and pulling their hand away.

Koro, the shade finally off his eyes, allowed his gaze to meet with a glaring light. The artificial lighting of the training grounds, to be precise.

Was he still dreaming, or was he finally awake? That was the question.

As he contemplated the meaning of his life and whether he was still stuck in this weird world where he had a lover or lovers who knew really, Koro began to sit up. He dusted at his pants, noting that he wore his Varia attire, all black, and some blunt weapons in place of his usual.

So far, so good.

Now to check with the people here—

"Voii, stop daydreaming, tiny trash!" Squalo's voice cut through, a clean horizontal slice of the swordsman's sword aiming at the whitehead's body.

Koro's purple eyes widened for a fraction as he allowed his body to dive down to dodge before he pulled out the blunt daggers from his sleeves to parry the strike about to fall on him.

"Voi, still got some energy?"

Koro's lips stretched into a relieved grin as he pushed the blade back with his daggers before juggling with one. He never felt so relieved to see Squalo before.

"Nyurufufu, damn right," he agreed with a firm nod. "I'd totally kiss you if we weren't sparing, Squalo," he joked before going back on the offense. His feet felt lighter, as did his whole body, like a surge of adrenaline going through his veins, yet his hits were unusually weak, he thought.

Squalo barked a laugh. "That so, Yucca," he grinned before countering another strike and going on a much more violent offensive. Knocking the whitehead off his feet and forcing him to take up the defense after executing a backflip, the swordsman smirked. "Voii, let's make this quick then!"

Koro had never seen Squalo so pumped up during a spar before, and he had never felt so sluggish either during such a critical exchange. He began to frown, observing as he lost ground and as Squalo's grin deepened.

With one clean hit, Squalo forced the daggers out of Koro's hands. The Cloud Guardian replied by going for a hand-to-hand offensive only to feel a wave of Rain flame wash over him before Squalo took advantage of this lapse in foresight to tackle him to the ground.

With Squalo now straddling him, his long silver hair draping over both of them like a curtain, Koro could only observe.

"Fufu, Good spar, Squalo," Koro admitted, raising himself as he brought a hand to push the Rain Guardian off. Squalo did not move, merely gripping his wrist with his only hand before bringing it to his lips and laying a small reverent kiss in the palm of his hand, unconcerned it seemed by hygiene, but that was not the problem here.

Koro's brain was overheating from the information.

Why.

Just— Why?

He thought back on where he could have possibly fucked up, on today's date, maybe it was April fool, who knew at this point?

"That so, Yucca."

Ah, Squalo never calls him by his name.

"Voii, where's my kiss?" the silver head called out in a whisper yell as he gripped his hand tighter. "Don't ignore me, Yucca, you small shitty trash," he muttered, his lips pursing into a pout.

There was something very wrong with Squalo's expression. It was very out of character, Koro felt.

Squalo observed Koro's silence, his brows knitting together. "You never take the initiative, tiny trash," he mumbled, resting his forehead against Koro's as he laid one quick peck on the Cloud's lips. "It's always us taking the first step. Do it or I'll kill you," he threatened in an inoffensive whisper.

The door to the training grounds slammed open, Squalo not moving from his position and Koro trying to process what he just heard.

Us?

Nani?

It really was lovers with an 's' and not in singular form?

From the footsteps he could make out, two people were coming up to them. The ones from the dream? He dumbly thought, somewhat afraid of confirming his suspicions regarding their identities.

"Oi, trash, move," the first voice, rough and somewhat similar to the one from his first dream, called out before grabbing Squalo's collar.

"Ah, so vulgar, as always," the second voice said, with veiled contempt and amusement before placing their hands under Koro's armpits to help him stand up.

Before Yucca could take in any of their faces, he awoke.

::

"Oh my God, that was so weird," he panted out in uneven breaths. Dino, with whom he was working on a project between both Vongola and Cavallone, gave him a strange look.

"What was?" the young Don asked with a tilt of his head as he took this opportunity to look up from his files. Paperwork could always wait, probably.

Koro slid his eyes to look at him, his purple orbs narrowing in slight distrust before he stood up. With a confident gait, he went up to the male's desk, forcing the blond not to take his eyes off of him. The Cloud placed both of his hands on the sleek surface of the varnished wood, leaning his body down so he'd be at eye level with the man.

"Say, Dino," he called out.

Dino trembled, feeling somewhat threatened by the look in Koro's eyes. He swallowed thickly, throat running dry.

"If I told you, 'Oh, I'd totally kiss you if there were no paperwork!' how would you react?"

Dino had to choke on his spit as he forced his face to turn away last second before he coughed on the Varia member. "I— what type of question is that?" the blond screeched, red creeping up his face as a crimson blush settled on his face.

Koro ignored it. "So?" he urged instead, feeling impatient.

"I-I don't know!" the Don cried. "I mean, I need to finish my paperwork, but I don't wanna kiss you!" he whined.

Koro smiled, patting the male's head and making him stiffen under his touch. "Good," he confirmed before going back to his work.

Koro would not admit it, but there were a few males that he couldn't bring himself to look at the following weeks.

Heya, it's been a while! I'm just dropping by to tell you guys that the sequel CLOUDLESS is up, so I thought, why not make a bonus chapter while I'm at it!
