Hii, I'm here again.

This is my appreciation for COG. We've come so far, I can't even believe.

COG is the only book I've ever written from start to finish on Wattpad without it being unpublished several times. I didn't think I'd ever get this much love and support for this book. Any time I go back to read my first chapters, it's usually a cringe session for me. Lmao. And I'd ask myself what actually made people come this far in the book.

When I first published it, it took a good while to hit 100 reads and I was almost discouraged. I then joined a platform, probably the biggest Nigerian Wattpad community, Wattnaija. I am using this medium to thank them a lot.

And I'll be answering some possible questions you may want to ask.

How did I come up with COG?

Ngl, COG was a random story idea. It isn't based off a true story of the sorts or true events. But I created this as an attempt to honor my school mother. I never imagined COG would come this big. I think I've explained the title of the book too and how it's related to her.

Why is there an #3 on the title of this book?

Clouds of Grey is the 3rd book in the Crestview High Series. The first book in this series was published way before COG. That was the first Nigerian book I had ever written, as I mostly wrote foreign stories. If you can remember characters like the Head girl, Chizaram Igwe and her boyfriend, Solomon, the Head boy, Alexander and the popular model, Oyindamola Faleye aforementioned in this book, they were the major characters of the book. The title was Our Last Imperfect Days, short for OLID.

The second book, book #2 was titled Serenity of the Soul Stars (SOTSS). And this one was based on our very own Amir + the Amyra Abdelnour (yes, Ibrahim's sister), and also Inaya. But incase you think it's a love story for Amir & Inaya, no.

Will there be a book 2 for COG?

Most definitely not. I never planned a sequel for COG. Okay maybe I did. But it was all thoughts. All I did was think of what their life would be, college life and all of that. I never wrote anything out on paper.

Do I have any upcoming projects?

Yes. 2 infact. And they're both Nigerian.

The first one is the one I intended on publishing after COG from the start; Liberosis. This is a book that centers majorly around academical hierarchy. I won't be releasing a blurb till next year.

The second book however, is titled A Weak Hero. This is a book that I came up with to create mental awareness. Both Liberosis and AWH are dark books, so I'm excited to publish both. I would have loved to drop the storyline here, but I don't want to do that till I'm actually sure of publishing.

Anyway, I'm saying thank you again for supporting Clouds of Grey. I gained so many reads towards the ending of this book. The comments, the votes, and the rankings. The reviews I got from several people made me tear up. I starred a lot of them on my WhatsApp with the intent of posting them on here, but all of my chats got cleared.

Thank you guys, so much!🫶🏾 Words aren't enough to truly express how grateful I am for COG. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made and I'm so sad to see this book come to an end.

I'll be editing COG from the scratch whenever I'm free (this book needs a lot of editing, i can't lie).
