Everything was wrong.

Everything, from the demolished houses and rogue Angel's to the poisoned food and stale air was just wrong.

She had long ago given up on trying to get rid of Lucifer. He was like a pest, except he just wouldn't die, no matter how many times she squashed him.

Her feet hurt for walking so long, but there was no way she was going to show weakness in front of Lucifer. She'd die first. But the scary thing was, in this place, that was actually possible. In fact, there was a very high chance of that happening.

She clutched her blade tightly, following close behind him. Nit for the first time, she thought about running away. But she knew it wouldn't work. She had tried too many times to still doubt it.

Finally, it got too much. She stopped walking and leaned against a rock, breathing hard. Lucifer stopped instantly and turned to her, a look of annoyance on his face.

"Look, Mary, we dont have all day. Either you suck it up and start walking or we stay here and risk you dying."

Mary didn't move. "Go on without me if you like, but I'm not getting up front here." She muttered, throat parched. Oh what she would do for a glass of water. Or even a protein shake. Mary hated them, but Sam was obsessed. Now she found that her stomach turned at the thought, but for a different reason.

"Okay, that's it." Lucifer grabbed her arm, ready to drag her forwards. "We have to get mov-"

The ground shook with the force of a crater, and Lucifer stopped. "This is what I've been trying to avoid." Hs muttered under his breath. Dust flew into the air and boulders shook and unhinged from their places.

Then suddenly they were being thrown back as an angel crater smashed into the floor next to them. Mary flew back and smashed against a giant rock, head throbbing upon impact. Lucifer wasn't so lucky.

His head hit a spear shaped rock and his arms flew out automatically to grab it, but he missed. The next one hit his stomach, and he found he couldnt breathe as he struggled in the tight squish between the rocks.

Mary stood up on unsteady feet, holding the rock to balance herself. It's dirty layer was splattered with red stains. A slow whoosh sounded from behind her, and she threw herself to the ground as another blast connected with the ground next to her.

The rock she was taking cover behind exploded, and she flew backwards before falling and tumbling down into a country sized crater. It felt like she was rolling for hours, and she soon gave up trying to slow herself down with her hands, as they were now covered in scrapes and bruises.

Finally, she reached the bottom and did a rolly polly before landing unceremoniously on her face. She turned her head to the side so she could breathe and stayed there for a while. Then, a thought crossed her mind.

She scrambled to her feet and looked around. Just as she had been hoping, Lucifer was nowhere to be found. She silently thanked whoever it was that ruled over this world before taking off in the other direction. She had to find shelter. Lucifer might be strong, but he was significantly weaker than before. There was a chance he wouldn't see her if she hid well enough.

Her plan was to find a cave of some sort and hide there until the coast was clear. She almost got away with it, too, if it weren't for the distinct click a few metres away. She could recognize that sound anywhere, it was one she had grown up to hearing.

The sound of a safety being removed.

"Hands up!" A voice barked out from behind her.

She couldnt be sure, but she could have bet she'd heard that voice before. Maybe it was one of her old partners from this dimension. But she silently prayed it wasn't a familiar face. She wasn't sure she could handle that.

In her pocket, she still had the silver blade, but she had no idea what this thing was and knives weren't very useful from this distance.

She pondered her options for a while, not noticing the soft footsteps coming towards her until she felt a cool surface press against her head. And none too lightly for that matter.

Slowly, putting her hands up in the air, she turned around. Then gasped. A choked cry escaped her lips as she drew back one of her hands to muffle the noise.

"Dean...?"

Le fíní...

I considered ending it here, just to be that kinda author, then decided against it. I figured I'd tortured you guys enough already. Be grateful.

His stare didn't waver, and neither did his firm grip on his gun. "How do you know my name?"

She nearly cried. She hadn't noticed it before, but now she could hear how familiar theh sounded. But she knew this wasn't her Dean. He would never point a gun at her.

"What are you?" He mused, walking in circles round her. "Demon? Angel? Shifter?" With each word, he let off a shot in another direction. At the last one, she even felt the shift in air as it blew past her. She shivered.

"Human." She answered simply, staring back at him as he crossed by her.

He stopped for a moment to stare at her with raised eyebrows, unbelieving. If she was a human, in this weather, she would be dead by now.

"Let me correct that," she said again. "Hunter. Mary Winchester to be precise."

She could see the way his eyes widened slightly before his face settled back into his hard, cold gaze. "Abd why should I believe you?" He asked.

Mary snorted. Very unlike her, but she had to appear unaffected, like this happened every day. Cause it was totally normal to run into your son from another dimension and have to persuade him not to kill you. An everyday thing.

"And why should I make you beleive me? I want nothing from you. And by the looks of it, you have nothing to offer." She tilted her head to te side, mimicking Cas. Like she was examining him, even though she could imagine every single detail of him with her eyes closed.

He laughed, a deep , barking laugh that seemed so out of place with his uptight posture. That laugh belonged to Dean when he was on a hunt with Cas and Sam. Cas more specifically. It did not belong to the man who was pointing a gun at her, eyes narrowed in disbelief.

"Dean! What in the world do you think you are doing!"

For what felt like the hundredth time that day, Mary felt her breath hitch. He looked nothing like how she had seen him last. It seemed he had de-aged all the way to when they first met. But that wasn't what was surprising. It was his eyes.

They glowed white, him not even bothering to hide it. He had a small smile on his face, but it disappeared as soon as his eyes landed on Mary. His brows furrowed, and he stopped in his tracks.

"Bring her in." He said to Dean. "I think she has some important information."

Dean opened his mouth to argue, then stopped. Lowering his gun, he sent one last spiteful look to Mary before stomping off into the Bunker. Not THE Bunker, but it looked a lot like it.

He stopped right in front of her, smile reappearing on his face. "My name's Mike. But most people call me Micheal, archangel and God's right-hand man. Well, Gid, but he goes by Ronnie."

"What?" She rasped, trying to get a grip on all the information she was receiving.

"Ronnie: Thr Avenger."

An that was when she broke down.

Unexpected, right? Dean and Michael working together. Where's Sam, you ask? Well, you'll just have to wait to find out.

Next chapter coming soon, I promise!  I'm actually pretty proud of how this is turning out. Maybe one day this'll actually be a pretty popular book, maybe?

Anyways, thanks for reading, but this isnt the end, so carry on!
